Arrived on site for Oven wont heat to temp. Found liner inside oven cavity covering the entire base of the oven blocking all vents. Removed liner and ran three set of temps. Igniter lighting every time on first click. Average temp from three sets was 358. Liner was preventing the igniter from getting a good air to gas mixture to light the flame properly prior to my arrival. Now that liner is removed the oven is heating as designed. Job completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dryer taking too long to dry. Upon further inspection, the customer devised that the unit is not catching lint and they found moisture on the inside of the door and on the top of the door. When I opened the door, I found lint sitting on the edge of the front panel at the opening and also found a gap in between the door and front panel. Also when I opened the door, the front panel buckled at the bottom right corner of the door. Using my vent tester kit, I tested airflow to the unit and it failed. I recommended that the customer shorten the vent tube at the back of the unit to help with airflow. I am ordering the front panel, bearing seal, inner door, door gasket & high temp adhesive, strike and catch and office to schedule return service. "I arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit would still start and stop as before. I found the customer cleaned the tub as advised, but is still using the same soap that was sudsing the unit up as before. I installed the friction sleeves and new UI. I called techline and spoke to Drew and received SR# 773075907. He agreed that it appears to be customer care for the start and stop, or possibly an OWI or control throwing off the OWI. He advised running the unit again and looking for suds. I found no suds this time. I advised the customer again on soap usage and cleaning the unit however. I installed a new control due to the issue still occurring in case of improper communication with the sensor. I ran the unit in diagnostics again and the issue no longer occurred. The unit is running as designed now. No leaks observed at the time of service.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not dispensing water or making ice. Upon arrival found unit filter was bad. Removed filter and found unit dispensing freely. Customer had another filter onsite put new filter in and proceeded to test. Unit is now operating as designed. Job Completed.

Arrived on job for complaints leaks when using steam. Called tech line and they said the customer should use a bigger load to soak up the water.

Arrived on site for a dishwasher with a visibly broken heating element. Upon further inspection the element was broken in half. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F6E2 for fill valve electrical problem and F7E1 for not heat. I checked voltage to the fill valve and found 120V at the control. I ohmd out the valve and and harness and found it at 1.5K ohms which is in range. I found valve and control to be good. Upon further inspection I found the dispenser physicals broken. The customer only wanted the heating element replaced. I installed the new element and then ran a test cycle in diagnostics and monitored amp draw. I found heater drawing proper amperage and the unit now working as designed. No leak observed at the time of service.

Tested all thermistors and all tested fine, checked temperature record for the freezer in the last six hours and found that the lowest temp was -20, highest was 66 and the average was 0. Checked drain tube and the drain tube was clear, checked defrost and defrost tested fine as well, put unit back into global defrost mode. I ohmd out the thermostat, the mag, and cap. All ohmd out good, but the fuse ohmd out open. The control looked in good shape and so does the harness. I took the mag out and inspected the antenna and wave guide and found it good. I found the transformer and fuse needing replacement.

Arrived onsite for washer with F8E1 error. Upon inspection I found the unit did not drain after last wash and customer had to drain manually. I attempted to engage the drain pump through diagnostics and found no response. I ohmd out the drain pump and found it out of range I replaced the pump and tested but still no action. I replaced the control and now the unit is draining and working as designed. As I replaced the pump I found a good amount of gear case oil spread around the inner wall and on the rotor. The unit also need the gearcase replaced. Arrived on site for refrigerator still not making ice properly. Upon arrival I found in the ice bin that the ice was functioning as designed didnt see any abnormalities with ice shapes. Mrs stated she thought ice was starting to work perfectly this morning before my arrival but mr says it still hasnt been. I called whirlpool techline and went over as much previously done work as I could and after reviewing with Joel Sr#7730762874 he stated that at this time the ice build up on side of door is typical and that with ice acting as it is know that they dont want us to proceed with any repairs. Also found while on site that customers have a carbon based filtration system and that their psi on to property is around 90 psi but per customer they are claiming their plumber checked it directly at house and it drops from 90 to around 50-60 psi. I documented all of this with whirlpool. They say to leave unit as is and no further repairs should be done at this time. I did however go around and add on a pexline with regulator due to psi levels customer stated was going into home. No issues or leaks during repairs. Also replaced cracked shelf and checked on light customer stated wasnt working customer claimed they had found food item blocking light and during repair found no problems with any lights in fresh food or freezer compartment. call complete

Arrived on site for refrigerator not making ice. Upon arrival I inspected icemaker and found unit was only receiving 88 out of the 120 volts needed from harness. I then spoke with Sterling sr#7730765014 at whirlpool techline. After further testing we found that the door switch is only partially allowing power into the optical sensors. We also found after further testing that the inlet valve is not opening allowing water to enter ice maker. He recommended we return with new freezer door switch as well as the optics just in case anything should change between diagnostics and repair. We will need to replace door switch and valve on return then verify optics are still functioning again. O; ordrng 1 W11457217 (Switch freezer door)

Arrived onsite for ice maker still not making enough ice. Upon inspection I found the inlet valve not letting enough water enter the reservoir. And the unit is taking too long to fill. I replaced the inlet valve and tested the unit. I found a major difference in the flow rate of the new valve. The unit is cycling much faster I also found a patch of dust and hair stuck to the condenser coil. I advised the Customer to monitor ice production over the weekend. No leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for Broken front glass. Replaced glass and name tag test unit and unit test good job complete.

Arrived on site for a wall oven door catching top left corner of the frame. Upon further inspection I found the left side frame bent and actually causing the lower and upper door to slide agains the frame. This was making it hard to close the door and scratching the inner door. I called techline and spoke to Sterling and received SR# 7730762125.

Arrived onsite for microwave that looks damaged or there is a problem with the wrap. I found the right side of the wrap slightly bowed allowing the white frame to show through. I did not see any dents or damage to the wrap. I adjusted the control and that side of the wrap. The gap has closed and the wrap within tolerance for the unit. It was most likely bowed due to the canister shape or installation. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not cooling. Upon arrival I found out the unit is over cooling not under cooling. I found food in the RC deli drawers freezing. I tested temps and found the RC=30 and FC=5 I ran diagnostics and found the damper opening and closing in diagnostics. I found that the whole time onsite the FC fan did not turn off and the damper stayed open to cool the RC. Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. I installed both interlocks and tested the unit. The unit blew the filter fuse as soon as I tried to heat a glass of water. I accessed and found the diode connected to the common terminal of the capacitor. I connected the diode to the correct position on the line terminal and re tested the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose continuation of original issue of grinding sound from water line when dispensing water, replaced the valve and unit is functioning as designed, instructed customer that if the problem persists they are going to need a water line reducer for the unit to correct the issue. Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed part. Inspected unit and work area. Replaced fabric softener dispenser and tested the unit. Found the fabric softener dispenser filling with water and no leaks present. Advise customer to run several loads to ensure everything is running properly. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for handle having fallen off. Upon arrival found door loosely Together hinge screws loose as well as rest of the door. Tighten screws replaced handle and screws. Put door back into place and test. Found it operating as designed. Job Completed.
