"arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not heating. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. I placed my multimeter around the black wire at the junction box to test amp draw from the components. I advanced the unit to the heating cycle of wash and then dry and got 0amps. I inspected the element and found a burnt spot on the back left portion of the element I removed and replaced the element and retested and the unit is operating as designed with element showing 7-9amps. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I contacted Techline and spoke to TJ and advised him of the history of this unit. TJ had me check voltage from points L-N on the ice maker and I got 124V. TJ advised to jump the IM from points T-H and check the heater under the IM. The heater failed to come on. TJ advised to replace the ice maker and see if it functioned. I removed and replaced the ice maker and it harvested and dispensed water into the tray. I advised that the most recent IM did the same thing last time. TJ advised that should this IM fail to order another and put due to customer complaint on the order so that it can be researched. He provided File #7727505945. I advised the customer of techlines recommendations and advised to give the ice maker until tomorrow to make ice. If it fails, contact our office. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"arrived on site to inspect range oven leaking gas. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that they can smell gas and see a haze while using the Bake function of the oven. I tested the unit on Bake at 350 degrees and removed the bottom panel to inspect the flame. The unit heated as designed, but I could not smell any excess gas. I inspected the where the burner connects at the venture and it was good. I removed the back panel and using my liquid gas leak detector, I checked all gas line connections and gas lines for any leaks and found none. I checked the gas line connection at the wall as well and it was good. I tested the unit on Bake at 400 degrees since this is when the customer could smell the gas and still, no gas leaks. I advised the customer, whom was watching the entire time, of my findings. No mechanical repairs needed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

"arrived on site to to inspect range oven temps. Upon further inspection, when I went to test temps in the oven, I found that the burner doesn’t ignite and the Ignitor is functioning. I removed the broiler drawer and found that the burner wasn’t attached to the Ventura and gas was flowing freely. Also found where the back panel where the regulator attaches was badly damaged/dented and the right side panel was bad dented at the bottom. I was able to get the back panel to straighten and I attached the burner t the Ventura and retested and the unit operated as designed. The customer contacted their installer to get a receipt to show when the unit was actually installed to cover the cost of the side panel. I advised the customer that cosmetic damage repair is only good for 30 days. "arrived on site to inspect refrigerator frost build up. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=4 degrees and RC=38 degrees. I found a small amount of ice built up on the evaporator cover. I removed the cover and found a small amount of ice built up inside the ice maker fan which was rubbing on the ice and making a humming noise. Looking at the Evap cover gaskets, I found that they were worn and allowing warmer air into the evaporator area causing the ice build up. I tested the defrost heater and it is good. I removed and replaced the cover and tested. Both fans came on immediately after plugging them in and the airflow was good. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

"Arrived onsite for a dishwasher to replace previous diagnosed parts. I found the UI not responding at all and had correct voltage to the unit. After checking voltages at the UI I called Bosch techline and was instructed to check voltage at the UI on the two outside wires from the main control. I tested voltage and had 7VDC. Techline stated it’s should be 13VDC. I tested the same two wires at the main control from 11-1 to 11-3 and still had 7VDC. I explained to techline that the main control had just been replaced and it was determined that the UI or the dispenser is taking out the main control. I was advised to replace all 3 at the same time because there is no way to test the UI or dispenser to determine which is causing the main control to fail. "Arrived on site for refrigerator that is making a loud noise. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that this refrigerator has been unplugged for about four days and unit was completely at room temperature. I tested the unit in service diagnostics testing the evaporator fan, condenser fan, air baffle, and compressor and was unable to replicate the issue. I advise the customer that I was unable to test for a defrost issue due to the unit not being cold enough for the bifrost metal to allow electricity to the heater. Customer advised this issue has been intermittent and she has no idea as to what’s causing the issue. I advised her that she may have a defrost issue but to call back if the issue returns and to leave the unit plugged in for at Least 48 hours in advance of a service so we can perform all necessary testing. Arrived on site for range that is not properly. Inspected unit and work area. Placing it in at 350° bake and tested temperatures. Once unit hit 350 on ound unit only getting up to 250°F before the unit would turn the gas off. I checked the cabinet temperature in diagnostics mode and the unit was 100° below the shown temperature. I replaced the oven sensor and tested the unit again. Unit did the same thing. I called tech line and spoke to Joel SR# 7727491284. He had me run several checks and found the unit within range. He had me test the unit again on a bake cycle and the unit worked as designed. He advised he believed the issue was a connection issue at the control. He advised to make no repairs and call complete.
