Customer advised that the freezer section was still not going to proper temps and they were not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Found poor airflow in the freezer due to the air vents being restricted off by food. Pulled evaporator cover off and found two ice clumps at top of right and left of evaporator. I called Techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 7727541748. He advised that he think the unit airflow was blocked off not allowing proper airflow into the freezer and therefore making the refrigerator section take on more cold air than it needed. He thinks that because the freezer never got to temp, the unit did not know when to defrost the unit and frosted over. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with the freezer temps going between 1 & 22 degrees. Ms stated the FC wasn’t as cold as it should be and the icemaker had stopped working. I found the FC at 26 degrees and the RC at 40 degrees. I found a very poor frost pattern on the evaporator. I found the compressor extremely hot. I checked pressures and found -15 to -17 psi on the low side and 117 - 125 psi on the high side. The compressor has something mechanically wrong with it and will need to be replaced. "arrived on site to inspect cooktop leaking gas. Upon further inspection, customer advised that their plumber inspected the gas line and found a small crack in the regulator. Made sure the gas was turned off then I removed the regulator and found a small hairline crack at the bottom where the gas line connects at the threads. It appears that the installer tightened the connection too tight and caused the regulator to crack. I replaced the regulator and used yellow plumbers tape on the threads. Turned the gas back on and tested the gas line connections with liquid gas leak detector and found no leaks. Tested the cooktop and it is operating as designed. Using my multimeter, I placed it around the black wire of the junction box and the element showed to be within the 7-9amps during the wash cycle and drying cycle.
