Found that there was a piece of tin foil stuck on the filter causing it to bind up during removal. Replaced filter with customer provided filter and tested good. No leaks present. Complete.

I placed the new thermistor into the ice and found it reading 8.7 kohms. The thermistor will need to be replaced to stop ice production. I replaced the failed thermistor and tested resistance, resistance showed 8.9 kohms when I its proper place.

"Arrived on site for refrigerator that’s leaking from the water dispenser. Inspected unit and work area. I called tech line and spoke to Rick SR :# 727762483. He advised to check the door water connector for any air gaps. If that wasn’t causing the issue, he advised to check polarity at the wall to ensure that voltage wasn’t being sent and diverted towards the water valve. If that wasn’t the case, he advised to just check from the water valve voltage to ensure the valve wasn’t receiving voltage from the control when the water dispenser paddle was pressed. If there was voltage, the issue would leak water because the valve wouldn’t close fully. Finally, if that wasn’t the problem, he advised checking from the valve going to the water dispenser and pulling off the water line connections for find the leak. Tested polarity at the wall and found proper polarity. Removed back water valve cover and tested voltage to the dispenser valve. Found unit getting 23

Checked unit through diagnostics prior to replacing control and found average temperatures for RC at 35°, FC at 2°, and icebox at 5°. "Arrived on site to diagnose washer that was not spinning or agitating. Performed diagnostic on unit. Found that when in diag mode and trying to run, the lid lock kept clicking itself on and off repeatedly. Replaced lid lock and control. Retested unit. Lock engaged and unit began the process. Could hear motor noises but not any movement. Accessed underside of machine and found belt had slipped off, cut through the shield and almost shredded. Attempted to reassemble cage and belt and retest. Heard loud noises coming from both motor and gearcase. Need to order gearcase, splutch, motor, belt, cage to resolve bottom end.
