I tested all of the burners and found the middle burner was the only burner that would not ignite. I removed the burnerhead and disassembled the cap from the head and found a small amount of cooking grease/oils on the underside of the cap and in the burnerhead gas ports. I cleaned the assembly and reassembled the cap and head and retested. The burner would ignite, but it took a while for it to do so. I removed the burnerhead and cleaned the orifice holder and ignitor and placed the burnerhead back in place and retested and the unit is operating as designed. "WRS325SDHZ08. Customer stated the ice maker was only dropping ice about 3 times a day. Found the fill tube partially blocked with a chunk of ice; removed ice and cycled ice maker. Ice maker dumped ice and filled the tray with the proper amount of water. Customer also stated ice would get stuck in the ice door. Customer had recently replaced the water filter. Advised customer that a clogged filter can cause the fill tube to not have enough water, which can lead to seepage, ice buildup, and blocking the fill tube. Also advised that if the freezer is too cold, the ice tray can flex and shatter ice into small chunks instead of cubes, which may lodge in the door until it melts; same issue can occur with crushed ice. Advised customer to always check the door and chute for lodged ice if using crushed ice. Refrigerator is working as intended. No leaks at the time of service."

"Arrived on site to inspect microwave with unusual or burning smell. Upon further inspection, I gained access to and inspected the microwave inner components. Components tested good and showed no signs of burn or discoloration. I found a moderate amount a grease buildup on the front grille and grille above the control. I found some grease had gotten on the control at some point and on I wiped the grille and above the control so that there would not be futher flowing of grease onto the control area. I tested the microwave several times and it is operating without issue and all components are operating as designed. I called Saftey to document 22021049."

Per previous techs diagnosis, I evacuated the system and removed and replaced the condenser coils, compressor, access valve and non-UV drier (included with the compressor kit). I vacuumed thensystem down to -30/0 psi and monitored pressures. The pressures held good and I installed 4.5oz of R134a refrigerant and then tested the unit in test 40. The unit is operating as designed and pressures were good. I recommended that the customer allow the unit to cool for approximately 36-48 hours before placing food items inside. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the ice maker is making too much ice and even when they turn the ice maker off at the emitter/receiver boards, the ice maker continues to make ice and overflows the ice bin. I advised the customer that I would have to order the emitter/receiver boards and our office would contact them to schedule the return service. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator WRS315SDHM13 with a loud compressor. Upon further inspection, I found the unit with power, but the compressor and fans were not on. I cycled power to the unit and placed it in diagnostics and tested. When the compressor and fans came on, I could hear the evaporator fan and is was somewhat loud, but normal for this model. I gained access to the evaporator and found a perfect frost pattern and no ice build up on the evaporator or around the fan blades. I found the gasket seals around the evap cover were smashed and causing little to no support from the evaporator heat shield, which over time will start to make a vibration noise. Using the sounds pounds prescreened for today's service, I placed the pads on the inside of the evap cover to provide better support and padding in between the shield and cover. Re-installed the evap cover and retested. The unit is much quieter and the builder arrived and approved of the noise. Unit is operating as designed and no water leaks observed during service, job completed. The home is a new build and vacant home. W11113654-4x"

"Ice machine KUIX535HPS01 was reported by the customer as not making ice. They had turned off the unit prior to service. I ran the unit through diagnostics, testing the mister and evaporator, and all passed. Conducted a cooling test, confirming the evaporator plate was cooling and freezing over. Reset the unit, instructed the customer on running the clean cycle, and started it with cleaning solution. Advised them to drain the reservoir after completion, refill, and run a second clean cycle to rinse. Unit is working as intended. NO WATER LEAKS OBSERVED DURING SERVICE."

"MGD7230HC3. Customer stated the dryer was taking several hours to dry a load of towels, even after trying multiple cycles. Set unit on timed dry, high heat; gas ignited but only for 5-7 seconds, cycling multiple times. Removed dryer vent and retested; cycle functioned properly with gas on for 20-25 seconds. Verified temperature reached 185?F, cycled off at 110?F; allowed three consecutive cycles. Issue likely in dryer venting, wall piping, or roof jack flap not opening properly. Advised customer accordingly. Dryer functioning as normal. No gas leaks detected at times of service."

"Arrived on site to inspect range WFES3030RS0 oven tripping the breaker. Upon further inspection, I found the unit properly installed and the display showing the correct time. The customer advised that while using the oven on Bake, after a few minutes the breaker will trip. I pulled the unit out and gained access to the terminal block and wiring harness at the back of the unit. I found the power cord harness wires wrapped around each other at the junction box and corrected it. I removed the ground and performed a burnout on Bake at 500 degrees and the unit completed the preheat burnout. I reconnected thd ground and allowed the unit to cool then performed another burnout out on Bake at 500 degrees and the unit completed the 2nd preheat burnout. I allowed thd unit to heat for approximately 20 minutes and thd unit is operating as designed. I contacted Whirlpool Safety and spoke to Deb and advised of the complaint, my testings, and my findings. Case #21989176. I recommended that should the breaker trip again the customer needs to notify their builder to have the breaker replaced before calling it in for service. Job completed."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer MVW4505MW2 error codes. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F8E1-long fill. I cleared the code and continued with testing and found when the valve is engaged, water leaks out for the top panel and down the front panel on the left side upper corner. When the unit began to drain, water began to back flow out of the stand pipe. I stopped testing and advised the customer of my findings. I inspected the valve and the fill tube and found calcium deposits built up on the openings of the fill tube causing the water to be sprayed out and poured into the tube assembly. I removed and replaced the inlet valve and calibrated the unit. Retested and the unit is operating as designed. Water continued to back flow out of the stand pipe. No water leaks observed at the end of service from the unit, job completed. W11513255"
