"Arrived on site for a washing machine not spinning/agitating properly. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit would intermittently not ring out their clothes. He also stated sometimes it would shake and walk a little bit. I gained access to the bottom of the unit and found that the shifter had popped off of the cam. I temporarily fixed this and will be ordering a new one to install per service pointer W11531483. After, I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F0E5 for off balance load and F7E6 for motor fault. I cleared the error codes. I advised the customer on proper loading the unit per user care guide. I then ran a test cycle on the unit and found no other failing parts. I manually activated the spin and agitate and found it temporarily working as designed. No leaks observed at the time of service. Will return with already ordered parts. "Arrived on site to inspect dryer noises. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit makes a squealing noise when it has a load in it. I turned the unit on and the noise would not duplicate. I disassembled the unit and found the belt, both rollers and the tension pulley were badly worn. I moved and replaced the rollers, tension pulley and belt and cleaned the lint from inside the unit. Reassembled the unit and tested and unit is operating as designed. Arrived on site for a dryer not heating well. I used my vent test kit and found poor airflow for all dryers. I also measured temp fluctuations with my thermocouple and found very slow fluctuations. This indicates a blockage at the wall and I advised the customer they may want to get it checked out. I found the unit working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived onsite for microwave turning on by itself. Upon inspection found loose interlock. Interlock switch was causing fan to kick on when cycle hadn?t started. Secured interlock and tested. Also notified customer that the unit has a sensor that will trigger the blower fan to kick on if the temperature from the cooktop reaches a certain point. The fan should be allowed to stay on until temperature cools. Tested unit and unit is functioning properly. Job complete

Found strong odor when opening unit, drain line partially restricted, drain line not properly installed for back flow, inside door panel warped. "Arrived on site for rf condensation on both doors leaking onto middle door the gasket on the right side has recently been replaced. Issue continues every day. Called tech line upon arrival and spoke to Bruce. Bruce had me place the fridge in diagnostics and run test 40. In test 40 the selection reflected 01. Bruce had me change it to 02. Now horizontal mullion will remain on at all times now that 02 has been selected. He then had me run test 34 and the selection already showed 02 reflecting the vertical mullion was always on. Our tech placed the vertical mullion in 02 in May of 2020 to keep vertical mullion on at all times. Tech line also had me confirm the temperature inside the home. Used my thermocouple to take temps inside the home and it was 77 degrees. Tech line stated anytime the fridge is inside a room with temps above 74 degrees condensation is normal in these areas where condensation has been found today and in past visits. Tech line stated if the customer keeps there home at or below 74 degrees the condensation will not be as prevalent or not here at all. With both mullion heaters being on full time this should make a difference on how much condensation is found along with keeping the temperature at 74 degrees or below. If customer keeps the home warmer than 74, condensation is to be expected. Job completed. Bruce SR# 7731077344"

"Arrived on site for an ice machine making no ice. Upon arrival the customer stated that the unit is remaining cool, but not producing ice after a clean cycle. Upon further inspection I found the service light was not blinking. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found both the bin and evap thermistors reading good. I then turned on the water valve and found it working as designed. However, upon further inspection I found the bin already full of water and the valve ran several minutes still. The LED light continued to flash indicating an empty bucket even with a full bin. The recirculating pump ran as designed and so did the drain pump. I found a good frost pattern and the condenser fan turned on. I also found hot gas valve working. This indicates only a faulty water level sensor, and it will need to be replaced to function correctly.No leaks observed at the time of service. Arrived on site for water dispenser chattering. I inspected the unit and work area. I found both valves chattering when dispensing water. I replaced both water valves and adjust the water line. I found the chatter is gone. I spoke to the customer about it the chattering comes back to install a water pressure reducer. Job complete.

"Arrived onsite for washer draining and agitator issues. Upon arrival put unit in diagnostics and found no stored error codes. Ran auto test and all passed. Ran individual agitation slow/fast and spin slow/fast, all passed. Inspected agitator dogs and were still in good shape. Filled unit and drained with no issue. Did find drain nose inserted over 12 in into standpipe so made adjustment to recommended 4 in. Could not duplicate any issues. Arrived on site for dw door wont stay flat when loading dishes on bottom rack/trim inside door at top sticks out on one side. Found right side door hinge pad had broken off. Upon inspection found the right side hinge making direct contact with the cavity of dishwasher. Used pliers to gently pull the right side hinge away from the cavity to prevent the pad from rubbing so hard against the cavity. Installed new pads and door opens and closes as designed. Door was not off center and door was properly mounted to the counter. Inspected hinges to make sure they were mounted properly and it looked good. Job completed.

"Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher not operating. Upon further inspection, the customer demonstrated how the unit will turn on but the start button doesnt work. I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and it failed. I removed the outer door panel and found where some liquid had leaked into the interior of the door and gotten on the keypad ribbon and shorted it out.

Arrived on site for an ice machine that is making ice slowly. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does continue to run and make ice but that the unit hasn?t filled the bin in a week. I did ask the customer if they are still consistently using ice out of the bin and he advised they are. He had a concern about the unit draining in the back of the bin causing ice to melt. I did inform him that that is normal when the unit does drain the water reservoir. Ran through the diagnostic test and found all the components of the machine working properly. I did notice the unit is in a cabinet that barely fits the ice machine. The surrounding cabinet of the ice machine was pretty warm to touch indicating that there is restricted airflow from the condenser fan to remove the heat. I did advise the customer that that could be partially causing their issue. I called tech line and spoke to Dustin SR# 7731073239. He advised that the issue appeared to be an issue with installation and usage. He advised to have the customer make sure the cabinet holding the unit is wide enough and has enough clearance for the unit to have proper airflow.Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for a washing machine that won?t spin out clothes. Inspected unit and work area. Please do not in service diagnostics and found an F7 E1 b(basket speed fault), F0 E5 (off balance load), and F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. I ran the unit through a manual high speed spin and found the agitator spinning and the basket skipping. Attempted to remove the agitator and found the agitator completely locked onto the driveshaft. Attempted to remove with vice grips and a dryer belt but was unable to. Lifted up on the inner basket and found the basket hitting the agitator indicating the inner spline of the basket was broken too. Tried to break the agitator free that way but was unable to as well. Unit will need a full rebuild for repair

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is flashing an F1 E1 error code. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and found the unit flashing that code for a main control fault as soon as you press start. Got authorization from a S to replace the main control. Replaced main control and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to inspect venthood noises. Upon further, the customer turned the unit on high speed and I could hear what sounded like something rubbing on the blower wheel. I removed the blower and found a mounting screw above the wheel that was down too far and was rubbing on the wheel. I adjusted the screw/backed it out and reinstalled the blower and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Job completed."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that won?t lock the lid. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit does lock the lid but continuously fills and makes a clicking sound when agitation. Inspected underneath the unit and found the shifter completely detached from the cam. Replaced shifter with truck stock shifter and tested unit. Unit began working as designed. Arrived on site and inspected washer not allowing the customer to make selections. Confirmed the complaint and cycled power and even attempted diagnostics test mode and unit never moved from the delicates cycle. Even tried rotating the selector knob and unit simply beep twice constantly F8E1 Long fill and F2E1 Stuck button. I attempted the encoder test to try and isolate the stuck key and unit still didnt allow me to access and specific cycles. Order the complete console W11112656 to complete the repair and will return with the valve for the long fill error. Needs more work ; ordrng 1 W11112656 (CONSOLE)

"Arrived on site for dryer not allowing proper lint screen placement. Upon arrival I found lint screen removed and a major clog sitting within lint exhaust. Upon further disassembly in dryer I found no evidence that the clog had caused any hardware failures after finishing tests I found nothing other then the lint exhaust clogged causing lint screen not to sit properly. After reporting findings to customer, they stated they would rather clear clog themselves. I then finished reassembling unit.

"Arrived on site and inspected newly purchased washer that wont allow the customer to make any selections. I confirmed the complaint and found the console has a stuck power key , deeming the unit inoperable. I couldnt make any selections at all even after cycling the units power on and off several times. Ordering the console and controls that sit behind the console. Multiple parts are PSP, so office will reschedule return services. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator ice maker not working. Upon further inspection, the customer advised thst the ice maker is working fine; its the dispenser thats not working again. I tested the dispenser and it failed to function properly. I removed the ice bin and retested the dispenser and the motor failed to turn. I removed the ice maker/housing and attempted to turn the motor by hand and it is seized. Also found the solenoid getting stuck and the right RC door gasket is torn. Contacted techline and spoke to Andrew and advised of the compliant, previous repairs, and my findings. Andrew had me check voltage to the motor and I got 120V. Andrew recommended replacing the motor again and ordering it from Whirlpool stock and also order the divider and yoke/impeller just in case. Provided SR#7731070861. I advised my customer of the conversation and recommendations. I am ordering the dispenser motor, divider, impeller, solenoid and right RC door gasket and CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. Office to schedule return service. Arrived on site for a microwave that won?t heat. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint and tested high-voltage components. Found the magnetron out of range. Replace the magnetron and tested unit. The unit began working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site for wall oven not allowing upper oven to kick on. Upon arrival ran diagnostics but found no codes. Upon further disassembly I found no voltage coming from main control to any upper oven hardware. (Lower oven worked great) I tested t.o.d. Sensors to upper and lower oven and found resistance and continuity both within needed specs. Also found upper oven temp sensor and lower sensor ohming each between 1.093 & 1.094 ohms each at room temp. Also found both elements to upper and lower ovens werent broken and had great resistance according to 27.4 ohm when compared to tech sheet. During repairs I found u it had shown signs of previous repairs. During removal of main control I found trim and mounted bracket to ui were both broken and barely hanging in place and able to cover hv control properly. Due to nature of repairs will need autho for control, trim and panel. Office to reaching once ahs autho and Availability of parts is known; ordrng 1 WP8301848 (Main control) and 1 WP8302848 (Panel) and 1 WPW10172165 (Trim)"

Arrived on site to remove main control for rebuild . Upon arrival removed board. Will need office to send to whirlpool and reschedule once board is shipped back to us.; O-emld tckt

Arrived on site for cooktop needing previously diagnosed burner parts. Upon arrival I was able to remove and install a new from middle burner. I was not able to safely remove the front right burner. All the screws (including the middle burner that is repaired) are seized to the point that they are crumbling when turned. In order to safely repair unit the front three manifolds will need to be replaced to due to how the burners will need to be drilled out and removed. Arrived back on site to inspect a washer in the 3rd floor laundry center.Confirmed the complaint and found the lid lock was broken again due to guests of the hotel forcing the lid up before the lid latch and control unlock the unit.
