I attempted to placed the unit in diagnostics and the unit would turn the drain pump on. I removed the outer door panel and unplugged the vent and attempted to place in diagnostics and the unit responded. It show3d error codes F2E1 & F5E1. Cleared the codes and continued with testing and the unit operated as designed. When I plugged the vent back in and retested, the unit would not respond. I removed and replaced the main control and vent and retested and unit operated as designed. After I placed the outer door panel back on, I attempted to retest and the unit failed again and started showing error code F2E1. I advised the customer of my findings and am ordering the UI control and harness and CNOTE-AUTHORIZATION. Office to schedule return service. Customer emptied into a bowl and I tested the ice dispenser with the empty bin in place. The auger failed to rotate but I could hear the motor on. I inspected the shaft and found the head is rounded out and rusty. Inspected the bin shaft receiver and it is good. I removed the auger motor and found it badly rusted and ice formed around the outside of it and the cover. I removed and replaced the motor and shaft and retested with bin in place and it is operating as designed. I recommended that the customer clean the bin and allow it to air dry before placing it back in its place. No water leaks observed during service, job completed. Ice maker turned off while bin not in place."

I turned the unit on and could hear a ticking noise coming from the back right area. Customer advised that the unit did not make that noise prior to recent services. I lifted the top panel and turned the unit on and the noise appears to be coming from the roller area. I disassembled the unit and tested the roller by spinning it and when the roller began to slow down, it appeared that either it or the shaft are warped. I replaced the roller with one form my van stock (349241T ) and retested and the noise is quieter, but it’s still there. I am ordering the shafts, rollers, washers, and tri-ring retainers. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW5000DW3 "Arrived on site for a washer that’s making a squealing noise. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed customers complaint but it did not sound like a normal screech. Went to remove the agitator so I could remove the basket to check for any debris between the tub and basket and the agitator was seized onto the gear case. Lifted up unit and found the belt completely stripped and one of the motor screws completely stripped out and on the floor. This was causing the motor to lean down and strip the belt due to improper tension on the cam. Well looking through a part diagram with SP, was unable to find the screw needed for the motor. She asked me to take a photo of the screw and I found when I pulled out the screw that was left the gear case was completely cracked and broken. REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRSF705HPS00 Arrived on site for refrigerator that had water pooling on the mullian bar. Upon arrival customer stated that that was not their issue or original complaint at all the problem they were describing was a loud noise coming out of the fresh food section as well as ice buildup and not being able to open the bottom crisper drawers. Upon further inspection I found this was due to the fact that the fresh fruit side evaporator had a defrost issue not allowing ice to defrost properly and causing too much buildup and blockage which then led to a cooling issue inside the unit. Attempted to dispense ice with the door open and found the ice container popping forward when the unit was attempting to dispense ice. Replaced ice container and tested unit. Unit did the same thing. Attempted to adjust the rails in the cabinet to allow the ice container to seat properly. Due to the preset holes for the ice bin rails, there was little adjustment that could be made. I was able to verify that the motor indeed locked up and was not cycling after the fill and skip right over in the drain. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW4950HW1 Arrived on site for washer that was making a grinding noise during the spin cycle. Upon arrival I was able to run a diagnostic check and run the proper test cycles and found that during the spin cycle the gear case is rubbing internally for the first couple seconds and then it will go away and then about a few seconds after it goes away then noise comes back at full speed. I did verify that the gear case was the cause of the issue but the customers also stated that they’ve noticed since the noise that the machine is a lot to check the suspension rods were found they were working as designed and the balance issue was caused due to the inner tub not staying mounted properly and wobbling internally. We will need to return with a four inner and outer tub assembly as well as gear case motor and other Rigo parks etc. in order to complete the repair.
