Checked temps and the FC=10 degrees & RC=38 degrees. Placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit is operating as designed. I removed the upper cover and found the compressor suction line was completely frozen. While I had the unit in diagnostics, the lice froze and I could hear the ice falling off the line and hitting the top of the chassis making the noise the customer described. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a strange odor. I found something that had come out of the RC return vent and fallen down on the defrost heater causing the light burning smell the customer was noticing. I could not determine what it was only that it was a yellow substance. I cleaned it out of the bottom of the drip pan and off of the defrost heater. I explained to the customer that if there was any left it would eventually burn off and go down the drain. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Place the unit in a . test and found temperatures above harvest temperature. Please do unit and a manual fill test and icemaker filled with water. Took temperature in the freezer compartment and found temperature is at 16°F. I called Techline and spoke to Kevin SR # 7727633865. He advised to use a temperature data blogger into the unit to see temperatures in freezer compartment and then come back and check the temperatures to figure out whether it was a cooling issue or an issue with the icemaker. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, the customer provided a video of the noise from the unit and it sounded like a washer in agitation mode. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested all components that would potentially make insulation noises and could not duplicate the noise. I removed the back cover and inspected the compressor and condenser fan and both are good. The customer advised that the noise is coming from the right side of the unit, but there are no components on the right side that make noise other than the condenser fan. Recommended that the customer take another video if the unit makes the noise again and to make sure they open the fresh foods section doors and the freezer door and get video of the inside of the unit. No water leaks observed during service, leveled the unit, job completed."

Ran unit through an auto test and found a slight knocking noise coming from the back of the unit. Lift it up washer and removed stater. Found clutch not tightly screwed in and a little loose. Tighten screws to form better fitting and tested unit in a manual high speed and medium speed spin cycles. Unit was quiet and working as designed. Advised customer to make sure the drain hose isn’t touching up against the back of the unit due to vibration against the washer. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.
