"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker frozen. Upon further inspection, I checked the ice bin and found no ice. Customer provided photos of the issue in which there is ice at the bottom of the ice bin in between the bin and the ice chute plate, at the bottom left corner of the ice bin door gasket and at the back of the ice chute plate. I contacted techline and spoke to Sterling and advised of the issue. Sterling recommended removing the ice chute plate and inspect the gasket at the bottom the chute. He advised if the gasket is torn up, it is likely allowing warm air to seep into the ice bin and ice is melting creating the issue. He recommended placing some permagum around the ice chute to seal the damaged gasket. I applied some permagum around the ice chute gasket and advised the customer of my repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived for double wall oven that was giving a F8E0 error code. After putting the oven into diagnostics mood I found that there was a second code also showing up that was a F6F for which basically means that the ACU is miscommunicating with the UI. Upon further inspection it became clear that the main acu for the upper oven was causing not only a miscommunication error but was also not probably reading the fan speed from the upper fan motor. I did replace the ACU and then thoroughly retested the oven and was able to get the oven to preheat without any ERROR code showing up the customer stated that the ERROR codes normally showed up within the first two minutes and when I first arrived on site and was testing it their codes did pop up very quickly after the repair I clear the ERROR codes reset the machine and everything is functioning as designed.

Due to the unit screeching loudly during spin cycle and from the recommendations of techline, I removed and replaced the motor, basket & drive block and tested. Unit continued to make the noise. "Arrived on site for ice maker not making ice. Inspected the unit and work area. I ran the ice maker through a harvest test, and a fill test. Both tests ran and passed. I checked the evaporators for any frost build up and found none. I ran a temp test on the freezer and found it at only 27 degrees. I gained access to th evaporator and found the Evaporator covered in ice. I ran a forced defrost and the heater did not come on. I explained to the customer how defrost works with the unit and how the control supplies power to all the components. I quoted the customer for worst case, UI, main control, evap harness, heater. I let the customer know they could call KitchenAid and see if they will offer any assistance. I am order UI W11099702, control W11333076, heater W10882092, harness W11204566, stop pan W10795822.
