"On site for a refrigerator that still has a defrost issue. Inspected unit and work area. The unit was running and had a major defrost issue in the freezer section. Ran the unit through diagnostics and found the defrost sensor open. Checked resistance from the control through the defrost sensor and found it reading 49.5 k ohms Indicating temperature is below -20?. Gained access to the defrost sensor and found it reading 44.1 k ohms of resistance. Checked again from the control and still found 47.4 k ohms of resistance. I checked through the defrost heater and found it reading 91.1 ohms of resistance. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7738013150. He had me run a few tests, but advised to replace that heater and check the wiring at the molex connector underneath. Replace the defrost heater and found the Molex connector underneath behind the dryer not fully seated properly. He advised that his assumption with the random readings from the control may have been due to improper seating of the connectors. Fixed the fitting and the unit is now working and operating as designed. He advised to call back if any other issues persist. Call complete."

"WRS315SNHM06 Arrived to complete charge. I measured the FC internal temperature and found it at 12F, but unknown when the last time it was opened. Customer advised it appeared to be cooling well since the repair. Upon inspection, prior to charging, I discovered the factory joint at the Yoder loop entry point had a very minor leak, which was undetectable without dye and the likely cause of the initial cooling failure. I removed the section of tubing and re-brazed, and then vacuumed and charged. Operational test good, no water connections to unit."

Arrived onsite for refrigerator making noise. On previous visit found a bolt on the compressor and a copper tube laying on the compressor. Once those issues were fixed there was a slight noise coming out of the compressor. If I put my hand on the compressor the noise goes away. I installed damper pads to the compressor to help with noise.

"KRMF706ESS01 Arrived to inspect ice in FC. I found a similar appearance within the FC, as in prior services and inspected further. I found the gasket fully intact and did not suspect customer misuse d the slides fully retracted as designed. There was ice within the drawer areas, back wall and ceiling of the FC, but none on the rails or at the door area. Inspection of the evaporator revealed a long-term icing issue, evidenced by foam deterioration within the covers foam liner. Removal of the cover and liner revealed a large ice mass in the upper right corner, near the cap tube, but not encapsulating it, nor did the unit have any troubles cooling. Removing the ice via steam, section by section, I could tell the water had came from the area where the evaporator tubing enters in the upper part of the rear, top right, of the FC. After having the FC open for nearly an hour and drying all surfaces off, I performed a thermography. I found evidence of ice and water within the foam liner area and that cannot be corrected via conventional means. I found no evidence of the dispenser or ice maker being related to the issue and I could not recreate it via luring water down the RC drain. I contacted the MFG Tech Line, MFG Tech Dru, file# 7738002676. I advised the technician of my findings and the unit was submitted for review due to an internal cabinet water leak. No leaks of the water supply observed during service."

The ice had a very cloudy appearance and discussion with the customer revealed they have had recent water softener issues. I advised the appearance of the ice is very similar in appearance to other similar situations where excessive mineral content, or sodium, has been found to be the cause of ice production and dispensing issues. The customer will have the softener system inspected and serviced and will contact us if there are further issues. No leaks observed during service."

"Arrived onsite for a dishwasher displaying an F8E4. The customer stated it started displaying even more codes now. I checked stored error codes and found an F9E1, F7E1, F8E4, & F8E2. I tested the machine and found the fill and drain working properly but the wash motor started then stopped running with good voltage to it. I found a real slow drip from the fill hose dripping in the overflow pan because the hose was hand tight. I tightened the fill hose and replaced the pump and motor. I tested the dishwasher and all works as designed. There were no water leaks present at the end of service. Call complete."

Arrived onsite for a washer that was skipping to wash complete after starting it and it is making a clicking noise. I found the slider metal band had sheared the plastic pins and slid down on one side causing the issue. I replaced the slider and tested the machine in service diagnostics. Arrived on site for loud dryer when in use . Found marks on blower wheel from outer cover . Reshaped blower housing and cover . Dryer is quieter . Job complete

Arrived on site to test unit for rattling noise. Found no obstruction in motor. Customer provided video of rattling noise. Found noise is similar to charcoal pieces in filter rattling. Removed filters and settled charcoal to bottom of filters. Noise is currently not present. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the ui and tested the unit in diagnostics mode. The unit is operating as designed and no water leaks detected during service.

"Arrived on site to test unit for excessive shaking, customer stated since day one unit was extremely off balance on any load size, tested unit found tub ring broken and suspension ripped out from housing do to defective tub with no holes punched through, customer wants unit replaced but parts are available to fix unit, will need to replace basket, tub ring, and suspension. "Arrived onsite for unit making small ice cubes and slow water dispensing. Upon arrival inspected unit. Found low ice tray fill and very slow dispensing. Removed filter and found flow restored. Recommend Customer to replace filter , if symptoms persist recommend replacing filter housing. Customer will monitor. Job complete"
