Customer had the unit pulled out from the wall and I removed the back cover and tested the compressor. I found all fans operating, but the compressor was not. I cycled power to the unit and when the compressor came on, it began to make a loud noise and was showing to be drawing almost 10amps. I advised the customer of my findings and quoted them for the sealed system repair-replacement of compressor, dryer and access valve and customer advised that due to the units age, they will purchase a new refrigerator. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit gets out after its been used for a while. I tested the unit and when it turned on, it was louder than expected. I removed the top panel and the unit continued to remain loud. I disassembled the unit and found the rollers and tension pulleys werent rolling properly due to the accumulation of lint debris which turned into an oil. I turned the rollers by hand and they stopped immediately. Also found the belt beginning to fray. Customer advised that the unit has never been serviced. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop flames. Upon further inspection, I found the cooktop with the wall oven installed under it making it difficult to get to the model/serial placard of the cooktop (photo). The customer advised that the cooktop flames are turning yellow and orange. I questioned the customer if they have a humidifier in the home and they advised that they do. I explained to the customer that the humidifier increases the percentage of water vapour in the air, which decreases the percentage of oxygen causing the flames to go from blue to orange/yellow increasing the CO in the flame. I recommended that the customer open some windows and doors near the cooktop and turn the humidifier off when using the cooktop. Also recommended placing a fan in the kitchen area to circulate the air to the outside to help get the flames back to blue. I tested the cooktop burners and found the flame tips orange/yellow and the base of the flame blue in color. I provided a video for the customer that showed how a humidifier effects the cooktop flames when its turned on. No repairs needed at this time and no gas leaks detected during service. Arrived onsite for a no cool refrigerator. I found the evaporator encased in frost. I forced defrost and found the heater not turning on. I found the brown wire at the molex connection for the heater with the pin not snapped in the molex causing voltage not to reach the heater in defrost. I snapped the pin in the connector and snapped the connector together then tested in defrost again and the unit works as designed. I defrosted the coil for the customer. Call complete.

I think there is a issues wiring issue with the unit because of the freezer door activating the ice dispenser door.quote the customer to replace the control board. The customer advised the unit frosted up in their freezer prior to losing temperature, and while the freezer was still somewhat cooling, the temperature was increasing in both compartments. They had previously unplugged the unit prior to service. Disassembled the evaporator cover and checked resistance through the heater. Found proper resistance and continuity. Checked through the bimetal and found the bimetal closed, indicating a good circuit. Did advise the customer that the issue would most likely be with the control but that their model number did not register on any GE or alternative sites. Arrived onsite for a microwave making a squeaking sound periodically when in use. I found one of the wheels on the turntable ring dragging and causing the squeaking noise the customer was hearing when the plate was loaded down. I replaced the ring and tested. "I have Don site for a dryer that is not powering on. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise at the unit would not start any cycles but that the door light would come on. Tested the unit and found the unit making a clicking sound, and then completely shutting off before showing a power failure error message. I checked voltage at the terminal block and found proper voltage and polarity when the unit was sitting idle. Checked voltage from Line 1 to neutral when the start button was pressed and activated. Found voltage drop to 0 V. Checked Line 2 to neutral when the unit started and found voltage increased to 240 V. Check voltage at the wall and confirm the same issue. The customer advised that every time the unit would start that it would sit off a different breaker in her breaker box every time. The customer showed me it doing this to three separate breakers three times in a row. Did advise the customer that her issue was an electric supply issue. Filled out the incoming voltage checklist and had the customer sign incoming voltage waiver. The customer will need an electrician to fix her electrical supply issues. Arrived on site for a wash machine that has a broken lid lock. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm the customers complaint and found the latch completely detached from the cabinet. "JFFCC72EHL04 Arrived to inspect cooling issues. The customer advised the cooling started to fail shortly after the last service and they smelled a gas odor from within the RC. Upon arrival, I could hear the sealed system making a spurting noise, indicative of refrigerant loss and the FC was at 45, RC was 32. I found the RC evaporator he pinhole leak at the low side connection and replaced the evaporator. The system had an acrid odor and after removing the compressor, I had to flush the system several times with N to clear the odor and also looked for particulate matter. Finding none, I removed and replaced the compressor and vacuumed the system to 440 microns. The vacuum holding for 15 minutes, I charged with the MFG prescribed refrigerant charge and tested. The unit started cooling and operated as designed. During diagnosis, the left FC slide had broken at the upper drawer retainer and will require replacement. No leaks observed during service. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has a dripping leaking sizzling sound. The customer stated product is freezing in the drawer even after turning the temperature to the 3 setting for the RC. I found that the sound the customer was hearing was when the unit was in a defrost and I explained that this was normal operation and how it works. I tested temps and found them good but the RC slowly gets colder because the dampener is leaking cold air when in the closed position. I demonstrated how the glides slide into place on the rails and explained that if the drawer is not pulled out from the middle, it will cause the metal rails to jam into the plastic glides and get stuck, at which time, they would need to pull the drawer back out and alight the glides with the rails and slide the drawer back in. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burner not reducing to simmer. Upon further inspection, I tested the burners and found the middle burner flame going out when turning the valve to simmer. I removed and replaced the valve and retested and unit is operating as designed. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I tested the gas line connections and found no gas leaks. Reassembled the unit and retested and all burners continue to operate as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for unit tripping breaker. Upon arrival inspected unit. Customer stated tripping is intermittent. Once a week to every other use. Preheated until to 350 degrees and unit heated and cycle properly. Customer stated that this was an issue prior however the builder sent and electrician out did something unit worked for about 3-4 months then started again. Unit cycling through entire visit. Notified customer that if it were a component of the unit, it should have failed. Verified voltage and connection at terminal block . Unit did not trip breaker during visit. Unit is running on GFCI breaker. Notified customer of Nuisance tripping filled voltage checklist and sent customer square D contact info. Job complete"

"Arrived onsite for double wall oven, upper oven, shutting off. Customer stated he cannot use the upper oven, only the lower. On arrival put unit in diagnostics. Found stored error code 6/4 communication error. Power cycled unit due to intermittency. Tested temperature at 350 degrees and reached target temperature and maintained. Customer stated usually cooks at higher temperatures. Set unit to 425 degrees . Also tried convection bake. After power cycle could not duplicate any issues. Unit heated and was cycling properly. "Arrived onsite for fridge section freezing food. Upon arrival learned that doors had not been opened in several days. Used thermal coupling to monitor temperature. Found unit cycling and temperature run from a Low of 33- high of 40 degrees. Thermistors test fine. Took pics of current condition and called tech line for assistance. Customer home is rental, little to no food product and food that is freezing are a couple items on the highest level top shelf, under the air duct. Tech line stated without product and with normal use, the unit will have drastic swings in temperature. No product to maintain internal temperature and could cause extended run time.
