DISHWASHER KITCHENAID KUDE70FXSS5 "Arrived on site for dishwasher that would go through was and drain cycle continuously all day. I put unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F6E4, after the error codes the unit would then make a loud beep and not enter a diagnostic cycle. I found that the filter in the unit was extremely dirt and the OWI was covered in grime. I cleaned both and then tested unit again, but it would not initiate diagnostics cycle still. I checked the float switch but it ohm’d out correctly. I found the unit to have a bad control and OWI sensor. I installed new parts and tested unit. Unit now working as designed. Call complete."

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRFF507ESS01 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that still is not making ice. I checked temps and found the RC at 41 degrees and the FC only dropping to 9.8 degrees when the unit switched back to the FC to cool. I found all components that have to do with the ice maker functions working as designed except the icemaker is never getting to harvest temp. I inspected the FC evaporator coil and it had frost on about a third of it. I inspected the condenser and found the outer parts of the coil clean but the inner parts of the coil were packed with hair and dust not allowing good air flow across it. The temps in the FC have been the same on the past 4 visits so I explained to the customer that I didnt suspect a refrigerant leak but suspected the restricted coil to be the cause for it not reaching harvest temp. I explained to the customer that the coil would have to be blown out using a compressor and blow nozzle but explained that it would make a big mess and we didnt

Customer informed me they would set to 2 hour delay and come back 8+ hours later, and unit is running still. Talked to TJ at tech line SR7729614438. He informed yea that only part that controls this is the main control, but there are several factors that will increase that cycle time. First is that the OWI takes 2+ hours to calibrate and will increase cycle time. With delay wash unit will also fill with cold water and take an extended period of time to heat the water. Customer is going to run during the day and make sure the cycle finishes. Advised if the cycles finish then the unit is considered working as designed and there are no other parts to replace. Tech line said if there is no OWI code then it’s working as designed. Found no OWI codes. Call complete."

RANGE ESTATE TES356TD0 Arrived on site for Range they had a glass door that broke up on arrival customer described that they found when they went to open the door after the oven was preheating that the trim on the side of the door seemed a little loose and the moment they open the door the glass fell right out of the door upon further inspection of the unit I was able to verify that due to the age of the range and the trim piece that broke the heat overtime had worn it down causing it to break and allowing the glass be damaged. Then go to authorization to replace the glass door as well as the two trim pieces on the left and right side of the door after making the repair I was able to verify that the door is now functioning as designed when it opens and shuts and none of the parts of loose. call complete

REFRIGERATOR GE GFSS6KKYESS Arrived on site for refrigerator meeting previously diagnosed sealed system equipment. On arrival found that previously diagnosed system issue was still a problem and then proceeded to make the needed repairs with the compressor UV dryer and coupler. After pulling a vacuum I was able to verify that the low side was sitting at -30 psi and held it for 10 minutes without any issues or signs of a leak unfortunately the UV dryer we were sent out with did not have an access valve on it so I could not verify any readings on that side but I was able to charge up the system on the low side and after filling the unit to 4.6 ounces as recommended then reassembled the unit and was able to verify after 20 minutes the unit was definitely cooling down as needed and inform the customer will take 24 hours for the temps to stop fluctuating and become stable and another 24 hours after that for the icemaker to fully fill the bucket up with ice. Call complete

Customer had unit unplugged for the past two weeks so both sections were room temperature. I plugged in the unit and found the unit cooling had been set to off. I asked the customer if they had potentially turned it off by mistake. Customer advised that they may have accidentally but they can’t be sure as they have two other people in the home. Turned unit cooling on and the compressor kicked on. Both condenser fan and evaporator fans were running. Could not take amp draw off of compressor due to inverter.
