Per service pointer for this unit and this error code, the error code can be thrown from a power outage. I reset the unit at the breaker for two minutes. I then turned it back on. The unit was no longer showing the error code. I ran the unit with a cup of water for several minutes. The unit was not throwing the error code. The unit is working as designed.

I punctured the system and found a full charge in the system. I replaced the compressor and installed a uv dryer and an access valve. I did a push pull test on the system and found it working. I pulled a vacuum on the system and found no vacuum leaks. I put a measured charge into the system and found it holding and pressures building properly. I found a good frost pattern forming on the evaporator and the unit started cooling. I advised the customer to monitor it over the next 24 to 48 hours. Job complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator cooling in the freezer compartment, but not in the refrigerator compartment. Upon arrival the customer had the unit unplugged, and stated it had been unplugged for roughly a week. I checked temps and found both compartments were at 78?F. I then put the unit into diagnostics mode. I found while in diagnostics mode, the compressor still ran and never shut off. Due to this I ran test 40 to test the compressor and valves. It did not pass the test. The compressor turned off during step three, when it should of turned on. I then activated each airflow component in the unit. I found the RC fan not turning on. While in test 57 with the RC on I checked voltage to it at the control. I found 0VDC going to it. I then ohmd out the thermistors at the control and found the FC thermistor at 2.65k, the RC at 2.67k, the RC evap at 3.54k, and the FC evap thermistor at 2.91k. These are all good. I called techline and spoke to Austin and received SR# 7731479066. Austin recommended to replace the UI and control.Ordering the UI and returning with the control already on hand. I could not replicate the failure at the time of service. This indicates a faulty regulator. I swapped the burner head and cap with the front left to make sure it it was not the head. Arrived onsite for wall oven turning off during cooking and beeping at random times in the night. Upon inspection I found the unit would turn on in preheat bake. I accessed the main control and tested both sensors both showed within range. I checked the cooling fan and it showed good continuity. I followed troubleshooting tests with JC and we determined the main control is failing and breaking down under current flow.

Arrived on site to install new actuator to resolve shift actuator separating from cam ring. Retested with updated actuator and verified unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose intermittent drain pump, upon arrival I found the error code associated with a drain pump failure, I found that the drain pump is getting too hot and causing it to be intermittent. I removed the drain pump and replaced it, I tested the unit in a diagnostics cycle and observed no leaks. Job complete."

Arrived on site for range shocking customer when touching the sides. Inspected unit and work area. Removed both back panels and inspected wire harness to ground. Arrived on site found customer is experiencing refrigerator beeping 3 to 5 times every five minutes for half an hour once a day. Customer says there are no lights on the user interface being displayed and it doesnt match the sound the refrigerator makes when the door is open. "Arrived on site to diagnose / follow up on dual oven with issues with inconsistent heating in the upper oven. Customer advised me that when they cook multiple trays of baked items, the top tray burns on bottom, but the lower tray is fine. I measured temps and found the average to be 355, which is fine. I called and spoke to Asurion tech line and was advised by their rep that the unit will cycle elements and convect fan, and it will cause the upper rack to get hotter. I confirmed the issue with whirlpool tech line as well. Bake cycle utilizes both elements and the convect. WP tech line says racks 1-3 are recommended for use when baking, but racks in positions 4-6, closer to broil will cause temps to be hotter on the top items. No fault found with unit. Advised customer on response from reps and advised on cooking on lower racks only. Call complete."

I instructed her that the broil and bake reside as one as she thought there was a secondary line above for the broil, I found that both are operating properly as designed, I could not smell any excessive gas, or anything out of the ordinary.

Arrived on site for refrigerator with intermittent cooling and a broken dispenser. Upon arrival I found temps in both compartments was at 39 FC and 50 rc. Also found the ice dispenser plastic chute broken from handle. Also found the cooling issue was because compressor was over heating and shutting down. Found psi lvls ranging between 0 to -10 low side and 160 to 175 high side. Couldnt find any evidence of any leaks. I recovered 6.75oz of refrigerant from system then I pulled a vacuum on the unit for 15 minutes to try and clear the contamination from system. I recharged system and found unit had stable psi lvls stabilized at 0 and 150. Informed customer to give unit 24 hrs to cool. Call complete

Arrived on site for the refrigerator that is not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through test 44 to check the icemaker harvest and found the motor not turning. Removed icemaker cover and found the connector for the bucket switch not connected onto the wire harness in the door. Connected the bucket switch and tested it again. The motor began to turn and harvest as designed. Ran to other tests on the harvest and the Phil and unit worked as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for an ice machine that won?t cut ice. Inspected unit at work area. Customer advised that he had a prior company out and they could not fix the grid cutter so they were supposed to come back with the part but never did. Confirmed the customers complaint and found the green cutter completely broken on the top not allowing electricity to flow through the rig cutter. Replaced grid cutter and tested the unit. The unit cycled as designed and began to make ice. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that pausing in the middle of a cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Placed in an in service diagnostics and found an F5 E1 (lid switch fault - lid is up), F0 E4 (spin limited by water temperature), F0 E3 (overload), F3 E2 (inlet water temperature fault), and F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and found the unit working as designed. The customer stated that the unit put itself and a pause midway through the cycle and that the issue doesn?t necessarily happen at any point they?ll come back to the unit and the start button is flashing. I did advise the customer that generally speaking on these issues and ends up being a control panel related issue due to the contacts on the panel starting to short. Replaced user interface console and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed.

Arrived on site for a wash machine that?s not agitating. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the unit clicking as it was trying to agitate and spinning the basket. Checked underneath the unit and found the shifter not engaged with the spam. Replaced shifter was updated shifter and tested the unit. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a refrigerator that?s not cooling in the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. The customer stated they had probably had a defrost issue in the refrigerator several years ago where it kind of did the same thing. Check the evaporator for the defrost issue and found no frost buildup on the evaporator and the evaporator fan running properly. Place the unit and service diagnostics and found the average temperature of the freezer in the last 6 hours at 14?F. Found the refrigerator section sitting at 46?F. Advise the customer that the issue appeared to have been a sealed system issue.

"Arrived on site for a dryer that?s taking 2 to 3 loads to dry clothes. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does he but their clothes aren?t dry after one cycle for the most part. I ran the unit on a time dry high heat cycle and found the unit turning in heating properly. I could hear the gas valve actuator in the gas at night. Checked behind the unit and found the vent hose completely kinked and crashed. The customer stated that he did get fuel airflow out of the back. I advise the customer that due to the unit heating and tumbling, the issue would have to be with an air flow restriction. I advised the customer to replace his vent hose due to the damage sustained. I also advised the customer to run a load without the vent hose on on an hour time dry cycle to ensure the unit is drying clothes and that that would verify my ventilation issue on the unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Found only compartment lights as well as ui lights working but nothing else was running. After further inspection I narrowed down the issue to a short in the hv control not allowing it to distribute power evenly to rest of unit. Also found during diagnostics that the dampener motor and fan assembly were making a loud noise and not working in conjunction with one another. After getting autho I replaced dampener assembly and informed customer to give unit 24hrs to stabilize. Call complete

"Arrived on job for complaints of little to no ice. Found that icemaker tray was full, not harvesting normally. Changed out icemaker and ran diagnostics test 120 and 97, passed tests. Called tech line 7731473835"

Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed parts to resolve compressor making screaming noise. Found high side pressure at 145 on piercing the dryer. Evacuated system and replaced compressor and dryer. Vacuumed and verified vacuum holding. Charged to 3.5oz per serial tag. Retested and verified pressures good. Call complete.

Arrived on site to install previous diagnosed. Inspected unit and work area. Found unit going through filtration system with reverse osmosis connected (see SD-QUICKPIC). Removed water filter from unit. Performed diagnostics mode and found good water flow to reservoir. Found control read correct water level (filled with 1 minute and light was soiled when reservoir was full. Continued with test mode. Found when running compressor and condenser fan after 14 minutes no frost pattern was developing. Found compressor and condenser fan was running. Called Whirlpool tech support and spoke with Joel. Went over prior diagnostics and he stated that unit has a sealed system failure and will need to tap system to find if failed compressor or leak in evaporator. Tested inlet valve with water filter in place and found water pressure good and inlet valve test past. Will return with compressor and and evaporator tray. Office to schedule return when ETA is available. Please allow 3 hours for repair. Arrived on site to replace previously ordered parts for washer. Replaced shifter and tested unit. Found all is functioning properly at this time. No leaks were found at time of service.
