Customer stated that they turned off ice maker and when turned back on it taken 48 hours to produce ice. Measured temperature in ice area at 14.5°. Measured temperature in FC at 1°. Checked temperature settings and found set at 36° in RC and 0° in FC. Performed diagnostics mode, checked ice maker fault codes and found E2 motor lost position. Advanced ice maker harvest and found ice dropped and cycle ended at home position. Ran fill cycle and found restriction in fill tube line. Removed fill tube from inlet valve and found frozen. Measured fill tube heater and found at 55.4 ohms. Tested voltage to heater and found 120 volts. Added foil insulated tape to fill tube line to keep from freezing. Tested all operations, all tested good. No water leaks detected."

RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFE505W0HB1 "Arrived on site to inspect range burning smells. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit began to smoke and have a smell when they tried to use the oven. I pulled the unit from the wall and removed the terminal block cover and found the L1 and L2 harness connectors not tight. The L2 (red wire) was burnt from its connector. I tightened the connectors and added a “Y” connector to the L2 wire and retightened it. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that I am going to order a main harness and terminal block and recommended that the customer purchase a new four prong power cord before I return, so I can install the power cord when replacing the harness and block. I advised the customer of my repairs be temporary until I can return to replace the harness. I installed a low side service tap on the compressor and installed dye drier. I vacuumed the system and the unit would not get below 28 psi on the low side and when the gauges were closed the system equalized within seconds indicating a large leak. I pressurized the system and found the capillary hissing inside the cabinet. I called techline and spoke with Butch SR# 7728481758 and reported my findings.

Placed unit in service diagnostics and found the fill valve barely pulling in any water. Unit ran a full diagnostic cycle and all other components rain as designed. Replaced fill valve and tested unit. Unit still was not feeling the way it should. Tested voltage at the valve and found proper voltage. Advise customer that their issue was probably with water supply going to the unit due to the fact that the unit was taking along time to fill and was not pulling in enough water to make the ice size they should making. With the added time it takes to fill the unit and thin ice, the ice is melting before it has a chance to fill the bin. Customer will have a plumber come take a look at the under the counter filter to see if it needs to be replaced and will check water pressure. Call complete."

After running diagnostics I could not find any error codes but I did find that the damper motor inside of the fresh fruit section was grinding and getting stuck open causing too much cold air to freeze everything in the ff side. I replace the damper motor and instructed customer that it will take a few hours but after this everything in the fridge side will start functioning properly and now nothing will freeze any longer. We do need to order a new iStore dispenser for the dispensing system in the freezer door the old one is not sealing properly and allowing hot air to go up and freeze the ice in the bucket.; ordrng 1 W11098702 (door-ice)

I could not find any functional issues so I called techline. They walked me through a quick diagnostics routine and all the components tested good. Techline advised me that when there is no load in the sections we can’t get an accurate temperature reading. He also advised that the customer get some temperature probes and monitor the temps while there is a load in each section . Techline gave me a file number SR# 7728470012. Job complete.
