"arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking from underneath. Upon further inspection, I found the unit tub full of water. I closed the unit door and pressed cancel to engage the drain pump and it failed. I removed the water from the unit using my wet vac, and removed the drain pump to inspect and it was very hot. Also, I found that the heating element was rusting and broken in two due to shorting out. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and the unit operated as designed except for the drain pump and element. Using my wet vac, I drained the water from the unit at the drain hose connection at the disposal. The hose was clogged with debris as was the disposal port. I was able to get the water to flow through the drain hose. The unit will need a drain pump and element and possibly a drain hose.I am ordering the element and CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION, CNOTE-OFFICE TO SCHEDULE,.; ordrng 1 W10518394 (heater)"

I tested the dispenser and the water came out strong and slowly stopped. I removed the filter and attached a bypass and retested the dispenser and the water came out strong as designed. I advised the customer to purchase a raindrop #4 filter as it’s approved by whirlpool and not a universal brand filter. I checked the ice maker by jumping T-H and it failed. I jumped L-V and no water dispensed. I removed and replaced the ice maker and cycled power to the unit and the ice maker is operating as designed. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling properly. I found the FC at 21 degrees and the RC at 36 degrees. I found all the sealed system components running. I found the compressor loud and very hot. The unit was still charged and while running the low side pressure was at 25 psi indicating an insufficient compressor. I recovered the refrigerant and replaced the compressor. I installed a UV drier and a low side service tap. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum for 20 minutes. I charged the system with 5.00 oz’s of R134A. I tested the unit and it is working as designed. While testing I found the dampener very loud and I replaced it. The dampener is working as designed. Call complete.

I reinserted the ribbon and retested and was able to get the unit into diagnostics and it tested good. Arrived onsite for a washer that displayed an error code and the door won’t unlock. I powered the unit and the drain pump came on and continued to run. I manually unlocked the washer and the drain pump stopped. I found an F3E1 stored error code. I cleared the air trap and tested the unit. The unit works as designed. I advised the customer to get washer cleaner and run the clean washer cycle. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

Customer advised it has been that way since they bought it and they haven’t touched anything to fix it. Attached strike to proper location and tested unit. Strike remained in place. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F5 E2 (door stuck closed) and F2 E1 (UI stuck button). Ran unit through an auto test cycle and unit ran as designed. Explained to customer that if the door does not open, it will not allow the unit to make selections. With us fixing the strike, the unit should be able to open and enter selections and work as designed. Ran a normal cycle to test the unit and unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool in both compartments. Upon further inspection, I found the unit sitting in the breezeway near the front door. When I opened the doors, I found the unit on, all fans functioning and both sections warm. I placed the unit in diagnostics and ran test #4 and the 3-way valve functioned as designed. Also found that the FC defrost bimetal was open. I removed the RC Evap cover and found a lot of mold building up on the fan scroll on side walls. Found the thermistor corroded and the lines to the evaporator corroded. I advised the customer of my findings and advised the unit would need a sealed system repair along with a few other parts replaced. Sealed system components covered under warranty. I am ordering the compressor, dryer, access valve, both evaporators, FC bimetal harness, RC thermistor, RC fan scroll, 3-way valve, CNOTE-2HR JOB, CNOTE-OFFICE TO RESCHEDULE.
