But seemed to be the correct height. I inspected the orf holder under the orifice and I found t very dirty and greasy which would cause a gas flow restriction making the hissing sound. I confirmed a refrigerant leak in the evaporator at the factory bend in the tubing just below the weld joint on the suction side. I found the unit with 20 psi of pressure setting idle and in home position. I recovered the refrigerant. I replaced the evaporator and vacuumed the system. The system held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 6.00 oz’s of R134A. I tested the unit and had a great frost pattern and the unit is working as designed. Call complete.

After further inspection I found that there were no diagnostic errors but the water valve was overheating during the test cycle and not long enough water to pass through I replace the valve but in the process the fill line going into the valve would not properly disconnect from the quick connect the held it in place. I found that internally the water valves been overheating and causing certain parts to wear down so whenever I pull the hose out of the quick connect the Quick connect came with it and tore part of the hose we will need to return with the fill tub hose for the unit. .; ordrng 1 W11256498 (tube-water)

Upon further inspection, customer advised the unit is tripping the breaker during the last cycle which would be spin/drain. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706ESS01 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator leaking and ice in freezer. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that there is water in the bottom of the refrigerator section and leaking into the freezer through the door gasket. I found that the RC evaporator drip pan drain hole is clogged and the defrosted water has nowhere to go. I pulled the unit from the wall and removed the ack panel to inspect the drain tube. Removed the drain tube and found it clogged with debris. Removed the debris and placed silicone around the edge of the drain tube to help seal the gap. Also found two spots on the back panel that have insulation void and are sweating badly. Advised the customer of my findings. Disassembled the RC section and removed the ice from the evap drip pan. Cleaned leftover water and reassembled the RC section. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

Customer advised that her issue is this ice forming at the bottom of the freezer. Found drain hole plug up with ice. Removed back cover and blew out an obstruction out of the drain hose. Steamed out unit and could not get water to be removed from the freezer section. Steamed from underneath the unit as well as on the top and was unable to get water to flow down to the drain pan. Customer stated that they turned off ice maker and when turned back on it taken 48 hours to produce ice. Measured temperature in ice area at 14.5°. Measured temperature in FC at 1°. Checked temperature settings and found set at 36° in RC and 0° in FC. Performed diagnostics mode, checked ice maker fault codes and found E2 motor lost position. Advanced ice maker harvest and found ice dropped and cycle ended at home position. Ran fill cycle and found restriction in fill tube line. Removed fill tube from inlet valve and found frozen. Measured fill tube heater and found at 55.4 ohms. Tested voltage to heater and found 120 volts. Added foil insulated tape to fill tube line to keep from freezing. Tested all operations, all tested good. No water leaks detected."

RANGE WHIRLPOOL WFE505W0HB1 "Arrived on site to inspect range burning smells. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the unit began to smoke and have a smell when they tried to use the oven. I pulled the unit from the wall and removed the terminal block cover and found the L1 and L2 harness connectors not tight. The L2 (red wire) was burnt from its connector. I tightened the connectors and added a “Y” connector to the L2 wire and retightened it. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that I am going to order a main harness and terminal block and recommended that the customer purchase a new four prong power cord before I return, so I can install the power cord when replacing the harness and block. I advised the customer of my repairs be temporary until I can return to replace the harness.
