Upon arrival customer pointed out the area within the back Left corner of bulkhead inside dryer where rust was. After further inspection of the area of concern, I was able to determine that the the discoloring on heating elements ventilation mounting box was was from the normal wear and tear of heat damage that is release from element and passes through vent holes in box and into the drum of unit itself. I instructed customer that this type of discoloring is normal of the span of the dryers life, also gave customer types on simple ways to safely clean that area of the dryer. I tested amp draw on the compressor and it tested good . I went to test 4 in diagnostics and could not hear the 3 way valve change position. I tested the resistance at the valve coil and got a faulty reading on one of the pins. There is no frost pattern on the evaporators and none of the lines are cold. I am recommending a sealed system repair. I inspected the units 2 evap motor & coil areas as well as condenser fan/compressor area for any sign of non functionality. All hardware. Was running with no visual issues. I checked frost patterns and though little to no ice was on each coil after running most of the day I found that the low side return underneath unit connecting to compressor was condensation/freezing quicklyduring process. Sealed system has no access valves of any kind installed. Customer also mentioned unit was having a cooling issue in freezer when noises started. Freezer at 14 degrees upon arrival. Office to reschedule after TG contacts WP tech line on following morning for further instruct on symptoms of unit.
