Upon further inspection of the unit the customer did state that after they had their floors remodeled that the fridge icemaker was making ice and dispensing as designed but they could still not get any water out of the water dispenser inside the freezer door. I was able to verify that the double solenoid water inlet valve was receiving the proper 120 V to it but the valve is not opening and letting water to the freezer dispenser door I then replaced water valve retested the dispenser and found that the unit is functioning 100% as designed with no leaks before during or after repair. Upon arrival I found that the unit that needed repairs was still in its original packaging in the box inside of the customers garage and we were not instructed to install the machine but I did go ahead and install and repair the damage tub and transferred all the good hardware from the old unit to the new one. I also made sure to the best of my ability that all the seals hoses etc. were clamp down tight and would not give any chance of leaking once the unit is installed. I removed the compressor, and removed the hard start device. I installed a new compressor and corrected the wiring for the new compressor. I also installed a uv dryer and an access valve. I did a push pull test and found it working as designed. I pulled a vacuum and found the vacuum holding. I put a measured charge into the system and found the pressure building appropriately. I found excessive amounts of suds in the tub once the test was complete. I ran water through the unit multiple times to drain out all the suds. I advised that the suds will get stuck under the float switch and cause the unit to constantly fill and drain. I also explained that the turbidity sensor will sense the suds and cause the unit to keep draining to get rid of the suds. No repairs needed at this time.

Found the icemaker was actually turned off, turned that back on and it harvested and filled. Tested water valve several times and found no issues present. Advised that the reservoir can freeze up and cause no water to come out, and to bump temp up if this happens. As far the noise I found that the fans are operating fine. Customer showed me video of noise, sounds like it’s coming from the back and a screech.

MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WMH31017HS-6 Arrived on site for he microwave will blow for 2 minutes to cook then it will completely stop working. The clock on the microwave will continue to count down while the fan is off. Upon arrival I placed a cup of water in the microwave for 40 seconds. The water was warm. Turned on the fan and it only hummed. Replaced control board and the blower motor did not spin as designed. Instead it hummed just as it did when I arrived. Tested interlocks and they tested faulty. Interlocks I was sent with weren’t for this microwave. Ordering new interlocks and will return with blower motor to complete repair. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when they use the steam cycle, the unit leaks water onto the floor. I disassembled the unit and found that the nozzle assembly was leaking.
