Arrived on site for ice machine not making enough ice. Upon arrival ran diagnostics and found unit cycled through each setting fine. Upon arrival Id also found ice sheet on heater grid but grid wasnt melting ice properly. Called whirlpool techline after finding ohm resistance to grid was 5.5ohms and voltage was 11 ac volts to grid. Techline says both of these reading are within specs but that we should return with new heater grid. Heater grid has not been melting ice and is instead causing ice to melt natural land not fill inner cavity quick enough. Techline Sr# 7730713173. Office will need to reschedule due to availability apart currently being out of stock; ordrng 1 W10919199 (Cutter grid)

Went to jump icemaker and found the icemaker off. Turned on the icemaker and the icemaker began to harvest. The unit cycled and refilled. Removed water from the icemaker and jumped the unit again. The unit did a full harvest again and refilled. Advise customer of issue and how to avoid future issues with the icemaker. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Immediately, I could hear something electrical and a burnt smell odor. Cycled power to the unit and pulled it from the cabinets and got access to the controls. Cycled power and tested again and found the inverter board was shorting out. Cycled power and removed the magnetron cover and found where the inverter board had shorted. Removed and replaced the inverter board and retested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed"

The customer advised that the unit frosted up in the freezer section about two weeks ago and there was frost all over the entire inside of her freezer. Inspected evaporator and found no defrost issue inside the unit. Confirmed customers complaint of frost in the freezer section as most of the frost had been evaporated but some was still present. Checked gaskets for air leaks and found none. I did find frost buildup inside of her slides and remove the ice from the slides. The unit began opening and closing properly as designed without any resistance

Upon further inspection, customer advised that they had some glass break inside the unit while washing and got most of it out, but the unit wont drain. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1-drain. I cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed up until the drain cycle and I could hear the drain pump making a grunting noise but not draining. I removed the remaining water from the tub then removed and replaced the drain pump and retested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working and unit leaking water at the bottom of the unit. Upon further inspection, I inspected the FC section and found no ice in the bottom section. I inspected the door gasket and found an air leak at the bottom of the door from the door not being closed good and frost forming on the gasket. Cleared the frost and advised the customer of my findings. Tested the ice maker by jumping points T-H and when the IM began to harvest it was making a creaking noise as if it were having a difficult time harvesting. When the water was to dispense into the tray, no water came in. I removed the ice maker assembly and found the fill tube frozen. Removed the ice and placed the Im assembly back in place and retested. Ice maker began to harvest then dispensed water into the tray. I suggested waiting to replace it to see if it fails again.No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working and unit not leveled. Upon further inspection, I found the ice bin full of bagged ice and the ice maker arm was in a position that stops the IM from harvesting. Moved the arm up into the off position then placed it it back down and the IM began to harvest and dispensed water into the tray. While checking the ice maker, I found the unit rocking back and forth to the back right of the unit. I pulled the unit out and removed the back cover to find the back right wheel pin not in place and the pin hitch missing. Using a pin hitch (W11251741) from my van stock, I repositioned the pin and placed the hitch on the pin and rail to secure the pin from falling out and tested the roller. Leveled the unit and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Ran the unit through a harvest test and found the unit thinking the ice bin was full and not completing a harvest cycle. Removed icemaker cover and found a clump of ice causing the arm not to come down all the way making the icemaker think that the ice bin is full. Found the icemaker itself partially broken. Found insulation buildup causing the door seal not to close properly and thus creating frost and ice inside the icemaker area. Removed obstructions and replace icemaker. Tested the unit and the unit began working as designed. Call complete.

On arrival customer had unit moved out and had informed me that the unit started cooling, but freezer temp was slightly colder then normal. He cleaned the condenser coils and found a disconnected wire in the back and left unit unplugged after that. I checked the wire and found it to be the blue wire going from start device to relay. Plugged in the wire and powered unit on. Unit is cooling again now. Advised customer to follow up if the unit stops cooling, but at this time it is cooling and working as designed.

Customer informed us that after they finish cooking it doesnt show it running on the UI but they can feel heat inside the unit for long periods of time after like it is still running periodically where the only way they got it to turn off properly was to reset the breaker, found the UI not responsive at times while trying to enter diagnostics. Found service pointer #W11525545 pointing to the unit not updating so we tested the unit and found the bake and broil elements working, we found the oven turning on and off for us at the time. we are ordering a new UI, to complete the repair, due to the touch screen and update issue. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=-13 degrees & RC= 67 degrees. I found ice forming on the RC evap cover and in the deli drawer. I advised the customer maths to due to the amount of ice they would need to unplug the unit and defrost it and I would have to come back to complete repairs. Customer advised they were going out of town next week and would be back late next week. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the RC evap,fan and found the fan not operating. I will replace the RC evap cover, hv control. No water leaks observed during service.;

Arrived on site for LEAKING WHEN IN USE AND WHEN NOT IN USE-DRIPPING FROM LEFT CORNER-HAS WATER OFF TO UNIT. Found valve leaking. Removed brass filling and found gasket in brass fitting damaged from being over tightened along with the threads on the valve damaged. Installers attempted to use plumbers tape to stop the leak but this did not fix anything. Removed valve and fitting and installed new valve and fitting. Ran through diagnostics and no error codes came on. Valve and fitting no longer leak. No other leaks detected. Job completed.

"Arrived on site for WP fridge is way too cold in fridge- freezing food.freezer is getting too cold- ice buildup. Ran temps and fridge and freezer are cooling as designed. Customer had bumped the settings down to warmest due to the fridge freezing inside. With this, we will not be able to diagnose the issue until we can see what the fridge and freezer are doing when the fridge is freezing items. Moved bagged items off of top shelf to provide better air flow. Ensured items on shelf in fridge werent protruding past the back of the shelves to prevent proper air circulation. Placed in diagnostics and sensors all checked good. Placed in a defrost and could hear ice sizzling on heater as designed. Customer knows to leave settings on recommended if fridge starts freezing items again. This way we can better diagnose what is happening when fridge items are freezing. ; O-emld tckt"
