Tested the water dispenser and the valve continued to chatter but not as loud. I found that the incoming water line was not completely secured on the valve at theBack of the unit. Retested after tightening and still had chatter. I contacted Techline and spoke to Chris and advised the issue. Chris recommenced ordering a reducer as pointed it in service pointer #W10790000A. Provided File #7725926030. I am ordering the reducer kit and pex water tubing. No water leaks observed during service.; ordrng 1 8212547RP (tube-water) and 1 W10786952 (valve)"

(JM) Arrived on site for refrigerator making noises. Monitored unit while servicing oven. No abnormal noise was made. Performed diagnostics and attempted to recreate noise failure. Was not able to repeat failure. Turned temperature down in unit to have all components running to recreate sounds. No noise was observed. Customer stated that the noise sounded like a type writer. Pulled unit out and inspected unit compressor. Found water line in a slight pinch. Corrected water line. All tested good. No water leaks present.

Noise is due to plastic coupler on top of door hinge making contact with receiving end on bottom of refrigerator door. Disassembled door and showed how plastic moves against each other at this point and makes a little noise. Design also helps door to close.
