"Arrived onsite for refrigerator that won’t make ice. Inspected unit and work area. Tested ice box fan, thermistors, and evaporator fan. All tests ran as designed. Pulled off icemaker cover and found the icemaker stuck in the middle of a harvest but the motor was not running. Checked voltage to icemaker and found 121.3 V going to ice maker. Tested voltage from the heater to the neutral and found 120.7V but when going from the motor to the neutral, found no voltage. Tried to jumper the ice maker and found the same voltage. Replaced ice maker and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Found door not sealing around edges and slides completely frosted over making it difficult to open and close the door. Found no frost build up over evaporator. Defrosted slides and replaced gasket. Found the door popping when trying to close it correctly. Door kept popping left and right depending on which side of the door you were pressing. Remove slides and replace them with new slides. Performed diagnostics mode and tested damper control and FF thermistor. Found thermistor reading OP/ opened. Gained access to thermistor and measured ohms at 3.6K, within range. Gained access to main control and tested thermistor circuit and read 2.9 K ohms. Powered unit on and performed diagnostics mode. Found thermistor starting reading in test mode. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Robert. He stated that powering unit off may have reset and control now reading on when tested may have had bad terminal connection. (7728092446). "Arrived on site to inspect dryer error codes. Upon further inspection, customer advised they were drying a load of clothing when the dryer showed AF in the display. Using a dryer vent test kit, I tested the airflow to the unit. On the first 2 tests, the unit failed. I removed the vent tube for the back of the unit and tested a third time and the unit passed. I found that the vent tube was flimsy and too long. With the customers permission, I shortened the tube and retested. Again, the unit failed. I placed the unit in diagnostics and it showed error code F4E3-restricted airflow. Cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed. Ran the unit on a normal cycle with a few clothes inside and after approximately 4 minutes, the unit stopped and showed error code AF. I recommended that the customer replace the vent tube at the ack with a more firm tube and also have someone inspect the vent tube going up to the roof. No lint observed during s

"Arrived on site to inspect cooktop burners not working. Upon further inspection, I found the front right burner and back left burner won’t ignite. I checked and both ignitors are arcing, but the front right ignitor is arcing downwards and not towards the burner. I attempted to clean the ignitor and burner head due to spillage on the burner head and it did not work. I attempted to replace the ignitor, but the small screw holding the ignitor in place was stripped and I couldn’t get it to break free from the burner head. The ignitor on the back left burner was arcing correctly but not igniting the gas. I cleaned the ignitor and burner head and tested and it began to was intermittent.No gas leaks detected during service. Due to front left ignitor separating, I used electrical tape to cover the harness and advised the customer to not use the burner until the repair is completed.; ordrng 1 74007734 (burner asy) and 1 74007736 (burner asy)"

Upon arrival customer informed that issue is dispenser completely fills with water diluting soap and water spilling out into bellow when dispenser drawer is pulled out. Tested and inspected unit and found failed dispenser housing. Removed failed part and replaced with new. Tested unit and all operations are normal. No water leaks present at time of service.

Arrived on sit for both door gasket was being torn. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the left door gasket is torn in the bottom left hand corner and the night door gasket o torn down the left side by the million. I replaced both gaskets and tested the unit. Unit is operating as designed and the gaskets are sealing properly. No water leaks detected.

"Arrived on site for washing machine that would not turn on the light or send water to the fabric softener dispenser. Inspected unit and work area. Ran through diagnostics and the service test for the light and found incorrect voltage being sent when the door was closed. Per the tech sheet, it advise to replace the control. Tested the valves in a manual test and found no water coming into the unit on any valves. Tested voltage going to the cold water valve and pump found proper voltage but tested voltage going to the hot water valve when calling for it and found 2 V. I advise the customer that the issue could potentially be an issue with just the control but that I could not confirm that until we replace the control.

Arrived onsite for refrigerator not making ice. Upon arrival the customer stated that the ice maker is now producing ice. I put the unit into diagnostics and tested the ice maker it harvested and filled with water correctly. When I tried to get out of diagnostics it would not go back I tried to turn the cooling off and the UI displayed a 01 code and began filling the ice tray with water when the ice tray fill code is 46. The UI would not respond to my attempts to disengage or to turn off the water so I had to turn it off at the breaker indicating a faulty UI. Also said the display had blacked out and they cycled power to the unit to get it back on. I checked error codes and found F6E4. I removed and replaced the main ACU and cycled power then removed and replaced the console and cycled power again. Programmed the unit and tested and it is operating as designed. Job completed."
