"Arrived onsite for a washer that got louder, wasn’t spinning out, the belt came off and oil was everywhere. I found the gearcase leaking oil and the shield, cam and belt saturated in oil. The shield screws were stripped. I replaced the gearcase, cam, and belt. I found the motor cooling fan loose and slipping on the shaft. The cooling fan won’t get tight enough until it hits the motor housing. The motor, shield, and screws will need to be replaced. I calibrated the control and tested the unit in auto and manual high speed spin. The motor is making a squeaking noise on high speed spin and I suspect the cooling fan blade is causing this noise. When the unit got to spin mode, I could hear something rubbing underneath at the rotor/stator area. I removed the rotor, stator and clutch and found where the slider was badly rubbing on the clutch. I found some metal shavings on the clutch and slider. Removed and replaced the clutch and retested and the unit continues to rub. Arrived on site for range that would not heat the oven after running diagnostics I found an F9 error code which stated that there was a miss wired or improperly wired system it within the oven somewhere between the outlet and all the way up into the control board in each individual other hardware piece I could not find a miss placed wire or improperly connecting wire the outlet itself was giving 240 V as it should and the terminal block and wiring system more intact both elements pass the continuity test and the thermostat and fuses all past ohm tests. Customer advised that the cooktop hot light was stuck on for a week and would not turn off but turned off yesterday. I remove the top panel and tested all elements. I tried to put the unit into diagnostics and the rinse light stayed on and would not change to anything else I tried cycling the power to reset the control but the rinse stayed lit and the unit wouldn’t let me do anything else. Customer stated that the unit vents hotter during a lower oven cycle than an upper oven cycle and were concerned about the unit burning their grandchildren. I advised that the lower oven cycle would make the vent hotter due to the exhaust being closer to the exhaust plate and the cooling fans pushing out the hot air out of the bottom.
