"Arrived on site to follow up on repair with customer complaint that they aren’t able to raise the temp once a cycle is run. Customer says that once a cycle is started they can’t raise the temp, but believes they used to be able to. They also asked how long until the broil element kicks non once you change over to broil. Called techline and spoke to Chris. Per tech line if customer wants to increase the temp in the oven they need to cancel their cycle, restart it with the increased temp. Same goes for the broil, cancel cycle and set to broil. I temp checked unit and verified things are cycling, broil element energizes and heats fine, with preheat completing in < 20 mins. This is working as designed. Call complete as no failure are present."

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling in the RC correctly. I checked the RC thermistors and found the evaporator thermistor at -2 degrees and the FC thermistor showing 39 degrees with the compartment temp at 58 degrees at the upper shelf. I checked the temp at the thermistor with my air probe and it showed 38 degrees so the RC thermistor is registering within range. I found frost on the exterior of the cover and by the thermistor indicating the coil is frosted up again. I tested the fans and they were running but didn’t seem to be running at full speed. I checked voltage to the fans from the main control and it was only sending 7VDC and should have been 12.7VDC. I changed out the main control. "Arrived on site for fridge not cooling. I spoke with the customer about the original symptoms of the unit. C us timer stated the unit started by not cooling in the freezer, and than the fresh food section wasn’t cooling. I gained access to the compressor in the back. I plugged the unit in and did an amp draw on the compressor, I am showing .4 amps. Ok tested the voltage to the compressor and it shows 120v, I swapped in my good start device and the compressor still didn’t turn on and showed a .4 amp draw. "Arrived on site to install previously diagnosed and ordered parts. Due to the RC ice maker intermittently dispensing too much water and flooding the fridge with water, I was to remove and replace the ice maker, UI, & HV control. When I went to replace the ice maker, I found where the fill tube heater had shorted and burnt the fill tube and ice box cover and the cover was cracked. Also found where the cabinet above the ice maker in the area of the fill tube had burn marks but was not damaged beyond repair. I advised the customer of my findings and am ordering the fill tube heater, fill tube, icebox cover and will return with previously diagnosed parts. Upon further inspection, customer advised that they recently had solar panels installed and since the refrigerator has been tripping the breaker. Also advised that the solar panel people have inspected the panels and wiring and an electrician has changed out the breaker. I checked voltage at the outlet and got 123V. Placed unit in diagnostics and tested the compressor, defrost element, and ice maker and the unit operated as designed and could not duplicate complaint. Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that still not cooling properly in the RC. I found the fan running properly when I arrived. I tested the RC temp when I walked in and found it at 43 degrees with the sealed system components running. I monitored the temp in the RC with the control set to the coldest setting. The temp would not drop below 43 degrees. I checked the temp out of the air inlet into the RC and found it at 1.4 degrees. The customer had the refrigerator in the corner so I pulled it out and inspected the door gasket. I found a large air gap on the left hinge side. The customer stated the door had been reversed. I heated the gasket and remolded it to seal against the chassis. I instructed the customer to not open the door until the next day to allow the gasket time to get cold and hold its shape. Call complete.
