"KRFF507HPS01 Arrived to inspect no ice. The ice maker fascia had sliver sized pieces of ice, usually associated with restricted water flow, however test mode 45 showed an expected and complete fill. Error mode showed E5 and I tested the thermistor, which was within 1% of the actual ice maker mold temperature, verified via thermography. The voltage line was also well within expected value and test 57 passes and operated as expected. Due to the erratic nature of the issue, I removed and replaced the ice maker and re-tested. The unit showed E0 and I advised the customer to contact us if issues persist. All functions were present and the ice maker filled as designed. No leaks observed during service."

Arrived onsite for washer making noise. On inspection I but the unit in diagnostics mode and it had a rubbing noise during agitation cycle and spin cycle. I flipped and the pulley cover was not installed and the pulley was rubbing on it I also noticed the belt was all the way up rubbing on the motor case. I fixed the belt and I assume the customer if the company but a new gear case in. He said he pretty sure they put a gear case. Knowing I calibrated the unit and then ran it diagnostics mode and the rubbing noise was gone. I then put 2 small blankets in the unit and ran the rinse and spin to see if it would make any other noise. Had no issue. I think the other company never calibrated the unit and it was making a grinding noise when going from agitate and spin cycle. After calibration it never made the noise again. The unit is operating as designed. No water leaks detected during service.

The shaking and noise is normal and I instructed the customer about the noise is the drain hose taping in the back when in spin. The oil that previous tech was seeing is actually grease that comes to lube the bearing and its on all new ones as well. See pictures on SD of no oil."

"Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the vent pipe. I tested the machine and there were no other water leaks present at the time of service. The customer stated he thought the unit had a control issue because the time for the normal/regular cycle used to be less than an hour but now its like an hour and a half long. I showed the customer that the steam selection had been turned on in that cycle and this cause the added time. I turned steam off and it showed a 55 minute cycle. I explained that whatever options are selected for a cycle, after start is selected the machine will default to those same options the next time that cycle is run. All is working as designed. Call complete."

I attempted to clear the code, but the unit still stuck in a drain even though I know water was at the bottom of the tub. Unplug the unit again and found the unit finally quit. Attempted to start a cycle on the unit went straight into a drain and started flashing the F9 E1 error code again. I checked the pressure hose for any obstructions are blockage in the tube and found the tube operating as designed. Replaced the control and tested the unit. The unit began to work and operate as designed. Call complete."

Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin full of ice and I attempted to dispense cubed and crushed ice and the unit failed and was very loud. I found a rag that had gotten caught in the separator arm and solenoid (photo). I attempted to remove the rag but it kept tearing as I pulled on it. Using my steamer, I sprayed the steam on the rag and loosened it up and was able to remove the ice bin and then removed the remaining pieces of the rag. I placed the ice bin back in its space and tested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher to replace previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the harness and found where the harness had gotten hot at the over fill switch. I replaced the switch and the control. Before starting the machine I saw where the installers used Teflon tape between the hose fitting and the fill valve. I removed the valve and found Teflon tape in it. I replaced the fill valve. I tested the machine in diagnostics and it completed the cycle and works as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

"John site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and works area. Customer advised that both sides of increase in temperature, but it has remained cold in the lower portion of the freezer. Did confirm the customers complaint and found a defrost issue in the freezer section. Gained access to the control and checked resistance through the defrost sensor. Found it registering 48.7 k ohms of resistance (under -30?F temperature) indicating a failed thermistor. I check the heater and fan proper resistance. I did not have a thermistor on hand so will order the evaporator thermistor. Replaced the control and rescheduled the customer ; ordrng 1 WPW10384183 (Evap thermistor)"

"Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. On inspection I tested the cap, magnetron and transformer. I then put the new fuse in and plugged it in and the fuse blew again. I then tested the door switches and the monitors switches and they were good I pulled the magnetron out in did a physical check to see if there was any burnt spot on it and in the wave guide. Arrived onsite for a washer that was full of water to the top of the tub ring and not draining. I plugged the washer in and could hear the pump humming but the unit was not draining. I removed all the water from the tub and removed the pump. I found the impeller wobbling and messed up from a welding rod that had gotten in it. . I replaced the pump and ran the auto diagnostics test. The unit completed the cycle and worked as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

"Arrived onsite for valve issues on cooktop. On inspection there was cooking grease on all components. 3 of the burners were not igniting. I pulled the top of the cooktop. I testing ignitors and 1 that was not sparked, on further inspection it had grease on it I cleaned it off and it started working. I clean the rest of off and got them to work. The front left burner valve was not moving, I clean the stem off and worked back until it was free and working again. Informed the customer how to prevent the valve from seizing up. I found 2 burners that would not ignite. The gas passage hole was clogged. I cleaned all the burners to insure that they would work. I got all the burners to ignite after the cleaning.
