Arrived on site for washer needing a previously diagnose main control after previous visit with techline on site. Upon arrival I was able to install a new main control and then ran a factory reset on the machine afterwords I put the unit into a manual diagnostics check and was able to fill the tub with water halfway full and then ran a high and low agitation test and found the unit functioning with no odd noises and then ran a drain and spin cycle and verify that the unit is no longer making any odd screeching noises or metal on metal sound. I informed the customer just to notify us if the issue order arise again that way we can call whirlpool techline for further assistance at this point. Arrived on site for dryer not turning on. Upon arrival I found that the unit was getting 240 V to the outlet and the dryer was in fact turning on and heating up as designed. I then spoke with the customer in more detail regarding the situation and she had stated that American home shield had sent out an electrician and a dryer vent cleaning person and that the electrician told her the outlet was fine but the dryer vent cleaning person had informed the customer that she would need a new power cord due to the power cord melting. upon inspection of the power cord I did find that the right side prong of the power cord did have some small amount of melting damage around it and the prong had a tiny burn mark on it. I then looked inside the outlet and found that the right side prong connector inside the outlet itself is also damaged and falling apart and causing some internal melting around the inside of the outlet at this point if we replace the power cord and electrician would have to come out and replace the outlet first to ensure that the new power cord is not gonna run into the same problems as before. American home shield needs to be notified that it would be recommended for an electrician to come out and replace the power cord and outlet at the same time in order to complete repair. Other than finding issues with outlet and power cord I was still able to test the dryer and found that unit is turning on and heating up as designed and as long as an electrician can get out to make the repairs the unit will be ready for use by the customer once done. "Arrived on site to inspect washer no power. Upon further inspection, I found the unit plugged in. I pressed all keys on the console and the unit only beeped after every press. I unplugged the unit for approximately 1 minute then plugged it back in and attempted to place in diagnostics. Unit went into diagnostics and I checked error codes and found F0E5 & F0E3. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed until it got to,the spin cycle and it failed to spin and was making a rubbing noise at the rotor. Unit agitated as designed. I tilted the unit back and inspected underneath and found gearcase oil on the rotor, drain pump and all panels. I removed the rotor and found a large amount of gearcase oil on the inner side of the rotor. When I went to place the unit back in diagnostics, the unit failed. I cycled power to the unit and was able to get it into diagnostics. Checked error codes and got F6E3. Cleared the code and tested high speed spin in manual test mode. Unit operated fine, but continued to make the rubbing noise at the beginning the spin. I am ordering the gearcase, slider, clutch, rotor and will return with the main control. No water leaks observed during service, office to schedule return service. "Arrived on site for a dryer that is still having issues starting. Inspected unit and work area. Remove terminal block cover and tested voltage going across all terminals while the unit was not calling for electricity. I found proper voltage between all legs when the unit did not call for electricity. As soon as I cycled the unit to a time dry high heat cycle and started pressing start voltage went from 123V to 50.1V until the drum and motor were at maximum speed, the voltage jumped right back up to 123V. I called Techline and spoke to Steve SR# 7730625255. He advised that based on the findings and prior motor replacement, the issue still had to be an electrical supply issue. He advised that most of the problem with the electricians they send out, is that they only test the unit when it?s not under a load. He advised that most likely the issue was with a bad voltage line. The customer had me speak to the manager of the property and explained everything tech line went over with her. She is going to have another electrician come out to test the unit while the unit is under a load to verify that there is a line voltage issue. Call complete."

How ever customer said that the unit has to be tricked to start filling with ice once it gets low. Asked them to monitor it and to take videos when possible to see the issue better. No issues at this time.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator. Upon further inspection, at the previous service call, I found a large block of ice on the RC evaporator. Customer unplugged the unit and allowed to defrost before I returned today. I found the RC evaporator drip pan was badly warped and the evap harness thermistor was blackened. I removed and replaced the evap motor harness and secured the thermistor on the suction line with foil tape and ziptie. Removed and replaced the evaporator drip pan kit. Using the clamps and zipties provided in the kit, I secured the evaporator to the back wall and sealed off the gap at the top of the evaporator housing with permagum that was provided in the kit. Reassembled the unit and tested and unit is operating as designed.

"Arrived on site for dryer allowing hot air to escape during dry cycles. Upon arrival I found door seals were functioning as designed and had no damage. Also found during dry cycle (timed dry, high heat) that unit was getting an average temp around 157 degrees. I then found lint shooting out through vent hose connected to exhaust that runs through insulation of home. I then found that behind connections of vent hose there was a hole in venting allowing for air to escape. I repaired the vent hose and retested unit multi times on highest heat settings during time dry. Found unit is functioning as designed and laundry room is no longer getting hot from escaping air. Arrived on site for refrigerator not cooling proper and causing ice build up in the flooring of freezer compartment. Upon arrival I found unit temps were around 48 in freezer and 60in fresh food side. I found ice in freezer was from a clogged drain line. Also found drain line attached to unit is a generic rubber hose not designed to be used as a drain line and was insulated in with a foam can making it extremely hard to be replaced or removed. Also found evap fan motor had been receiving 120 v but was not running even with proper power being supplied.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator losing cool. Upon inspection I found the unit cooling and the RC at 34 with the FC at -2. I could not see any visible blockages or issues with the door seal. I tested door switches they are working as designed. I accessed the evaporator and found a block of ice had formed on the right side going all the way down the evaporator completely blocking the return vent. I cleared out all the ice and restored power to the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose washer making loud squealing noise during cycle, upon arriving on site customer informed us that sometimes but not all the time the unit makes a loud noise during the cycle. Checked underneath the unit for any sign of gearcase oil or shavings, found none. Checked under the belt and found markings identifying that the belt might be slipping causing the noise, replaced belt and ran unit through diagnostics, unit tested fine, filled unit with water and did an agitation test at high fill, tested fine, drained the unit then tested low and high spin, found unit operated as designed. Unit is operating as designed, informed customer if the problem persists after the belt replacement to contact the office for return service on brochure. Job complete."

Arrived on site for a cooktop that had yellow flames and flames that were to tall. I found the yellow in the flames to be normal and most likely due to the construction in the area. Upon further inspection I found back left orifice needing adjustment and causing the flame to be significantly off. I uninstalled the orifice and reinstalled it. The flame is no longer abnormal. He stated this had cause the IM in the freezer to stop at first. He then correct the door, the FC started working, but the upper IM stopped working. They had another company come out and service the unit and they replaced the IM, but it did nothing. I checked the temps in the unit and found the FC at 6?F, the RC at 37?F, and the ice box at 15?F after being opened for a while. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and the ice level sensor was accurate, the ice box fan turned on, the IM harvested, but the IM got no water when called for. I harvest the IM and it ran through as designed. The IM also had an E5 error code for IM in frozen state for to long. I gained access to the valve and removed the line. I tested the valve again with a cup and found the valve working. This indicates a frozen fill tube. I thawed out the fill tube and replaced the IM due to the error code. I then tested the fill and harvest and it ran through as designed. Unit is working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher not draining. Ran unit and found standing water. After running I can feel the pump humming, but no water being moved. Replaced drain pump and retested. Verified unit is draining properly with no water leaks found. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for refrigerator with no interior lights and no water or ice at the dispenser. I found the FC= - 2 RC=38 I found the drain pan warped and the bottom of the RC full of water. I checked and found 2 of the wires in the pantry harness were broken. I disconnected the pantry UI and the interior lights restored as well as the water/ice dispenser. I am quoting for the pantry UI control, pantry harness and drip pan(W11457241) for repair. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator leaking water. Inspected unit and work area. Found unit leaking water at filter housing. Tested operation and found failed filter housing. Customer requested to change filter with housing. Removed failed filter housing and filter, installed new. Tested operation and found bad connection to inlet valve. Corrected connection and tested again. All tested good, no water leaks detected.

Arrived onsite and found one lead of wiring to the drain pump had worn and only provided intermittent continuity. During my exploration of the continuity issue the wire snapped at the drain clip. Reset clip and stubbed new length of wire in place of the broken wire. Unit is now operating as designed. Advised customer on findings and repair.

"Arrived on site for ice build up in freezer. Found ice in freezer on left side of wall and on packages,checked door seal good gasket sealing to cabinet correctly,added adhesive to large gaps between liner and cabinet. Cleared out ice checked door seal good."

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop error code. Upon further inspection, I found the unit showing the F47 error code on the right side. Customer advised that the left burners are working. I had the customer sign the waiver of damages when removing glass cooktop then disassembled the unit. I found the relay for the large burner was damaged. I removed and replaced the module and tested the unit and it is operating as designed. Job completed"

Arrived on site to test unit for not drying and not washing correctly. Found error code f7e1(no heat). Also found soap build up in sump. Cleared error and ran diagnostics. Heater engaged as designed. Found customer has water softener. Advised customer on use of rinse aid and soap amount due to softener. Also advised of purging cold water at sink prior to using dishwasher. No leaks detected. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for microwave filling with smoke. Upon arrival inspected for burns and scorch marks, found none. Tested unit and heater water without fault. Customer explained happened while cooking bacon. Tested unit and what the customer experienced was stem from the bacon cooking. Notified the customer that this unit operates different than the previous. Unit was set to max power so cooking time will be different. Customer adjusted power. Expressed customer should familiarize herself with the use and care manual. Unit is functioning properly."

Arrived on job to replace previously diagnosed parts. After replacement of magnetron I found the thermostat damaged and transformer damaged too.m; ordrng 1 8205652 (THERMOSTAT ) and 1 W10871219 (transformr)

Arrived on site for washer not agitating . Found actuator had slipped out of cam lever . Replaced actuator . All checked normal after calibration and diagnostics wash. No water leaks detected at time of service. Job complete.

Arrived on site to test unit for dishwasher not cleaning correctly. Test unit and found unit getting plenty of water and unit spraying and draining correctly. Found water to be cold not 120?. Advised customer to run hot water before turning unit on job complete.

"Arrived on site for sealed system repair. I gained access to the dryer and punctured it I found full pressure in the system. I installed a new compressor, uv dryer and access valve. I pulled a vacuum and found it holding. I put a measured charge into the system and found the pressures holding and the unit cooling properly. Job complete."
