"Around on site to finish job. Inspected unit and work area. Soldered on Tube line to evaporator and charged unit. Unit ran as designed for 10 to 12 seconds before hearing what sounds to be a restriction in the line. Tested pressures and found the low side in a vacuum at -25 psi and the high side sitting at 125 psi. Unsoldered evaporator Tube and found oil mixed in with the refrigerant. I vacuumed out the lines, recharged unit and vacuumed out the lines again. Charged unit and unit flowed normally again this time for 6 seconds before restricting. Let out charge and still found oil in the refrigerant. At this point, we have vacuumed out the system seven times and recharged it and are still getting oil in the refrigerant causing a restriction.

"Arrived on site for washer that is not completing a wash cycle. Inspect unit and work area. Customer showed me the unit spinning the agitator but not the basket and no water coming into the unit. Placed in in-service diagnostics and found an F7 E5 (shifter failure) error code. Tested unit in an auto cycle and found unit making a grinding sound during agitation and the basket moving partially with the agitator. Stop the cycle and spun the basket by hand. Found what sounded like an airplane sun indicating the bearings in the drive motor had gone bad. I asked the customer how long is it been like that and he’s had mentioned it had been like that for quite a long time. Advised customer he would need to replace his drive motor and shifter

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, I found that the previous tech installed and drain pump and control. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E4. Cleared the code and continued with testing. The unit operated as designed but failed to drain. I tested voltage from the control and got none. Removed and replaced the control and retested and still does not drain. Tested the drain pump and it failed. Removed and replaced the drain pump and retested and it continues to not drain. I tested continuity in the harness and found the P5-4 connection open. I traced the wiring and found the harness inside the door. I spliced the wiring and reconnected and tested and the unit is operating properly. While testing, the drain hose where it connects from check valve hose to 6ft hose blew out and leaked water. Arrived onsite for a microwave making a popping noise when started and there is a crack in the door. I found the outer door trim cracked. I tested the door for RF leakage and found the door sealing correctly. I explained to the customer that the door is cosmetic and it would not be covered under AHS. I could see thru the grill that something on the HV side if the unit is shorting out when the unit is first started. I suspect a cracked diode but I can’t get the unit down. The unit is hanging up on the left side and the wall bracket is floating on the left side. Will need a second man to remove the unit from the wall. Ordering 2nd man and office to RS. I also explained to Ms that a waiver would need to be signed before we would remove the unit from the wall because of how the bracket is floating behind a tile backsplash. Ms agreed to sign it when we return.; saved tckt

"Arrived on site for fresh food fan making a noise and food freezing in th fresh food section. I inspected the unit and work area. I spoke with the customer about previous repairs for this unit. He stated the previous company had or easy replaced the air duct, evap fan, and control multiple times. Customer also stated that the last time they were out they cut the drain tub drain o prevent any restrictions. I gained access to the drain tube and found the previous company had cut the drain tube check valve complete.y out of the drain tube, allow warm air to be pulled into the fresh food evaporator causing the ice and condensation build up around the evap fan. I am ordering a new drain tube check valve assembly WR02X28554 to complete the repair. ordrng 1 WR02X28554 (drain tube and valve)"

"Arrived on site for refrigerator having frost buildup in freezer. Inspected unit and work area. Found bottom of door gasket not sealing (see SD-Pic). Found when using child prof door lock it was pushing bottom of door out (see SD-QuickPic). Removed door and heated gasket to reshape. Removed ice from FC and installed door. Found gasket rubbing toe plate. Raised door to correct. Recommend to install child lock on center instead of top. All tested good, no water leaks leaks detected during service."

Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that works intermittently. I questioned ms about the complaint that was dispatched for the dishwasher and she stated that the unit had not filled during a cycle and when she opened the door it was very hot and the detergent pod was not dissolved. Ms also stated the detergent door will not open. I tested the unit and found everything working as designed except the detergent door. I found three pieces of a wine glass down at the filter of the pump. I explained to JS that I suspect a piece of the glass had gotten under the float when the problem first happened. I found the detergent door spring had come loose. I reinstalled the spring and tested the machine. The door worked properly.

Arrived on site for refrigerator that still not making ice. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and tested the thermistors and ice level sensor. All checked good. Removed icemaker cover and tested voltage going to the icemaker. Found no voltage. Checked icemaker connector in the door and found the icemaker harness pulled out from the connector pins. Reconnected pans and tested it. Unit still had 5-20 V. Removed toe plate and removed ice maker door harness. Tested voltage going to the icemaker from underneath and found 122.6 V going to the icemaker. Connected door harness on two female harness from the control and tested voltage again up on the top connector where the icemaker harness attaches. Tested voltage with the door switch is closed and the ice bin inside the ice door. Found on 32.9 V at the connectors with the door switches engaged. Unit will need new left-hand door including the harness for full repair. Ordering d

"Arrived on site for dryer that is not turning on. Unit and work area. Found unit turning on but would not start a cycle. Tested voltage at the wall and found 120 V going between L1 and neutral and L2 and neutral. However, when going from L1 to L2, only found 200 V. Placed unit in service diagnostics and found an F4 E4 (L2 voltage problem) and F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. I called Techline and spoke to Dustin SR# 7728275905. He had me test several components including the door switch, motor, and thermal fuse. Found thermal fuse bad. Found excessive lint buildup in the blower wheel housing causing this issue. Dustin advised that with the voltage, the unit would not heat the way it should and still could throw an L2 code. He advised to get the unit on a regular 240 V outlet and unit should work as designed. Replaced thermal fuse and tested unit. Unit started and heated. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator leaking water and ice forming around the bottom of the ice bucket. I found the ice maker mild completely full of ice. I found the bucket frozen in a sheet of ice. I defrosted the ice and removed the bucket. I ran service test 56 and got a E2 motor lost position error. I ran service test 57 and found the motor stopping prematurely. Ran service test 45 after getting the ice out of the mold and the unit filled correctly, timed out at 7 seconds, and didn’t leak from the ice door. I replaced the ice maker and ran test 57 and 45 again. The ice maker is working as designed. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice bin with frozen ice on the outside and ice clumped in the bin. Upon further inspection, I t built up on the outside of the bin in between the ice door and bin. Also found a small amount of frost built up underneath the bin. Once I removed the bin, I found a small amount of ice on the ice chute plate. I removed the ice chute plate and found the chute gasket badly torn. Using a permagum, I placed a head of permagum around the plate chute and put the plate back into place. The plate made a tight seal in the chute. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
