RANGE KITCHENAID KFGD500ESS04 Arrived onsite for range with un even cooking. I began the AVG temperature testing process and gave techline a call. He advised me to use the weighted coupler technique to take the average. In the top oven the average was about 20 degrees below set temp and in the bottom the average is about 20 degrees above the manufacturer allows a 30 degree difference in temps high or low. I noticed the flame spreader was slightly warped on one side so I manipulated it back into correct position. I explained to the customer the different cooking results with different pan material. Techline also advised me that the airflow slightly favors one side so rotating your cooking tray can help with the issue. SR#7728693625. Job complete.

RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFG505M0BS3 Arrived onsite for range with center burner that wont ignite. Upon inspection I found the center burner ignitor not sparking. I accessed the spark module and all connectors were seated and secure. I pulled the ignitor wire and found a small cut in the wire. I reassembled the unit and retested. I found the center ignitor now intermittently igniting. Will need a new ignitor wire. Im ordering a ignitor the ignitor wire and spark module just Incase for repair. Upon arrival first check power to the outlet to ensure that it was getting the proper 240 V. I am mediately found that the 4 prong dryer outlet itself was in fact only receiving between 40 and 65 V. After inspecting the breaker I found that the Double breaker to the dryer was stuck in the tripped position and when attempting to turn the breaker on or off the breaker it would not move. Instructed the tenants of the home that we would contact the owners and inform them that they do need an electrician to repair the breaker box and after that the dryer should function as designed call complete."

Upon further inspection of the unit I found that the two evaporator fans on the inside of the unit were running as designed the condenser fan motor is also functioning and the compressor was currently on and receiving the proper 120 V. After removing all of the shelving from the inside of the white cooler and removing the back cover I checked the evaporator coil and found that it was completely dry and warm even with the compressor active. DRYER WHIRLPOOL NED4655EW1 Arrived on site for dryer creating a burning smell when used. After further inspection of the dryer I found the after about 10 to 15 minutes running you could smell a faint hint of burning plastic from behind the dryer. I disassembled the back panel of the dryer and found that one of the wires going to the heating element was gently rubbing up against the heating element shroud due to how much slack was in the wire and Would start occasionally creating a burning smell because of how close design for short distance it was to the heat I repaired burnt wiring and repositioned the wire out of place of the heating element to allow prevention of further damage.

I powered on the unit and monitored for pressures in the low and high side. Pressure looks good. Unit is cooling down. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the unit to completely cool down. Job complete. Condenser fan, evaporator fans, and air baffles were all working. Customer had refrigerator doors open due to pulling out all of his refrigerated items. Customer stated that the refrigerator section is consistently sitting around 47°. Tested freezer temperature and found unit at 12°F. I called tech line and spoke to JK SR# 7728699125. He advised that putting permit, underneath the drain pan does not work anymore and is registered in a service pointer. He advised that the drip pan would need to be replaced in order to allow proper airflow. Replaced drip pan with truck stock and tested unit. Unit is starting to cool. Advise customer to give the unit 48 to 72 hours to go down to proper temperatures."

Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the water filter is dispensing gray water and theyve had to replace the filter several times. I found the replace filter light on at the display. Customer advised they just replaced the filter a few weeks ago. I pressed Max Cool & Max Ice to clear the light as Rihanna placed the unit in diagnostics to check the remaining days in test 101. The display showed 80 days. I inspected the filter and it looked good as did the filter head. I recommended to the customer to monitor the unit and if the light comes on again within the 80 days to call and schedule service. No repairs needed at this time. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I pressed the cancel button to engage the drain pump and I could hear that it wasnt operating properly. I pulled the unit from the cabinet and removed the drain pump,and found one of the empellars was broken off and the chopper blade was missing. I found the chopper blade broken into 3 pieces and sitting inside the sump. Using my wet vac, I vacuumed the drain hose that is coming out of the drain pump and found the remaining piece to the chopper blade inside the hose. Also found a black rubber piece of ink own origin. I am ordering the sump/motor assembly, drain pump, water inlet assembly, and CNOTE-2 HOUR JOB. Office to schedule return service due to parts being OOS and scheduling for 2 hour job. WASHER WHIRLPOOL MVWC500VW1 "Arrived on site for washer leaking.After running 6 tests on the unit back to back and watching it fill the tub up completely and agitating and then draining I could not find any type of leak coming from the pump, over filling in the tub, The water inlet valve or from any other area of the machine. I did however notice that the process of running it there was water leaking from the closet just to the left side of the washer that had two water heaters in it and the water is coming from underneath the platforms at the water heaters are mounted on in the front right corner as soon as you walk into the closet door itself. I informed the customer that he was going to need to get a plumber under that platform in order to verify what is causing it to leak whenever the washer runs it is obvious that it leaks in one of the only when the washer is in use but the leak itself is not actually coming from the washer. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4950XW1 "Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F7E5. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Unit operated as designed until it got to the agitation and spin tests and while attempting to agitate, the entire basket would spin. I tested the unit at the main control and all tested good. When I tilted the unit back I find where the gearcase had leaked oil and the cam was jammed into the gearcase to where the actuator could not shift between agitate and spin. I advised the customer of my findings. While in the process of repairing the unit, I found the gearcase shaft was seized to the basket and while attempting to get the gearcase out, the drain pump broke. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
