The hinge arm was jammed in the support and the spring was not attached causing the top right corner of the door to not close. I ran a ice maker harvest and the ice maker worked as designed. I ran a fill test and found the fill valve not sending water to the ice maker. I found the coil on the valve open. I replaced the valve and tested the unit. I only got a small amount of water. I found the ice maker water line had fallen into a notch in the lower frame and became pinched. I straightened the line out and tie wrapped it up to the restraint on the dispenser line. I tested the ice maker fill again and the unit worked as designed. Call complete.

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator water and ice tasting like dirt. Upon further inspection, I tested the water and it smells/tastes like dirt. Customer is not connected to a water softener. Contacted Techline and spoke to Scott and advised of my findings. Scott advised that if the unit does not have a Pex or copper line from the wall to the unit and is a braided line, something in the braid is mixing with the chlorine in the water and causing the smell/taste. Scott advised to change the water hose to Pex or copper and to flush the line really well. File #7726999277. I advised the customer of the issue and they advised that they would replace the line themselves. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
