"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher MDB4949SKZ3 error codes. Upon further inspection, I found the panel display showing error code F8E4-water leak. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error codes F9E2-drain pump electrical problem, F8E4-water leak, and FAE2 (F10E2)-wax motor electrical problem. I cleared the codes and continued with testing. I removed the toeplate to gain access to the drip pan and float switch and found a large amount of water and old detergent in the pan. I removed the float from the pan and cleaned the pan. While testing, I began to see water dripping from the left overflow protection funnel and from the overflow drain tube. Once testing was done, I pulled the unit out and traced the water leak to the upper rack left rollers mounting screws missing; one on the front roller and one on the back rollers. Also, I found water damage to the inner and outer wall of the left cabinet and some water stains on the floor underneath the unit. I advised the customer of my findings and took photos of the damage in SDQUICKPIC. The unit completed diagnostics. I checked the connection to the drain pump and it was secured. I am ordering the mounting screws, and vent assembly and will return with all prescreened parts. I unplugged the unit for safety reasons. I cleaned the water from the floor that had leaked during testing. Office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. "Arrived on site to follow up freezer making clumpy ice in freezer JBZFL24IGX10. Found same issue repeating. I cut an 1/8 inch slit in the fill tube spout housing at all 4 screw holes, and moved the housing forward 1/8 inch to keep the fill tube away from the end of the mold. This appears to have resolved the issue. I called tech line, Case 22654995. Tech line notified me that engineering is aware of dripping / splash related issues and there is not a permanent fix at this time. Engineer guidance is to remove the water filter, and add silicone grease on the moving parts of the icemaker to make sure they dont get frozen by fills. Unit is not experiencing that exact issue, and moving the fill tube should resolve. No other repairs recommended at this time, advised customer to check back at a later time to see if a permanent fix is available. No water leaks observed."

"Arrived on site to complete sealed system repair on unit WRT138FFDM01. I tapped ths system and found what seemed like no pressure. I took off the piercing pliers and found excessively high pressure in the dryer. As unit was decompressing I could smell an awful sour burnt smell. Once unit was empty, cut dryer and found burnt beads and oil. This indicates a burnout. Sent pictures and findings to tech line, 22657179. Unit non repairable due to burnout. "Arrived on site for washer WTW4855HW3 with issue of fills and drains continuously. Upon arrival, ran diagnostics and get error code F8-E3 over flow condition. I cleared error code then Ran a normal cycle with deep fill. Unit fills about half a tub full then control turns off and begins draining. I inspected pressure hose and is filled with water. Tried blowing through hose and cannot . I replaced harness W10919003 which included pressure hose and test unit. Unit begins filling and begins filling with too much water then automatically drains. Once all water drains. I ran diagnostics again and now get error code F8-E1 no fill/ long fill. I replaced control W11607637 and test unit. Unit is now operating as designed. No leaks present. Arrived on site for a refrigerator WRS588FIHZ06 getting frost in the freezer. Found condensation on the ice bin and some frost behind the light cover on the evaporator cover. I removed the frost and checked the evaporator. The heater is operating as designed. No issues with the gaskets. Condensation was possibly due to something getting closed in the door. No leaks detected while on site.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator model KRFC704FPS03 that is not cooling properly in the RC section but is cooling in the FC sections. I confirmed the customers complaint and found slight evidence of a defrost issue and the evaporator fan not running. I removed the evaporator cover and found the evaporator motor had failed. I steamed off the excess ice on the evaporator and replaced the evaporator cover assembly W11395558 and reassembled the unit. The unit it began to work and operate as designed with no leaks present during service. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine model WFW6620HC0 that is not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit would drain, but the clothes come out drenched. I ran the unit through diagnostics and found an F0 E5 (off balance load), F0 E2 (oversuds), F8 E1 (long fill), and F5 E3 (door unlock failure) error codes. I ran the unit through a diagnostic cycle and found oversudsing happing when the unit it was not adding soap. I found it had 1/3 of the basket filled with suds after the unit had drained. I tried removing as much suds build up and checked the pressure hose. I found the pressure hose backed up. I replaced the pressure switch W11316246 and ran 3 rinse and spins to clear out the excess suds. I went over detergent usage, and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete. "Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the machine was making ice just fine after the previous repair and had been working great for the past 6 months but a week ago, the unit slowed down production and then stopped. He also advised th a t the freezer seems a little warmer than usual because his ice cream is a little soft. I checked temperature in the freezer and found the freezer at 13 degrees fahrenheit. I found an ice ball in the upper right hand corner of the evaporator cover and when I removed the over, I found an incomplete frost pattern with most of the ice being stuck on the top lines of the evaporator, indicating a restriction, leak, or failing compressor. I checked amp draw off of the compressor and found the compressor bouncing between .796 and .846 A but the compressor was hot to touch. "Arrived on site for an electric range model WFG320M0MS0 that had the outer glass shatter. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised she may have shut her door too hard, but it completely shattered all over her floor. I found the inner glass still intact. I did find a slight dent in the lower metal frame that I was able to bend back into position. The customer is just past her warranty period, so I called the Whirlpool safety team and spoke to Ken SR# 22552340. He gave me a parts concession (W89DRMWP1) for repairs but advised the customer would be liable for the labor for installation. I quoted the customer for the service for today, and she advised that she won't have any money to pay until Friday. She asked if we came back, what that would cost. I quoted the customer $160.00 plus tax for the second trip and installation since parts are covered. The customer agreed to the repair. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts on a refrigerator model WRS325SDHZ08. Inspected unit and work area. I cut the capillary tube at the dryer and found oil spray out of both the dryer and the capillary tube for over an hour. After taking several videos and photos, I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Kurt SR# 22662772. He advised that based on the videos and photos, the whole sealed system was saturated with oil and would be impossible to clear out, making it non-repairable. He advised me to let the customer know that Whirlpool would be in contact with the customer within the next week for an exchange. He advised me to make no further repair at this time. I cleaned up all oil spilled on the floor and found no water leaks present during service. Call complete. No parts were installed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher model MDB8969SDM1 leaking from front left corner. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that she experienced a drip from the left corner of the door and since has not been leaking. I checked the door gasket and bottom seal and found time to be without issue. I placed the machine into diagnostics and observed no error codes. I ran the dishwasher and found a large amount of suds from residual detergent. I explained to the customer that the too much detergent or too concentrated detergent can cause this issue. Arrived onsite for dishwasher KDTM405PPS1 tripping the breaker. The breaker has been turned off for a few weeks now. Restored power and tan diagnostics test. All components passed. Ran a normal cycle and passed. Could not duplicate any issues. No signs of water leaking and components test pass. Spoke to customer and found that at times the breaker would trip even when not in use. Made recommendations to try connecting unit to a different outlet and monitor if that breaker trips. If not then recommend the breaker be replaced. Reported findings to Safety team case#22595907. Job complete

"MED6200KW1. Customer stated the dryer took a long time to dry clothes on timed or auto dry, requiring multiple cycles. Customer also said the lint trap was not catching lint, causing it to escape and plug the vent, requiring regular cleaning. Ran dryer and checked airflow; airflow was good. Checked outside wall vent and noticed it was partially plugged, restricting flow. Removed back panel and blower housing; no excess lint in blower bottom. Seal around bulkhead vent was fine. Lint trap fit as intended. Spoke to GC, who said nothing can be done for lint sliding off the trap. Advised customer unit is working as intended, no fix for lint trap issue. Suggested contacting Whirlpool customer care if desired. Dryer working as intended."

"Washer WTW4307SW0. Customers stated that the unit was vibrating and shaking really bad, making a lot of noise from underneath, some type of grinding noise. Ran unit to auto test: unit filled, agitated, and spun. Could not hear any unusual noises like grinding. Did notice that the tub was leaning towards the right front corner and had some bounce. When I tested the suspension, there was no play with the inner basket and the outer tubthat was tight. Ordering suspension rods, gear case, and cam. Arrived on site for a refrigerator MFI2570FEZ16 not making ice. The freezer is -2 degrees. Found ice in the tray but couldn't get the icemaker to harvest. Also found some ice in the filltube. I replaced the icemaker w11692161 and when it filled the valve made a loud sound so I replaced the valve w11548535.
