WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW9640XW00 "Arrived on site for washing machine that wont complete a cycle still and is showing an F 28 code. Ran unit through auto testing unit ran as designed. Please do not in service diagnostics and found an F 30 (dispenser system error), F22 (door lock error), and F28 (serial communication error) error codes. Took off the top and found two connectors not engaged fully. Reconnected connectors and tested resistance through he door lock. Found unit pulling 9.32 k ohms. I called Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7728473144. He had me run several test and we found the main control not sending 5V DC to the motor control. He advised to replace the CCU and unit should work as designed. Replaced CCU and tested unit in an auto test. Unit ran as designed. Call complete."

Upon diagnosing the unit I found that the spark module and And main harness switches to the front right burner were not communicating with one another and I like the sparker tonight. I also found that the heat given off from the two front burners on the far left and far right side were causing the paint decal of the burner settings to wear off of the main cooktop panel. The middle burner of the cooktop started having issues at random every 10 to 15 times you would turn it on there would be a loud pop as if they were something trapped inside the gas line and not allowing gas come out. Upon further inspection, customer advised that unit is very hot while using the oven and they smell gas while the oven is being used. Upon further inspection, I tested the oven on Bake at 350 degrees. I could hear the ignitor arcing and then the burner came on. I removed the bottom drawer and could detect a small amount of gas odor, but it went away quickly. I found the burner air shutter wide open. I adjusted it and when the burner came back on, I did not smell anymore gas odors. I explained to the customer that the heat levels is determined by what temp the unit is being used due to the unit vents at the top of the cooktop just under the control panel. Theres nothing that can be done to change it. Tested the cooktop and all burners are operating as designed. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

I found the RC evaporator housing discolored from a refrigerant leak. I replaced the RC evaporator & compressor. I installed a low side service tap on the compressor and installed a dye dryer. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 5.50 ozs of R134A. I had a good frost pattern on the evaporator and good pressures. The unit is working as designed. Upon further inspection I found that the reason the low flow error code was appearing was because they had a water pressure issue with the cut off valve to the cold water behind the machine the customers that they would need to get a plumber out there to figure out why the water pressure to the washer is so low this in turn led to the reason why the machine was getting off balance the clothes would get wet during the fill and agitating cycles but when it came to the final rinse and spin cycles because it was taking so long for the washer to fill up and those clothes would not be leveled and would have an uneven distribution of water weight that would then caused the spin cycle to violently shake against the inside of the frame I informed the customer that once I get the water pressure issue taken care of and the machine cant function with the proper amount of water that is shaki

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706EBS01 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator UI not responding and the unit turning off/on. Upon further inspection, I found the unit operating as designed. I placed the unit in diagnostics and when I checked the thermistor in step 1, the unit failed to respond. I took the unit out of diagnostics and then the unit shut down. I cycled the power to the unit and it would not start up, but it was getting voltage. I could hear the 3 way valve attempting to get into,home position, but wouldnt. I contacted the previous tech that was having similar issues previously and after performing several voltage checks and everything checking good the unit intermittently would power up and begins cool with no issues. But when I cycled the power one more time while testing voltage to the inverter board, the unit failed to come back on but still had voltage. RANGE WHIRLPOOL WEG745H0FH0 Arrived onsite for a range with the LF burner not working. Ms stated the burner will light but if its turned off after it lights and turned back on it doesnt light again. I tested all the burners and found the burner cap on the LF burner not fitting correctly causing a floating flame when it would light. I swapped the LF and RF burner caps and tested the burners. Both burners had good flames. I found a draft coming from the AC vent in the kitchen causing lighting issues when the air was blowing. I showed this to ms and advised turning the microwave fan on low to prevent the draft. I showed ms how this would allow the burner to light correctly every time. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

I asked the customer if the unit had been making ice ok and ms stated yes. I temped the FC and the RC and found the FC at 1 degrees and the RC at 36 degrees. Ms stated some things would freeze on the second shelf in the rear. I found the product pushed against the rear wall and explained the the product shouldnt be pushed back past the shelves because it will restrict air flow and cause products to freeze. I went over install instructions with the customer because the unit is in a cabinet and it is tight on both sides restricting air flow to the condenser and fan. I explained this was causing the excessive heat under the cabinet above the refrigerator. Ms stated they would get the cabinet repaired to resolve this. The unit is working as designed. I found the light bulb housing stuck, I was able to remove the housing and found the bulb to be bad, I checked the light bulb socket and found the socket receiving 120v. I reinstalled the bulb housing and I ensured it is easily removable. I did a temp test on the unit and found preheat got to 370. I opened the door and let the temp drop. The unit cycled on and heated to temp 370 and cycled off the heat. The unit cycling with a 20 degree difference. The unit is operating as designed.

All checked good. Tested voltage at terminal block and found 120 V from L1 to neutral and L2 to neutral and 204 V from L1 to L2. I called commercial tech line to try to figure out how to jump the machine without using coins and ask for any other information. I spoke to Jerry and he had me check wiring at the timer. All checks ran good. He advised me to have the customer give us coins to run the cycle because he advised everything seemed to check out. I called whirlpool tech line and spoke with Steve (sr# 7728465555), who instructed I use an extension cord to be able to connect the washer to a dedicated non-gfci outlet and run an automatic test on the unit. He said that if all ran well and no error codes were present with the unit after test then unit would be fine and that the gfci would need to be replaced with either a high grade gfci or simply a regular outlet. After running test there were no error codes that popped up.unit is functioning as it was designed. I tested the unit and found the igniter coming on and the flame lighting but only staying lite for about 30 seconds and lighting again 2 minuets later. I replaced the thermal cut off, flame sensor, coils and control. I tested the unit again and got the same result. I removed the vent from the unit and found they cycles for heating are working properly. I spoke with the customer about the air flow being restricted. I found out they had a company come out and clean the vents but never checked the vent exit in the roof, I let the customer know if they never cleared the vent exit its self there is likely a restriction or build up there cause I hen dryer to not heat properly. After inspecting original diagnosis of freezer door I found that the freezer door itself is functioning fine also the icemaker does appear to be able to call for water and harvest just like it should and after running diagnostics on both the icemaker in the thermistors in the freezer in the fridge I found that everything was functioning as designed. The problem I found that was causing the freezer to allow too much cold air into the refrigerator and freezing everything on the fresh fruit side was due to the fact that the dampener motor located in the fresh meat section was bad and at certain points it would get stuck open and then another situations it would be stuck closed and not allowing the cold air to fluctuate through the unit as it should.
