In service test mode, the external sensor error F3E8, was present and after clearing, did not return. After multiple key press combinations, I found how to enter service test mode (reported to the MFG Tech Assist) and discovered the humidity and temperature portion of the sensor both read a value of 0. MFG Tech Chris. File# 7736494884. The tech advised the issue with the readings was acceptable due to software issue and to proceed with repair. Arrived on site to test unit for unit tripping breaker. Test unit and found all wires are good terminal block is good. Replaced control board and unit still tripped breaker. Found GFCI breaker outside for range. Advised customer to replace it with a regulator breaker. Customer was having issues with the dryer too and it was on a GFCI breaker once they replaced it to a regular breaker the dryer is working correctly. Job complete.

Ra some clothes in the unit and had to turn it off when it started spin cycle because the basket dipped hard to the back right and then started bouncing up and down. I pulled the hub nut and the basket out and installed new suspension.reinstall the basket and then tested unit in diagnostics mode. It worked fine put the real test is with clothes in it. Informed the customers to let us know if the problem continues.

Checked bake element amp draw and is 10.4 which is correct. Test amp draw on cooktop burners. right front is 10 amps all others are just over 5 amps. Contacted techline for assistance. Gave tech all my readings. Tech determined that the breaker is too weak and recommending replacement of breaker to another 40 amp or even a 50 amp. Tech gave SR# 7736641245

Arrived on site for washer making loud noise at end of cycle with one minute left on timer. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found f0e7 and f6e3 in diagnostics. After further inspection I found rotor screw had come free of gearcase and rotor wad loose. Installed new rotor and screw and added locktight to insure screw wouldnt back out. Arrived onsite for dryer making a noise. On inspection found a rattle that the customer said it started after the wheels and the belt pulley was replaced. I gain access to the dryer and found the 2 screws missing 1 on the lent housing was missing and the other was where the vent hose connects to the dryer. The support bracket was missing the screw. Fixed both issues and reassembly the unit. The rattle is now gone and other noise has appeared. I informed the customer that the age of the u it you are going to have noise pop up as th em it gets order.

Unit runs drain pump excessively even when water is out and will not fill during a normal cycle. This leads me to believe unit has a failure in the pressure / float switch. The unit is also still experiencing issues draining, and I have to try the drain several times before it will actually move the water out. This is likely due to a sticking check ball from buildup in the sump. Arrived onsite for refrigerator not dispensing ice. On inspection check the motor gear and it was good. I saw that the teeth in the ice bin were frozen over not allowing the auger to turn. I defrosted the ice bin auger ant tested the ice dispenser. It is now dispensing ice informed the customer to dump ice every 45 days to help keep this issue from happening again. No water leaks detected during service.

Arrived on site to test unit for not heating. Test unit and found no error codes on the unit. Our unit in test mode and heating element working correctly. Advised customer to use rinse aid or extended dry for better drying process. Also customer showed me damaged inside the tub. Advised customer I could order a new tub but customer said she will talk to the frog pad about getting a new unit due to unit only being 15 days old

"Arrived on site to inspect range tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that when using the cooktop the unit works fine, but when they use the oven the breaker will trip. I tested the oven on bake at 350 degrees and turned the cooktop burners on and found the unit tripped the breaker. I pulled the unit out and removed the back panel to gain access to the harness. I found the sensor harness was pinched in between the back panel and control panel but the protective cover on the harness was not broken and no burn marks found on the metal. I found the power cord was crimped near the terminal block as well. I tested voltage and got 246V at the outlet and the terminal block. I retested the unit on bake at 350 and with all cooktop burners turned on and the unit operated as designed. I contacted techline and spoke to Joe and advised of the complaint and my findings. Joe had me test amp draw at the terminal block with just the oven on and I found 20-25amps. I turned the front right burner on and amp reading went up to 30-33amps. When I turned the front left burner on, the amp draw spiked at 44amps and then dropped down to 33-36amps. Joe recommended replacing the power cord

Arrived on site for dishwasher not opening/closing door properly and lost tension. Upon arrival confirmed issue and found right side hinge broken. Replaced both hinges and retested door. Found it working as designed call complete.

"WFE540H0ES1 Arrived to inspect erratic heating. I found the bake element would energize anytime the make/break on the L1 line was closed. This included any bake or broil setting and anytime the unit was put into service tweet mode. I verified the contacts closed with the unit unplugged and had a near perfect .2 ohms. Tapping the relay caused the relay to open.

Arrived on site to drop knob off. Left knob at front door job complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect washer with standing water in tub. Upon further inspection, I found a small amount of water in the tub and did not see any water leaking into the tub from a possible open valve. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Once the tub filled and began to agitate, I found a large amount of detergent suds. When the drain pump came on, the water drained and the suds remained, but the drain no pump was loud. The customer advised that they didnt know about using small amounts of detergent as they usually fill the detergent cup up to max. I recommended running the unit with no clothing items in it and then run two small loads with small amounts of detergent and see if the water remains set the end of the last cycle and to keep our office updated if the water remains. The unit operated as designed during testing. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent use. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

They have treated water and pre-rinse and I recommended they return to their prior detergent and explained the reason for the elongated cycle, due to over- detergenting. Upon further inspection, I tested the left side burner controls and found they would not change the temperature when pressing the up & down arrow keys. When I tested the oven on bake mode, the temperature reading on the display would change from 170 to 350 and back to 170. Tenant advised the unit would beep even when it wasnt being used. I removed and replaced the control panel touchpad and tested and unit is operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that has abnormal smells coming from the refrigerator. Inspected unit and work area. Did confirm an odd smell coming out of the refrigerator and disassembled the unit. Could not find any evidence of any residue or burning anywhere inside of the refrigerator. Due to the smell, I did it by the customer that it was most likely that either something spilled in the refrigerator or some thing was hot going into the refrigerator and the air from the food was recycled throughout the unit, causing the abnormal smell. The customer advised that they did not have anything expire or anything spell inside the refrigerator and its been like this for the last few months. They have tried using baking soda and cleaning out the fridge with no resolution. The customer advised that they also had read online that there is a known issue with the drain tube, sucking in dirty water air from the drip pan beneath the unit. I removed the front grill from the drip pan area and could not detect any abnormal smell is coming from the drip pan. I called whirlpool techline and spoke to Robert SR# 7736646463. He advised that based on all my checks, there is nothing from the refrigerator side that would be causing this issue, and it would have to be something that the customer put inside of the refrigerator that initially caused the smell and because of the way that this unit recirculates air, it gets stuck in the Styrofoam through the air channels and will cause this to continue to smell for us a period of time. He advised to have the customer clean out the refrigerator with warm soap and water and two have the customer put charcoal briquettes that are not ready late or do not have any gas in them to absorb the smells. We advised to make no repairs on this unit at this time. Call complete."

"Arrived on site for a dryer that is tripping the breaker when the unit is plugged in. Inspected unit and work area. Found the unit sitting in a science classroom. Checked the terminal block and found no voltage. When the breaker was flipped on, found the breaker immediately trip. Check the unit for any grounded wires, and could not find any grounding wires. The maintenance guy advised that Theyve had numerous issues with the installation of this unit due to the wiring and plug. He advised that it originally was on a GFCI breaker, and when the installers came back to look at it, they found out that they needed to not be on a GFCI breaker. They did not replace the breaker itself, but only replace the box that the unit was plugged in. Found the electrical lines that were going to the breaker were on a shared circuit with other components. Maintenance guy advised that the breaker is not on a dedicated breaker that theres a secondary breaker that the unit was hooked up to, and its the secondary breaker that keeps tripping. I advise the customer that they need to have their unit hooked up to a 240 V dedicated breaker at the main breaker and not hooked up to a secondary breaker due to what appears to be an issue with over Epping on the breaker due to shared circuits. The maintenance guy advised that he believe that the unit was hooked up to two separate 120 V breakers not on a standard 240 breaker. I called Whirlpool Safety Team and spoke to Donna SR# 7736611213. She advised that the customer will need to fix their electrical supply and have to rewire the whole electrical line from a main breaker on a dedicated circuit. She advised to make note for the repairs until this is done. Call complete."

Arrived on site for previously diagnosed parts. I informed the new gasket and the air gaps are in the same spot as the old gasket. On further inspection it looks like the fc door is twisted. Ordering a door and the hinges. No water leaks down during service.; ordrng 1 LW10913113 (Fc door) and 1 W11505709 (Hinge) and 1 W11093938 (Hinge)

Arrived on site to test unit for no power. Test unit and found unit getting correct power at junction box. Found console connection had come loose at control board. Secured connection test unit and unit test good job complete.

Defrost heater is part of evaporator assembly, a sealed system repair would be needed to replace it. Control board would likely also need to be replaced. Repair would not be cost effective in comparison to value of refrigerator. Attempting repair is not recommended. Job complete"

Arrived on site to test unit for loud grinding noise. Found drain pump is the issue. Recommend replacing drain pump. Needing autho and scheduled . ; ordrng 1 W10876537 (Drain pump)

"Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking, inspected unit and work area. Water was shut off at the time of service. I reopen the water source and found the unit leaking from the valve connection. I removed the valve and found the gasket disintegrated. Customer provided a new gasket. I installed new gasket and tested. Unit is now operating as designed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with no power at the outlet and the breaker was tripped. I cycled power at the breaker (GFCI) and resumed to test the unit. I tested the unit and it operated as designed. Unplugged the unit to test the components and found the fuse, cutoff, thermostat and element all had good continuity and all in good standing. I found the terminal block wired correctly (photo) with good voltage (photo) 248V at the wall and 244V while operating. I disassembled the unit and tested the main harness and it tested good. Customer advised the breaker was replaced in 02/23 and someone had tested the unit by running a cord from the unit to the breaker (bypassing the outlet) and it operated for nearly an hour with no issues. Once I had the unit reassembled, I plugged it in to test and found the breaker had tripped when I had previously unplugged the unit. I contacted techline and spoke to Adrian and advised of the complaint and my findings and he suggested having the outlet inspected since it was previously bypassed to test and provided a field number for a service pointer. Adrian advised to not replace any parts and recommended the customer check/service the outlet and provided SR#7736632029. I contacted the Safety Team and spoke to Bianca and provided her with the SR number from techline and she documented our conversation and provided the Safety SR#7736615256. Customer signed the Incoming Voltage Waiver and I advised that I would email a receipt that will have my notes attached and the SR number they will need if they contact Whirlpool for service. No repairs made at this time and no lint observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site for control not displaying correctly . Control will go blank when door is opened

Arrived onsite for oven not the right temperature. I took the temperature of the oven. The upper temperature was 365? and the lower Temperature was 342. When you set the temperature to bake at 350? that is the average temperature from your upper and lower temperature add to gather then divide by 2. Inspectors are using thermal guns in shooting the back of the unit to get there temps. The unit is operating as designed and no gas leaks were detected during service.

"Arrived onsite to inspect dryer not starting cycles. Upon arrival I found that the fuse is open and needs to be replaced. I tested the heating element and it was good. The thermal fuse needs to be replaced.

Arrived onsite and repaired unit with ongoing tendency to freeze fresh food water reservoir. Used permagum to seal the gaping behind the evap cover. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on findings. All else checks good.

"WHRE5550K2WW Arrived to instal previously diagnosed and ordered parts. The basket nut was still seized, even with soaking in penetrant for several days. Utilizing a torch to heat the nut, I was able to free it. I removed the basket assembly for disassembly and upon removal of the tub seal, I found it had expanded and deformed the tub seal retention ring, to the point the new seal had the ability to not contact the ring, around its entire circumference. I advised the customer the only fix would be to replace the tub as well and due to the considerable cost and potential of the part not being available, the customer elected to not move further. I reassembled the unit and the customer will replace. No leaks observed during service

"Arrived on site for refrigerator, inspected unit and work area. Customers complaint was refrigerator freezer door was stuck. I tested the door and found the rails not working properly.

Arrived onsite for previously diagnosed parts. Installed the new transformer and tested unit. I warmed up 2 glass of water for 2 minutes and temperature was 205?. The unit is operating as designed Sr 77366636314

Arrived onsite for a dryer that will not start tumbling sometimes but everything else works. I found the unit is stacked. I found the motor capacitor is bad and the motor needs to be replaced.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator making ice. Upon arrival found bucket full of ice. After speaking with customer I found ice maker was working as designed but some of the vents had been blocked creating a loss in airflow to ice maker thermistor. After instructing customer on block I informed the, to allow ice maker up to 3 days to fill bucket if issue reoccurs. Call complete"

Arrived onsite for a washer that is not spinning when you select normal/regular wash. I replace the control and tested the unit and found unit operating as designed no leaks at this time.

Inspected unit and found drain is clogged causing overspill of water turning to ice blocking air flow. Also found condensation and frost in fc. Sealed off small gaps found on cabinets. Cleared drain and melted all ice. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete"
