"Arrived on site to follow up on washer that was throwing ERR and not properly running cycles. I removed the lid and replaced the pressure switch. As I was replacing the console and control, I found the cabinet of the unit is rusting out on the bottom left. I found rust on cabinet and also on lid. The rust on the bottom left of the cabinet is going to cause the unit to crumple when it gets worse, and likely result in the basket banging around/failing. Found the source of the water and rust to be a leaking housing on the top of the box. This was not noticeable until the unit was pulled out and disassembled. Attached pictures. Contacted claims to request autho, due to cost of repair being incredibly high due to needing 2 technicians, new cabinet and lid, and electronics to fully resolve. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making good ice. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they had another company service the unit and was to,d the unit needed an evaporator. Upon my arrival, the customer said the unit had been on for approximately 45 mins. I found frost on the evaporator and the fill tube filling the reservoir but the flow of water from the fill tube was very slow (photo). I removed and replaced the valve and retested and the unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Inspected evap coil and found very little moister/ice build up on 10% of the coil while te rest of dryer and warm. "KDFM404KPS0 GP arrived on site to inspect dishwasher stuck in cycle of turning on and off. Inspected the unit and found the following error codes F8E4 (float switch open/overfill) F10E2 (vent wax motor) F8E2 (fill valve electrical problem). Found the drip pan not mounted and found water inside of the overflow, drain loop placed just at the bottom of the sink. Based on the color of the water its possible that the sink has been back flowing into the dishwasher. No mounting screws were found upon arrival. Unit was also not properly leveled. Corrected these issues and tested the unit and its is operating as designed with no water leaks observed during service."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not drying dishes. Upon further inspection, I found the cuetomer is not using rinse aid (photo). I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes and tested. Unit operated as designed. While testing, I checked amp draw to the components of the unit and found the element is providing 7-9amps during wash and drying cycles during diagnostics (photo). Once testing was complete, I demonstrated to my customer that the element is heating by pouring some water onto the element and it sizzled and produced steam. I contacted techline and spoke to Jonathan and advised of the complaint and my findings. Jonathan recommended advising the customer of rinse aid and use and care and provided SR#7736945709. I made recommendations for use and care, as well as, detergent and rinse aid use to my customer. Unit is operating as designed. No repairs needed at this time and no water leaks observed during service. Job completed."

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that is not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. But the unit had been unplugged. The customer advised that he unplug the unit on Sunday morning because the unit had stopped cooling on Thursday and it continue to climb and spoiled his food. He unplugged it because he didnt see a point in keeping the unit plugged in. Found the compressor and evaporator fans kick on immediately as unplug the Internet. Took a nap draw after compressor and found pulling .925 A. I checked resistance through the heater and found the heater within range. Spoke to JC and was advised that because the unit was unplugged, we could not determine if there was an issue with a Control or if it was a defrost issue. He also advised that it may have caused a small leak at the evaporator the first time that the unit frosted up. I was advised to have the customer keep the unit plugged in and reschedule the customer to 7/31; schdld next appmnt for 7/31 MON PM"

I found a piece of brown masking tape had fell in the drain trough causing water to dam up and freeze then divert the water to the rear of the cover and leak. I removed the tape and cleared the ice. "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop gas leak. Upon further inspection, I found the gas source turned off and turned it on. I removed the drawers below the unit to expose the gas line and regulator and immediately smelled the gas odor. I tested the unit and all burners are operating as designed. I removed the knobs and listened/smelled for gas leaks and found none. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I tested the gas line and found the gas line connector at the coupling to the regulator was not tightened (photo) and found bubbles coming out on the right side of the connection. I tightened the line and retested with my leak detector and found no further leaks. I advised the builder of my findings. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Lashonda and advised of my findings. She advised notes have been documented to SR#7736909080. No gas leaks detected at the end of service, job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher leaking water. Upon further inspection, the customer advised they found a puddle of water at the front right area of the unit and havent used the unit since. I removed the toeplate and drip pan and placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Tested the unit and found water leaking out at the back right side. I pulled the unit out and found water leaking from the element nuts (photo). Also found dry water stains on the floor under the unit (photo). I inspected the element and found the bushings had deteriorated (photo). Following the service pointer (W11540964), I removed and replaced the element and retested and unit is no longer leaking water. I advised the customer of my findings and they took photos of the minimal damage under the unit. I left the old element for the customer to provide for insurance purposes. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed ."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator door,gasket and ice build up. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=8 degrees and RC=39 degrees. Removed the bottom RC crisper drawer and found a small amount of ice under the evaporator and removed it. I found the right RC door gasket had popped out of the liner. I re-seated the gasket and tested and it is operating/sealing properly. I found a large amount of rust on the left and right RC doors and the FC door (photos). I requested authorization to replace the doors and was advised that the customer would have to contact their extended warranty to discuss replacing the doors as they dont cover rust on doors. I advised the customer of this. No further repairs needed at this time. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Customer asked me if take the ice bin out would cause a problem I said except if you turn it off. I looked and the unit was turn off. Arrived onsite for a washer to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I found no oil leaking from the gear case and confirmed what the previous tech found. The customer found the other screw that had fallen out of the pulley/belt cover. I did find the belt loose and the teeth on the cam chewed up. I replaced the cam and belt. I repaired the holes in the gear case that had been over torqued causing the screws to come out. I found rub marks on the cover and suspect this was the noise the customer was hearing when it was in spin. The customer stated the machine hadnt made the noise since the previous tech temporarily mounted the pulley/belt cover. I installed the cover screws and tested the machine finding it working as designed. I also leveled the machine. I went over loading the machine and cycle selections with the customer. Call complete.

The oven worked as designed but after 10 minutes it turned off. I tested voltage at the terminal block with the customer present and we found L1 was missing. We checked the breaker and it is a double pole split breaker finding L1 tripped. We reset the breaker and the L1 side is spongy. I explained this to the customer and he is going to change the breaker. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. I found the system with no refrigerant in it. I replaced the compressor and drier. I added a low side tap to the compressor. I found a leak on the lokring between the condenser and yoder loop. I cut out the lokring and sleeved it with copper tubing. I vacuumed the system and charged it with 55 grams of R600A. I tested the unit and found it working as designed with good pressures and good refrigerant flow. I explained to the customer to keep his thermometer in the freezer for a couple of weeks and make sure the temp is staying at 0 degrees before loading it full of product just in case there are any other refrigerant leaks. The unit is not connected to a water supply. Call complete.
