"MVW6200KW3 Arrived to inspect non-completion of cycle and loss of rotation. Service test mode had F8E1 and F7E1 stored error codes and I cleared for testing. I found the capacitor with correct capacitance, but the outer shell was questionable and I replaced. The cam assembly was moderately worn and due to the loss of tachometer error, I replaced both the cam assembly and mode shifter. Testing within customer mode revealed the secondary cold valve was flowing at just a trickle and I replaced the housing/valve assembly. I re-calibrated the machine and retested. All functions were present and no leaks were observed during service."

Arrived on site to inspect washer making a grinding sound. Upon initial inspection found a foreign object under the washer. The object cracked the motor shield. The damage extended into the motor assembly and slider. I could not remove the motor due to the rotor being restricted by the object and resulted in the main hub of the rotor to break from the rest (photo). The motor screw and remaining piece of rotor is spinning freely with shaft. I called tech line and informed them of the issue. Reference number provided 7739585954. Whirlpool is review this case. I found pressures hold for 15 minutes. I vacuumed down the unit to -31 psi, and found pressures hold again. I charged the unit up with 68 g of R600 and tested the unit. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is not completing cycles. Inspected the unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit will sometimes work and sometimes not work and will leave water at the bottom of their basket. He advised that he was able to unplug and replug the unit back in and was able to run through cycles in between the two loads that did not complete, but he was unsure as to if there was an issue or not. I found the unit was standing water in it and the unit flashing an F9 E1 (long drain) error code. I tilted the washer back to check underneath and found the unit immediately start draining. I gained access underneath and found one of the wires completely pinched in the drain pump clip for the wire. After removing the wire, I tested the unit on the drain function while wiggling the wire itself all the way around. I found the unit was draining and operating as designed even moving the wires back-and-forth. I advise the customer that the pinched wire may be the only issue, but advised them to run several loads this afternoon to confirm. I called back several hours later and the customer advised run through 2 1/2 wash cycles already without an issue. By the customer call back if any other issues persist. Call complete. "Arrived on site to follow up on range with non functioning front burners. I tested the unit on arrival and found RF would light with a lighter, LF same, but had a very very small flame. I compared the orifices to the chart and found LF had a 68 and not a 117. Used conversion kit to put the right sized orifice in. I adjusted the orifice holders to push the igniters closer to the burner caps, since they were only arcing downwards and not to the cap. Retested with the customer present and verified good ignition and flame on all burners. Unit working as designed - W11620555."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that stopped cooling, stopped making ice, makes a buzzing noise, and the drawer is coming off track. On arrival the refrigerator was at temp in both sections and the icemaker was working properly. I found the upper bin in the FC with the face not staying on. The bin will need to be replaced. The customer stated the entire refrigerator shut off with no lights at all and everything thawed out but a day later it turned back on by itself. She stated about three days later it did it again and she unplugged it then plugged it back in and its been working for about two weeks now with no issues. From what the customer is saying the refrigerator is doing, the most likely failure is a low voltage DC load or supply erratic failure so all the components would need to be replaced to guarantee a good repair without seeing it happen. "Arrived on site for a dryer that has burn marks on the inner vent box inside the drum. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that it may be normal, but they were unsure as to whether the heater vent box would discolor after such a small period of time. I did explain to the customer that it is normal for the vet to discolor due to the heat being produced by the element and lint and moisture that flows within the unit. I tested the dryer and took a temperature test of the unit. I found the unit fluctuating between 120?F and 169?F, averaging a temperature of 145?F on a high heat cycle. I tested the unit on other cycles and found them within range. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke to Rob SR# 77395799136. He had me send him a photo of the vent, and after review, advise if that is normal, wear and tear on the dryer. He advised not to make any repairs at this time as the unit is working and operating as designed. Advised this point, it is just a cosmetic issue and not to be worried about. Call complete. Examined HV system and found the unit was super saturated with oil, this was causing the transformer wire to arc through its sheath to the diode. I replaced the diode and relocated the transformer wire to prevent issue from reoccurring. Customer strongly advised to cover items on the cooktop to minimize oil in the microwave. Unit now working as designed. Parts used - W11256462."

"WED4850HW0 Arrived to inspect continuous running. I found line VAC to the timer motor and upon inspection, one of the connectors had been pressed out of place, stopping circuit continuity. The connector was able to be pressed back in place and the plug then fully seated. The unit operated as designed and I verified the timer motor fully operational."

"WRF757SDHZ04 Arrived to inspect ice production issues. The FC was 0 and the RC 35. The ice mold had minimal slivers of cubes and error E5, which is common with incorrect filling and airflow issues. Inspection of the housing reveled the back of the housing was significantly gapped from the back, inner wall of the RC chamber, and I corrected via re-positioning the housing. The front would not contact the ice bin gasket as designed and I found the left lower hinge had been bent, and corrected. Further testing reveled all functions were present and the ice maker operated and filled as expected. No leaks observed during service."

"WDT750SAKZ2 Arrived to inspect leak. The unit was leaking from the front left corner and the customer had to place a small towel under the door corner to catch the water. Service test mode had F10E2 and I cleared for testing. Service mode test reveled the tub leaking from the upper left, rear seam. The tub appears to have been mis-formed and as the spray arm rotated the water jet to that position, water would escape to the outside of the tub. Office to order tub. Water to unit shut off and no leaks of the supply or drain we observed during service. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, the customer advised the unit isnt making ice properly and the freezer isnt cooling properly. I found a few cubes in the ice bin and customer advised they were from approximately 36 hours ago. I found the FC section cool but not cold/freezing temps. I pulled the unit out and gained access to the sealed system components and placed my gauges on the previous sealed system repair. Placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the system in test 4. In subtest 4 my readings were -20/115 and subtest 5 was 0/148 telling me the system is sealed and no leaks. The compressor was hot to touch and I did not hear any refrigerant cycling through the system when the 3 way valve switched from the RC to the FC, but I could hear the compressor being loud and making a gurgling noise as if there was water or a liquid running/dripping inside. Based off my findings, it appears the compressor is not pumping properly and will need to be replaced. I contacted techline and spoke to Nate and advised of the history, my findings and my recommendations for repairs. Nate agreed with the repairs and provided SR#7739579873. I am ordering the compressor, both evaporators, NITROGEN, access valve, UV dye drier, 3 way valve, CNOTE-3 HOUR JOB and office to schedule return service. Returning tech to replace all parts ordered for sealed system repair and clear the system with NITROGEN before vacuuming the system. The vacuum will need to be a long vacuum. On arrival verified complaint of not washing and not draining. Ran test cycle and found no error codes. Ran component activation and found all of them work. Put spray arms straight front to back and confirmed movement of the spray arms. Dispenser is working. Advised proper use and care as well as seen rinse aid is empty. "Arrived on site to inspect noisy refrigerator. Upon further inspection found the condenser fan being the source of the noise. Made a temporary adjustment by filing down the fan bracket. Reduced noise. I can see that fan bracket is warped allowing blade to touch. The fan blade itself has also become out of balance from hitting. I am ordering condenser fan blade and fan bracket. W11438498. W11193484. I recommend replacing the condenser fan motor as well on return visit, due to shaft possibly becoming bent from hitting. No water leaks observed during service. Arrived on site to install previously ordered part. I proceeded to adjust and shape the molding around the RC section as a starting point. I checked the seal with the gasket and it was improved. I further shaped and sealed the gaps around the molding. I applied sealant further and lastly leveled the unit and checked for air leaks. Gasket is making a complete seal at all points. WP482338

Arrived on site to test unit for front center burner continues to spark after ignition. Test unit and found igniter sparking after ignition. Removed from console to get to the switch harness. Secured harness correctly for that valve and test burner again and ignition stops after burner ignites. NO PARTS USED.

Arrived on site to test unit for unit not starting when hitting the start button. Test unit and unit started after hitting start button. Turned unit back off. And starting unit again and unit started right away. Checked control board to make sure it was sitting correctly and board test good. Maintenance was saying they had to hit the start button 4 times to get it started. Started unit again to test and unit started right away job complete. NO PARTS USED.

Arrived on site for a microwave that has a broken broil support. Inspected unit and work area. I did confirm the customers complaint and found the support broken. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance/vibrating excessively. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that when he first bought the unit, he had issues with the unit shaking violently. He advised that is no longer an issue. He did state that he is having a problem with certain loads not getting enough water when running. He advised that the loads will go through but sometimes he has soap still in his clothes. I ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. I ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working and operating as designed. I asked the customer shuffle questions regarding on how he starts cycles. He advised that he typically runs most of his cycles on normal and the auto-sensing water level. I did explain to the customer that the normal wash cycle is typically going to use the least amount of water, and that certain cycle selections based off the cycle selection, will give him more water. I also advised him to use the deep water wash as the deep water wash will allow 25% more water into the unit than using with the auto sensing. The unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. No parts were installed."
