"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezing in the RC compartment. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the fresh foods section was getting too warm towards the bottom, but still cold in the freezer. I tested temps in the FC=19 degrees & RC=35 degrees. Customer advised the unit is not making ice. I found that the freezer has too much food and little to no airflow, which is causing the freezer to work harder to stay cold and not allowing sufficient airflow to the fresh foods section to keep it cold. Due to the issues prior, I removed and replaced the fresh foods thermistor and recommended to the customer to rearrange the foods in the freezer section to allow for more airflow which would mean possibly removing some of the foods. Also advised that due to the temps being too high in the freezer is why the ice maker isn’t working. Temps have to be below 10 degrees. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"arrived on site to inspect range oven temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the inspector used a metal thermometer to measure the temps in the oven. I advised that in order to get accurate temp readings, a multimeter with thermal lead has to be used to test. Using my multimeter, I placed my thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. Preheat temp was 401. My next five readings were 412, 303, 384, 332, 364 for an average of 359 degrees. To offset the temps, I calibrated the unit minus -10 degrees. I advised the customer of my findings and notified the builder via text of my findings. Job completed."

I ran service test 3 and found the fans working as designed and the unit didn’t power cycle on its own. The fans all worked as designed. The previous company had replaced the UI but the original RC fan and harness was in the unit. I replaced the RC fan and harness. I found an air gap at the drain tube and sealed it with permagum.

"arrived on site to inspect dryer not drying clothes. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit takes several cycles to dry clothing. Customer advised that they have not had vents cleaned but they do clean the dryer lint catcher regularly. Checked the vent outside of the home and found that the screen on the outside vent was completely clogged. Vent cover was mounted into foundation and unable to remove. I tested the unit and found it is heating properly.

I removed the water from the tub then removed the drain pump and find a piece of plastic debris bound up with the drain pump empellar fins. "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator freezer ice build up. Upon further inspection, I found that the FC section had frosted up again on the left side moving towards the middle of the drawer. I removed the frost and removed and replaced both slides and the door gasket. Tested the door and found a small gap just a bit larger than a pin hole in the top left corner of the FC. door gasket at the mullion that separates the crisper drawer and freezer. Using my level, I placed it on the mullion and found where the mullion is badly warped causing the door gasket to not seal correctly. I attempted to adjust the brackets and the mullion with no luck. I contacted Techline and spoke to Bruce and advised of my findings and attempted repairs. Bruce advised to get pictures of the issue and provided file

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, tested temps in the FC=2 degrees on a setting of 5 & RC=44 on setting of 33. Removed bottom shelves in RC section and found a block of ice on the Evap cover. Removed the ice and found the thermistor blackened with corrosion. Once I had the ice removed, I removed and replaced the thermistor and secured it with foil tape and a ziptie and replaced the fan scroll and removed and replaced the user interface. Cycled the power to the unit and it began to cool as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
