"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, I tested temps in the FC=8 degrees. I found the unit was in defrost mode when I arrived and temps in the FC=17 degrees. While inspecting the remaining unit, I left my thermal couple inside the FC section to monitor temps. Customer advised that they went to get ice and a lot of water came out of the ice dispenser and they could not get the ice bin out. I found the ice chute gasket not seated properly and adjusted (photos). When I went to remove the ice bin, it would not budge. I pulled several times and it finally came out and had a solid block of ice in the bottom (photo). Once I removed the bin, I tested the ice maker and it harvested as designed but I found the fill tube chute clogged with ice and the water would run over the chute into the bin. Also found the ice in the chute has some insulation debris inside. I found the ice maker was calling for too much water and water had gotten into the motor area. I removed and replaced the ice maker and sealed the fill tube and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I found some ice at the bottom of the opening of the freezer section and on the FC door. I removed the ice and closed the door and found the gasket sealing properly. I advised the customer that so,etching had kept the FC door open and allowed the warm air to mix with the cold air and when the door closed completely, the ice form. Recommended they double check the door to make sure its closing all the way. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed. W10882923"

"Arrived onsite for oven not reaching temperature. On inspection found a round temperature gage in the unit, set bake to 350?. The oven went to 375? on the top end and went 341? bottom end and it cycled 4 times at those temperatures. The customer said that the first they cooked cookies they were raw. She said she had put the cookies in when it hit temperature, I informed her that if she is baking need to wait another 15 minutes after it hit set temperature. The oven is operating as designed and no gas leaks detected during service. No parts were installed."

I went to test voltage at the pump and it started. I found the molex connector not fully seated. I snapped it together and watched the machine make one batch of ice and watched the pump start again on a second batch. All is working as designed. No water leaks were present at the time of service. "Arrived on site to inspect wall oven door not closing properly. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated how the lower oven door is not closing/sealing in the top left corner of the door. The door had some play in it approximately 1/8 inch. I also found the lower door was not sitting evenly as the gap in between the upper door and lower door was higher in the left side. I pulled the unit out and adjusted the height of the door by adjusting the hinge receiver on the left side. Once I had the lower door adjusted, I tested and found it continues to have the excess play in the upper left corner. I removed the doors (upper/lower) and switched them and still had the same amount of play which tells me the unit is not leveled and the chassis has a clockwise twist either from delivery or installation. When I placed the unit back in its space, I found the shelf the unit is rested on site slightly lower on the right side and the left side is completely flush. Also found the unit is resting on the vent causing tension on the front of the unit. I placed the unit doors back onto the unit and tested the lower oven on Baker at 350 degrees. While doing this, I placed my thermal lead at the top left corner of the lower door to test for any air leaks and my temps stayed in range of 76.8 degrees to 77.5 degrees telling me theres no air leak. I advised the customer of my findings and contacted techline to get documented. I spoke to Jeremy and advised of the history, the complaint today and my findings. Jeremy advised that the issue is cosmetic due to installation and to not replace any parts. Jeremy provided SR#7739093428 and recommended that the customer contact their builder to fix the installation to resolve the twisting issue. No repairs made, job completed."

Arrived onsite for dryer not drying correctly. On inspection I found very little air movement and the dryer never got above 91?. Gain access to the heating element and found the heating element housing had come disconnected from the blower housing and was pointed towards the motor. Reconnected the element housing and reassembled the unit. The dryer is operating as designed from the factory. No parts were installed on the unit. Informed the customer that the dryer vent needs to be cleaned to allow complete air flow through the system to help the heating and drying of the unit.

Arrived onsite for freezer side of refrigerator not cooling properly. Found both sides not cooling properly. Found only about 3 loops frosted on evaporator and I can hear the refrigerant flow starting and stopping. Removed evap cover and inspected it and the system for leaks and no leaks were present. Checked pressures and found pressures good and had the right amount of refrigerant but the high side would shoot up when the flow would stop. The unit was acting like there was moisture in the cap tube causing the issue. I removed the charge and vacuumed the system. I charged the system with 5.5 oz of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and good refrigerant flow. Unit is operating as designed and refrigerant is flowing good at this time. No water leaks are present at time of repair. "Arrived on site for a dryer that wont turn on. Inspected unit and work area. Upon entry, I found the UI slightly dimmed and the off position, and the touch buttons would not respond. I checked voltage and found proper voltage and polarity going to the unit. I checked proper voltage going to the user interface. I unplugged the unit for a minute and talked it back in and found the unit start to work and operate as designed. I spoke to SW and was asked if the customer is using the Wi-Fi on the dryer. The customer advised that he does not know how to hook that up. I did inform the customer that it is possible that the unit is trying to do updates without being hooked to Wi-Fi which can result in this issue and that power cycling the unit will generally fix the non-response issue. We tested unit several times and the unit is working and operating as designed. Call complete."

I ran it on quick wash and when it went to the middle arm it did not spray water, it dripped it for about 3 minutes then it sprayed like normal for about a minute. "WMH31017HS09 Arrived to inspect noise from microwave. I found the unit would make a loud noise when heating was attempted and inspected. The diode had arced and failed and after removal and replacement, the issue was resolved and the unit heated as designed."

"WED5100HW2 Arrived to inspect drying issues. The customer advised the machine would take multiple cycles to dry a load. Heating was present and all other mechanical functions were as well. Airflow testing reveled extreme restriction of the residences venting and the air intake would not hold a piece of paper in place, during testing. I advised the customer to seek the services of a professional vent cleaning company and to not attempt any further use until the vent cleaning has been tested and completed."

Arrived onsite for cooktop burner not igniting in a timely manner. On inspection the front left burner was not igniting correctly. The ignitor wqs sparking to the left and the gas comes out on the right. I adjust the burner so the igniter would spark on the right side. Now the burner ignites on the first few sparks. The range is operating as designed and no gas were detected during service. No parts were installed on unit.

I found no signs of issue with the heater and associated wiring, including wiring and resistance and the system showed 7.7 amps during testing. Due to the vent motor error, I removed and replaced the vent assembly to rule the issue out. Testing showed all functions were available and the unit operated as designed. "Arrived on site for no ice. Ran diagnostic diagnosed a defective thermistor,replaced thermistor ran diagnostic all test passed good frost formation on evaporator plate. Used wpw10511923"

"WMH32519HZ5 Arrived to inspect burnt area within microwave cavity. I found the right rear rack mount had failed on the customer during cooking and allowed the metal rack to contact the inner wall, resulting in an arcd area. I was able to fully remove arc flash spalling and create a smooth finish to apply corrective pant. The unit operated as designed."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that is frosting in the FC in multiple locations. The customer stated that wasnt the issue. The customer stated that the issue is the top of the FC door gasket is getting full of water and it runs down on the floor. I found water droplets running down the mullion from the bottom of the deli drawer. I found an excessive amount of water in the gasket since the customer stated she had dried it off earlier this morning. I found gaps between the chassis and liner around the deli drawer especially at the bottom of the door. The liner needs to be sealed to the chassis and this was never done during manufacturing. I also found the right RC gasket torn and the magnet starting to get exposed. Ordering WP482338 white silicone & W10830274 RC gasket. RS for Thursday 5/23/2024.; ordrng 1 WP482338 (White silicone) and 1 W10830274 (RC gasket)

"Arrived on site to test unit for not tumbling. Tested unit found element engaging but drum not tumbling. Also found that as soon as you move the timer from off, elements starts heating. Inspected element found it warped and grounding out causing unit to overheat and trip thermal cut off. Will need to order heating element and timer as precautionary for return visit. Ordering parts, no parts installed, rescheduled for 05/24.; ordrng 1 279838 (Heating element) and 1 WP3979617 (Timer)"

"Arrived on site to test unit for overfilling. Customer stated when on auto sense water level unit would fill to the top when washing a small load. No error codes stored. Tested pressure hose, no punctures or restrictions. Replaced control (W11603810) as precautionary. Unit when through diagnostic cycle with no issues. Advised customer to keep load size from 20%-40%. Unit is running as designed, no leaks detected, job complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for tripping breaker and smoke. Found no stored error codes, inspected terminal block. Found power cord wires have shorted due to wires rubbing on terminal block cover and eventually cutting through, when it shorted it created smoke. Spoke to maintenance manager and sent photos to him, he will buy a new cord and install. No parts installed, job complete."

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that is going off balance. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that the unit goes massively off-balance any time they run any sort of load and that all cycles will not complete. I just the suspension and found the suspension was completely shot. I checked the basket and found the basket was wobbling on the driveshaft, indicating a failed hub assembly. I did not have the hub assembly on hand so Im ordering the hub assembly to be replaced with the suspension for repair. Rescheduled the customer the first available on 5/28.; ordrng 1 W10528947 (Hub)"
