The customer advised that the unit seems to not stop filling and that she is having to shut off the water at the wall in order to get the unit to stop filling with water. I ran it through diagnostics and found an F8 E3 (overflow condition) error code. I ran the unit through a diagnostic test and found that after the unit was supposed to stop filling, the cold water valve would not shut off, even when removing the connector from the cold water valve. Tested unit and confirmed that when unit is reversing direction on agitation, you can hear a consistent clicking sound coming from the lower end. Sound goes with whiplash / clacking. Sound is consistent and happens with direct drive units often. I called tech line for recommendations for quieting the noise down. SR7739795714. Tech line wanted me to replace the slider. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with ice build up on freezer back wall. Upon further inspection, I found a large amount of frost/ice built up on the freezer (FC) evap cover (photo). I was able to gain access to the evaporator by removing some of the ice from the cover. Once I gained access to the evaporator, I found a large amount of ice/frost on the evap. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the defrost thermistor and found it open. I tested the defrost element and it immediately began to heat and melt the ice/frost. Using my steamer, I removed the ice from the defrost thermistor and found it out of place and tested it. I found it out of kohms range showing its too warm inside which is why the unit continues to cool creating the ice formations. I removed and the thermistor and removed most of the remaining ice and reassembled. I left the unit unplugged to allow it to defrost and advised property maintenance to check unit and plug it in with 24 hours and had customer sign the waiver of damages when defrosting refrigerator. The customer stated they changed the filter and it wouldnt dispense anything so they put the old filter back in. I removed the filter and had great pressure. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling correctly and the icemaker is freezing up. There was no water connection to the refrigerator but the customer must have poured ice in the bin that melted and clumped together. I removed the bin and removed the ice. I found ice build up at the bottom of the evaporator cover. I found the RC Evap thermistor reading .987 kohms at the control and the UI control was showing the evaporator at 105 degrees with the thermistor incased in ice. I removed all the ice and replaced the evaporator cover. I tested the new thermistor and it was reading 69 degrees and was correct. I tested the fan and it works correctly now. I found the right side RC gasket ripped and it will need to be replaced. Ordering W10917313 gasket. RS for Wed 9/4/2024. INSTALLED W11395558 COVER EVAP.; ordrng 1 W10917313 (Gasket)

I found the ice maker with an E2 error and it did cycle without loosing position. There were a few cubes from the prior service that had expectedly shrunk down due to sublimation and appeared to only be the single harvest. I found the fill tube for the ice maker was frozen again and the customer had several cans of a non-sugar sweetened soda, freeze. I found the RC thermistor 6.05K at 43.3F and on a non-linear scale, calculated from MFG thermistor data, I found the thermistor 25% out of tolerance, causing the over-cooling. Arrived onsite for oven door not closing properly. Customer stated felt resistance while closing the door. Notified customer that the hinges are spring loaded and will have some resistance. Tested and unit is functioning properly. Normal resistance due to hinge springs. Job complete. No parts used.

Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher with standing water in sump between cycles. Upon initial inspection I found that the drain hose to the dishwasher was not installed properly (without high loop) and also an RO system line is in conjunction with the dishwasher drain hose. In this configuration it can lead to a high probability of back flow into the dishwasher. I installed the drain hose correctly and placed the unit into diagnostics. I did not observe any error codes. I ran a test cycle on the unit and the test cycle went through without any issues. I advised the customer of my findings and that the unit is operating as designed. No parts installed no water leaks observed during service.

Arrived on site to inspect microwave turning on as soon as closing the door. Upon further inspection I found that the just the turntable was activating as soon as I closed the door. I found that the control was bad with a stuck relay. I also notice that the interlocks were not making good contact either the strike. I replaced the interlock as they could cause a separate issue in the future. I replaced the control. I tested the unit and the unit is operating as designed. W11552018 W11551558 W11551761

"Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Upon arrival, the customer advised that the performed a cleaning cycle on the unit and performed a wash cycle and it appears to be operating properly. I placed the unit in diagnostics and found the UI is still missing digits. Continued with testing and found no suds inside and the unit completed the testing cycle. Due to the UI failure and float switch issues found before, I removed and replaced the float switch and control panel/UI assembly and retested and unit is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice dispenser leaking water. Upon further inspection, the tenant advised that when they close the FC door, water drips from the dispenser area. I checked the ice bin and found it full of ice and clumped at the front of the bin. I dispensed some of the ice and found water dripping from the ice dispenser. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit unplugged and plugged it in and placed it in diagnostics. Tested the compressor and condenser fan and found them on. I took the unit out of diagnostics and allowed the unit to begin to cool. I found the FC evaporator not getting a frost pattern past the bottom three coils (photo). I checked the compressor and found it on, but not pumping. I am ordering the compressor, UV dye drier, access valve, R600, NITROGEN, CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB and office to schedule return service. Unit left unplugged for safety and no water leaks observed during service. Checked icemaker mold,no water or ice in icemaker,checked temperature in icemaker compartment reading 7 and slowly dropping,ran diagnostics,freezer fan powered on,ran optics passed,ran ice box fan passed,E5 error code ran fill test failed. "Arrived on site for a wall oven. That is tripping the breaker. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advise that he has just moved in and that whenever they want to use either oven, the wall oven with tripped a breaker within five minutes during pre-heat. I tested the unit and confirmed the customers complaint. The customer has a double wall oven that is about 6 inches off the ground inside the cabinet. I did explain to the customer that because of the installation, I would not be able to pull the unit out without potentially causing damage to the front cabinet. I explain to the customer that they would need to make the unit accessible prior to service. The customer called his contractor and we discussed the matter. He asked if switching the oven over to a standard breaker would solve the issue which I explained it most likely would. The contractor stated that instead of having the unit pulled out and put back in, it would be cheaper for him just to replace the breaker to a standard breaker instead. We advised not to worry about any further repair at this time. Call complete. No parts were installed."

Arrived on site for a dishwasher that has rust on the outer door. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaints and went to replace the door. I found that the door sent with me was the inner door not the outer door. Ordering the correct door and rescheduled the customer to 9/4. No parts were installed.; ordrng 1 W11416371 (Door)

"Arrived on site for a washing machine. That is not spitting out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off balance load) error code. I ran the unit through a diagnostic test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I checked the suspension and found the suspension was good. I did find that the flooring was wood, and when the unit was spinning, I could feel the whole floor vibrating. I called Whirlpool tech line and spoke to Jake SR# 7739786521. He advised that if the unit was empty and spinning, caused the floor to shake, the flooring would be exacerbating the off-balance issue. He advised that the customer should move this washer to a concrete style flooring to ensure that the unit does not go to far off balance. However, if not possible, he advised that off-balance loads may be more prevalent due to the flooring. Advice to make no repair at this time. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on-site for range tripping breaker when oven is used. On arrival verified power supply was 246(L1-L2), 123(L1-N), 123(Lw-n), and 0(g-n). Found amp draw was 10-14amps to both elements and resistance was 22.3ohms(bake), and 16.4ohms(broil). Heated oven to 500degree on bake and instructed customer to allow unit for a combined total of two hrs from time of start up of oven on arrival. Found oven is working as designed"

Arrived onsite for Ice Machine not producing ice. On inspection the water stream was very weak. Gain access to the valve and found that it the motor was very hot to the touch. Installed a new inlet valve and now the stream is normal. The unit made a slab during service that was normal size. The Ice Machine is operating as design and no water leaks detected during service. "Arrived on site to test unit for leak. Upon arrival customer stated when they were trying to install the filter they left that water on, when taking old filter off water started spraying. They installed the new filter, 3 days later a major leak appears in from the unit. RC compartment flooded and leaked water out. They immediately shut the water off and made a service call. Upon inspection found no visible damage or leaks. Turned valve on and tested all components, while running water dispenser no leak appeared. Also while running ice maker fill no leak was found. All tubing looked in good shape with no punctures. Removed filter, filter is installed properly and is sealing good. Advised customer to monitor unit, if unit starts leaking again to capture a video of the approximate location so we can further pinpoint where the issue is coming from. At this time unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, no parts installed, job complete."
