"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker working intermittently. Upon further inspection, I pulled the bin out and found a few cubes inside. Placed unit in diagnostics and tested the ice maker and it operated as designed. Tested the remainder of the unit and all tests passed. Due to the intermittent operation, I removed and replaced the ice maker and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I turned the temp down to minus -2 degrees in the FC section to assist in making ice faster. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed parts. I replaced the broken flapper for the optical eye. I swapped In The ice dispenser motor. I tested the unit and found the motor not working. I gained access to dispenser switch and found the mounting brackets cracked and only partially engaging the switch. I tested the switch with the original motor in and it started to work. I spoke with customer about the repair. . I secured the switch in place with foil tape so the customer and temporarily get ice from the dispenser.; ordrng 1 WP2180226 (bracket)

Arrived onsite for an ice machine that needs to be cleaned and the filter changed. Ms stated that the unit shouldn’t need cleaning and the filter changed because she just cleaned it and replaced the filter at the end of April but the clean light and change filter light are both on. I found the clean and change filter lights on. I found the ice thickness a little thinner than normal. I dumped the reservoir and tested the unit. I found the water pressure coming into the reservoir very low causing the thinner ice. I removed the filter and tested it again. I found the same low pressure. The fill valve needs to be replaced.I replaced the fill valve and tested the unit. The reservoir is filling properly now. I reset the filter and started the unit in a clean cycle for the customer to get the needs cleaning light off. "Arrived in site for fridge having a sealed system issue. I inspected the unit and work area. I found the fridge on. I gained access to the evaporator and found no frost pattern. I unplugged the unit and pierced the dryer and found the high side pressure at 50psi, I plugged the unit in and the pressure rose to 10psi, indicating the compressor is working. I installed an access port and a UI dryer into the unit. I removed the old evaporator and installed new. I pulled a 30inch vacuum and monitored the low side for leaks, none where found. I charged the system with .4oz of refrigerant. I monitored the low side gauge and pressure was showing zero once the compressor kicked on. I inspected the evaporator and found a good frost pattern forming. Unit is operating as designed. Job complete."

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that is not sealing properly. Inspected unit and work area. Found freezer door sealing properly but unit sweating at the top where the gasket touches the center million. I asked the customer whether they had seen any frost inside the freezer and they did not. Felt center million for heat exchange and found the Molien warm from the top screw for the handle and down to the bottom but from the screw up, the center mullion was cold water cold. I called Techline and spoke to Butch and SR# 7728365343. He had me take temperature in the freezer section and found the unit within range. He asked me to unplug the condenser fan and let the unit run for 10 minutes without the condenser fan running to see if the center mullion would change temperature. Found the upper portion of the mullion not changing temperatures and he bottom portion dropping in temperature. I called Techline back (Same SR) and spoke with Leon.

Arrived on site for a refrigerator that was leaking water from the icemaker. Upon further inspection I found that the icemaker itself has the enamel painting starting Chipaway in flake off in the ice in the icemaker motor is broken. The icemaker will need to be replaced and the reasoning this all started happening is because the water valve has not been shutting all the way in has Has been leaking water into the icemaker and causing more problems so the water valve will need to be replaced as well. The user interface on the front of the fridge is also at a point that because of the damage and can’t see what all the function of the czar and the customers have stated that they have cut their fingers trying to push the buttons due to how jagged some of the edges are. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, I found the unit to be an upright refrigerator located in the garage and customer had unit pulled away from the wall. Before so could test temps, customer pointed out that the back cabinet panel was sweating. I found a 3x6 inch oval shaped sweat spot on the back lower right section of the cabinet that is directly behind the evaporator. I checked temp in the unit and it read 62 degrees. I found ice on the evap cover and when I removed the cover, I found the suction and capillary tubes engulfed in ice. I contacted techline and spoke to Rich and advised of my findings.Other than the sweating at the back of the unit, there were no water leaks/connections to the unit. Job completed."
