Attempted to jump icemaker and unit would not turn on. Tested voltage going from L to N on the icemaker and found no voltage. Removed icemaker and found icemaker harness not connected with the icemaker. Attempted to reconnect icemaker but found the harness not securing onto the icemaker properly causing the harness to pull out of the icemaker when screwed into the side wall. Replaced icemaker and harness together and tested unit. Unit cycled and failed and is working as designed. Call complete.

WASHER MAYTAG MVWC465HW2 Arrived on site for washer that had a hole in the outer tub assembly as well as making a grinding noise when spin cycle according to customer. After further inspection of the unit I was able to verify that there is a quarter size hole on the back Left corner of the outer tub inside the cavity of the washer I attempted to pull the outer tub out of the unit to verify if it was still salvageable and found that in the process the hub head cracked and the outer tub would not separate from the inner tub around the gear case. We will need to return with a gear case inner and outer tub as well as other hardware to complete a full rebuild on the washer. Placed in service diagnostics and found in E42 and an E48 (over trip/over current, motor over temp or heat sink over temp). Ran the unit through a high speed spin and customer advised that the unit doesnt do it every cycle but it is very intermittent. I see Ben would run for five minutes without fail. I called GE tech line and spoke to Trevor (no SR number). He had me running a check through the motor to make sure the motor wasnt at fault. He advised that the motor winding was a little low but within range. He advised to replace the inverter and if there were still ongoing issues to replace the motor. Got authorization from the office to replace the inverter and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Customer advised that she thinks the issue is with a sock that had dropped inside her lint trap. She said that she tried to remove it but was unable to. Attempted to spin the basket by hand was able to spin it one way but not the other. Removed the front panel and found a sock stuck in your blower housing causing the motor and blower wheel not to be able to turn. Removed sock and reassembled unit. Installed both and found after steaming away ice ball around evaporator thermistor that the compressor is failing and not moving refrigerant properly. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF757SDHZ00 Arrived onsite for refrigerator with some intermittent compressor issues according to the maintenance staff. Upon inspection I found both compartments seemingly at correct temps the resident had both doors to the RC open when I arrived so I was not able to take temp readings. I put the unit into diagnostics and tested all thermistors. All passed. When I tried test 4 I noticed the condenser fan kicked on but the compressor did not. I accessed the compressor and noticed it would intermittently not start. I replaced the start device and capacitor and the compressor cycled on as designed. I could not find any other issues. The ice bin was full of ice and I could not see any frost build up on or around either evaporator. I advised them to keep an eye on the unit and to let us know if any more issues arise. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

WASHER MAYTAG MVWC465HW0 Arrived on site for washer that was not completing the cycles in Pearlridge Center employees they had stated that the customer support to them was that it was not little walking when it should and not advancing to recycle. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostics check and found that there was an F0 E4 error code Indicating that the temperatures during the rinse cycle were exceeding 105° and getting too hot. Unfortunately while on site there was no water connections for me to connect the washer to and verify how the functionality of the valve was opening and shutting but I was able to Run test number five in the schematics to test the temperature water sensor and found that it was 51 Ohms and within safe ranges of current sensor temp. I also ran a diagnostic manual test and auto test and found that during the spin and agitation cycles the gear case was grinding internally and underneath the gear case the splutch is dropping down from the gear case and rubbing against

DRYER MAYTAG MED5500FC0 Arrived onsite for dryer with no power. Upon inspection I found one of the wires at the term block had come loose. I corrected the wiring and was able to restore some power to the unit. The unit would spin and all lights and UI powered up but would not heat. when I tested voltage under a load at the terminal block I found only 17 mV from L1 to L2 when 240Vac would be the correct voltage to operate this unit. I advised the resident to have a licensed electrician come inspect the outlet and circuit before we investigate the dryer any further.

I checked the capillary size and it showed to be 1.87mm to 1.89mm but when trying to install the drier with a 1.8mm x 6NK fitting I found it breaking so I installed it using a 2mm x 6NK fitting. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 3.7 ozs of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and frost pattern. The unit is working as designed. Found freezer evaporator completely frosted over and used service diagnostics to check the defrost circuit. Found do you from circuit shorted/closed. Attempted to place unit in a forest defrost and found the default to your not picking on even though the defrost by metal was completely covered in ice. Tested voltage going to the heater and found no voltage. Checked heater and found heater resistance at 31 Ohms. Checked voltage at the evaporator harness and found no voltage. Spoke with SW and was advised to check the control voltage. And replace the control if voltage wasnt coming from the control. Found no voltage coming to the heater or defrost circuit at the control and replace the control. Tested unit and a force defrost again and found the heater not kicking on. Upon further inspection after arrival I found that in the top right corner of the freezer door the muley and bar in conjunction to work next to the top of the cabinet itself was slightly recessed pass the top cabinet and had a tiny little air leak allowing hot air to pass through door. I added some silicone to the top right corner because the top of the frame of cabinet cant be pulled out or reshaped.

OVEN WHIRLPOOL WOS51EC0HS02 Arrived onsite for wall oven showing fan speed error. Upon inspection I found the stored error codes for fan speed. I went to component activation and attempted to run the fan but it just made a humming noise when engaged.I was able to access the fan blower from the front of the unit and spin it with my hand . I noticed it felt like it was binding before I spun it and then it came loose and spun freely. I replaced the main control and restored power to the unit. I was able to activate the fan in both settings. I tested the unit in preheat and its now heating as designed and the cool fan turns on when called for. No errors present at this time.

Placed unit in diagnostics and tested ice maker and it failed. I tested the bin switch and ice maker on/off switch and both were good. I inspected the harness at the left door bottom hinge and found the outer protective tubing was cut and the tan wire, too the IM, was broken. I attempted to repair the wire, but due to the break being right at the elbow of the hinge, I could not get enough slack in the wire to mend together. I placed electrical tape around the harness to help protect from any further damage. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."
