After reassembling the unit the light still will not come on. WASHER WHIRLPOOL MHW5630HW0 "Arrived on site to inspect washer error code. Upon further inspection, I found the unit stacked with the dryer. Removed the dryer and removed the top of the washer and tested. Once in diagnostics, unit showed error codes F4E1 & F5E2. Cleared the codes and continued with testing. The unit door locked and unlocked and showed error code F4E1 again. I checked the heater and it showed 19ohms. I checked continuity to the harness and it was good. I removed and replaced the main control ad retested and unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon inspection I found the unit had a stored error code of F9E2 indicating a issue with the pressure sensing system. I accessed the main control removed the pressure hose and blew through it. I also replaced the valve due to the complaint of LF. I could not recreate a failure and all tests passed through diagnostics. I advised the customer to monitor the unit and let us know if the failure returns. I also advised them on soap usage and the issue could have been caused by over sudds in the machine. In the event of a call back please request AUTHO for main control replace. Job complete.

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED6620HC1 Arrived onsite for dryer that leaks water in the front during steam cycles. Upon inspection I found the unit heating and spinning as designed. I put the unit into diagnostics and found no stored error codes. I engaged the automatic test cycle and I found the steam function would spray water against the door causing water to leak out to bottom. Due to a recent inquiry with techline I advised the customer that they would have to put larger loads on the unit while using the steam function so the water doesn’t reach the front door I also turned the pressure down on that valve to help with the spraying. The resident stated that the steam function turns on while not selected. I ran a regular cycle on normal and could not recreate the steam without being selected. Reducing the pressure seemed to help the situation. Job complete.

WASHER MAYTAG MHWE900VJ00 "Arrived onsite for washer that won’t respond to commands. Upon inspection I found the unit dead with standing water and would not power on. I unplugged the unit and plugged back into a different outlet on the wall. I was able the power on the unit and enter diagnostics. I found a stored error code for a pressure sensor failure. The pressure sensor had been replaced 2 years prior so it may be stored from that time period. I ran a diagnostics test and all tests completed with no errors. I inspected all connectors and harness for shorts or misconnections but found everything was seated as designed. I could not recreate a failure today but advised the customer to monitor the unit and let us know if it dies again being plugged into the different outlet. I tested the original outlet and the voltage bounced around I advised that if the other outlet works they will need to have the original one serviced by a licensed electrician.

I disassembled the unit and found the element metal plate badly warped and not continuity to the element. I tested the fuse and cutoffs and they were good. Also found the rollers and tension pulley roller were badly gunked up and needed to be replaced. The belt was good. I removed and replaced the element and all four rollers and tension pulley roller and tested. Unit is operating as designed. Cleaned the lint from the unit. Rollers and tension pulley roller come from my van stock. (4392067). Job completed."

REFRIGERATOR MAYTAG MSD2572VEW00 Arrived on site for ICEMAKER IS OVERFILLING WITH WATER AND LEAKING AND CREATING ICECICLESCustomer had turned off the ice maker approximately 6 months ago when they found icecicles on the front of the ice maker along with a block of ice that formed inside the ice bucket. I jumped the ice maker to harvest ice and when it called for water the proper amount came out and filled the mold. I also inspected the inlet valve and it looked good. No leaks detected. Job completed.

REFRIGERATOR FRIGIDAIRE FRT21S6JS0 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the FC evaporator engulfed in ice/frost. I tests the defrost timer and it is operating as designed. I tested ohms to the element and found it open. Once I removed the ice m the evaporator, I found the element burnt out in several spots. I removed and replaced the element and bimetal and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer give the unit at least 24 hours to cool completely. No water leaks observed during service, job completed"

When I turned the unit on, I found a large amount of water coming from the left side of the unit around the fill tube. I pulled the unit out and found the fill tube not connected to the tub inlet. Using a clamp, I reattached the hose to the tub and secured it with the clamp. No further water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

I think I just need to be educated on what cycles to use for what. This machine is VERY temperamental.Placed washer in diagnostics and no error codes came on. Ran a normal cycle with hot water and then with cold water. Water levels are normal. Customer will make sure to include multiple items going forward to give the washer a chance to balance itself and recalibrate in order to avoid unbalanced loads.

RANGE GE JGB660EEJ4ES Arrived on site for an oven that is not heating properly and has a partial display missing. Inspected unit and work area. Tested unit on a normal 350°F bake and found the igniter and the gas valve coming on properly. The customer advised that the unit does he but that the center of her oven doesn’t get as hot as the edges of her oven. She advised it has always done this but wanted to know if there’s was something causing this. I advised her that the reason why is because the gas comes in at the sides under the cover plate and that because of where the heat comes in there are going to be hot spots in her oven. I advised her that we’ve been told by the manufacturers that she needs to be moving her food around inside the oven while it’s baking and to not leave it in one place due to this issue. Found display board not completing numbers on two of the number displays. Replaced control and tested unit. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

DISHWASHER WHIRLPOOL WDT750SAHZ0 "Arrived on site to inspect dishwasher over heating and upper rack falling. Upon further inspection, I found the tub badly bent/warped at the door opening. I found the door gasket missing and wrapped around the top of the tub. I found the rivets holding the tub together at the opening had popped out. I found the bottom of the outer door panel badly dented. When I pulled the upper rack out, the wheels came unattached from the adjusters due to the tub being bent/warped at the opening causing the rails to widen at the opening of the unit. Tested unit in diagnostics and the unit operated as designed, but it is leaking water at both bottom corners at the front due to the gasket missing and the tub and door being badly dented/damaged. Upon arrival I ran tests 56-59 and found an e2 error code show up Indicating the ice maker motor failed to locate the home position. After running multiple tests I found the ice maker motor was receiving proper voltage but the motor wouldn’t rotate. We will need to return with a new ice maker. Customer also stated they have been having an issue with the ice maker bucket falling apart. Upon inspecting I couldn’t replicate the issue but informed customer that once we had the ice maker repair and could test functionality further we would see how the bucket preformed then.
