Arrived onsite for the refrigerator with frosting issues in the FC and the FC light not working. Mr also stated the ice maker was changing from cubed ice to crushed ice on its own. I found the FC clear of any frost and ice when I arrived. I found ice on the door switch lever keeping it from opening fully. I removed the ice and the switch and light work properly. I explained to the customer that the door more than likely had stayed cracked open on the right side because they have a good seal and this is why the frost went away on its own. I tested the UI switching between crushed and cubed ice. I found the UI shorting out causing the ice selection to change and the ice door to not function correctly. I changed the UI and retested. All is working as designed. Call complete.

"arrived on site to inspect washer error code. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1. I cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed showing no error codes at the end of testing. Following the tech sheet for t(e error code, I tested the control and sensor, but was unable to get a good reading due to faulty leads. I removed and replace the sensor and retested and again the unit operated as designed. The customer advised that the unit did not function correctly on Whites mode and Cold Wash mode. I began a test on whites mode and the unit slowly dispensed water (hot). I am ordering the flow meter, diverter valve and CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION and will return with the water valve and control. Will need authorization for all four parts ad office to schedule return service. "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator not dispensing water. Upon further inspection, I tested the water dispenser and no water came out. I disconnected the water line at the top left hinge and blew through the water tube to clear it and it was clear. When I removed the UI, I found that the top right corner of the dispenser pad was cracked so I removed and replaced the both pads. I checked the valve and found it open. Removed and replaced the the valve and retested and the unit dispensed water. Also found that the units water line is connected directly into the RO system. I advised the customer of my findings/repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for the refrigerator that ice comes out of the dispenser when the bin gets full and the ice door is not closing. I found that this was not the customers complaint at all. The customer thought that when the bale arm was lifted on the ice maker that it would turn off the dispenser function and I explained to the customer that this only shuts off the ice maker. I explained to the customer that they needed to lock the control panel to stop ice from dispensing when the paddle is pressed. The customer was wanting to keep ice from dispensing but wanted the water paddle working at the same tome for their kids. I explained that this was not possible, that when the panel is locked it turns off both water and ice functions. Call complete."

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=9 degrees & RC=39 degrees. I removed the ice bin and found a large amount of ice built up in the ice maker and housing. I removed the ice maker and found two pieces of styrofoam insulation in the fill tube water chute. I removed all of the ice build up and replaced the ice maker. Also found ice built up inside the fill tube and I removed it. Placed the ice maker back into the housing and tested and the water dispensed into the tray and the ice maker began to harvest. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning/clothing soaked at end of cycle. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Continued with testing and the unit operated as designed again showing no error codes at the end of testing. I removed the water hoses and found corrosion inside the hoses and found some debris inside the screens of the valve. I removed and replaced the water valve housing and calibrated the unit. Retested the unit and it operated as designed again. I advised the person in the home of my findings/repairs and advised that both hoses would need to be replaced. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. I attempted to contact the customer with no avail. Left message."

"arrived on site to inspect cooktop noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the middle burner will make a “thumping” noise. I removed the cooktop to inspect the orifice holders and spark module and found where a spill had occurred on the middle burner and gone inside the burner box. I advised the customer that the noise is due to the spill. I advised that if the burner is hot and liquid gets on the burner it can cause a popping noise. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I checked all gas connections and all checked good. I checked all Ignitor connections and all were good as well. I advised the customer when they have a spill to clean it immediately to prevent the burners from malfunctioning. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."
