Customer said they were baking and the timer began to do “crazy” things and the date keeps changing. I placed the unit in diagnostics and checked error codes and found none. I noticed the unit is not connected to WiFi. Due to the failures the customer is describing, I removed and replaced the main control and programmed the date/time. Tested the components in diagnostics then tested the unit on Bake at 350. Unit is operating as designed. Recommended that the customer connect the unit to WiFi and provided them with the whirlpool WiFi team number if they needed assistance. Job completed."

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDT750SAKZ0 Arrived onsite for a dishwasher that the lower rack will not come all the way out and the spray arm is broken. The customer stated the spray arm came out and had jammed the rack but they figured out what happened and removed the spray arm. I found the lower rack in good condition. I found where the lower arm had come out and fell on the heater melting the plastic not allowing the arm to go into the sump. I replaced the arm and locked it in. The unit is working as designed. I went over use and care with the customer. Call complete.

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDF750SAYM0 "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not draining. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit wouldn’t drain and water leaked out from the front. I pressed the cancel button and when the drain pump came on, I could hear something in the pump rattling. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F9E1. Cleared the code and continued with testing. Once the unit dispensed water into the tub and the motor came on, water began to leak from the sump underneath the unit. I turned the drain pump on and due to the amount of water leaking, the drain pump could not work fast enough to get the water out. Using my wet vac, I vacuumed the water out from the unit and from underneath. I removed the drain pump and vacuumed the pump area and debris came out. I placed the drain pump back in place and tested it and it is operating as designed. I found the rinse aid dispenser cap is missing as well. the sump/motor assembly & dispenser I am order

I found the RC coil frosting up again and the frost closed off the return air vents in the evaporator cover. I tested the thermistors and all checked good with correct resistance vs temperature. I checked the drain tube for warm air leaks and restrictions and found it in good condition. I found the evaporator fan working properly. I found the 3 way valve working properly. I found evidence where the frost was starting on the bottom left and working towards the right side. I explained to the customer this was being caused by the drip pan because it’s bowed and holding water on the left side. I explained that the drip pan was not available at this time. I installed two shims between the evaporator cover and the drip pan to get the bow out of the drip pan. I cleared the frost. I found the washer with water still in it and the rinse light illuminated. I cancelled the cycle and the unit drained. I ran 4 back to back auto diagnostics test and the unit completed all of the cycles and worked as designed. The pump is removing the water quickly. I explained to the customer that I suspect either to much detergent was used or there is residual detergent build up in the tub causing the issue. DISHWASHER MAYTAG MDB9959SKZ0 arrived on site for dishwasher that was not drain the water out. After verifying model and serial number I did find that there was a service Poyner for this unit regarding the F 91 error code relating to the draining issue. Technical Service Pointer #: W11482561. After running diagnostics on the unit I found that the main control was sending the proper power down to the drain pump but the drain pump in her propeller was broken and not functioning when it was activated. We will need to order the new drain pump in office to reschedule due to part being out of stock PSP; ordrng 1 W11412663 (DRAIN PUMP)

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED49STBW1 Arrived on site for dryer not heating. After further inspection of the jar I found that the two thermal limit cut off‘s as well as thermal fuses timer and heating element were all functioning as designed and the unit was receiving 240 V when I took the back panel off of the dryer I found that the heating elements housing assembly that mounts the heating element to the dryer head detached itself from the back bulkhead of the dryer itself not allowing the heat to properly vent into the drum of the dryer I reattached the bulkhead and made sure it was secure with a new screw and washer. Upon arrival I went ahead and double check that the power outlet was receiving the full 240 V that it needed to make it to the dryer. After checking all seating hardware components such as thermostats fuses heating element timer etc. I was able to confirm that all the hardware on the unit was working as designed. I was able to determine that the power cord to the dryer had a short in it within it. I informed customer of my findings and they stated that they are going to go to the store on their own and purchase a power cord and install it hthemselves on the dryer. Call complete

OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOD51ES4ES01 Arrived on site for an upper oven that is not heating properly and the a lower oven doesn’t run through a self clean. Inspected unit and work area. Placed unit in service diagnostics and checked both bake element. Both elements were working as designed. Checked unit for Eric codes and found no storage era codes. Customer advised that the unit seemingly was about 15° off in the upper oven and they were having to cook their food for longer than they would in the lower oven. Calibrated oven to adjust for temperature change. Customer also advised that their lower oven did not work for the self clean. Accessed owners manual and found that the cell phone option only works for the upper oven.
