REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KFIS29BBMS02 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace previous diagnosed sealed system parts. I found the temps in both compartments well above set point. I found the compressor extremely hot and the system still charged. I evacuated the refrigerant and replaced the compressor. I installed a dye dryer and low side service tap on the compressor. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 5.50 oz’s of R134A and ran service test 4. I had good pressures when the RC and FC cycled. Both compartments are cooling properly and the unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service.

Placed unit in service diagnostics and found the error code. I called Techline and spoke to Ed SR# 7728450370. He had me run a few tests in traverse diagnostics on the fans and both fans worked as designed. Advised that the issue is with the whole sensor on one of the fans and stated that they are having issues with the control figuring out which fan it is. Upon repairs I went to test machine and realize that it was having even more problems with banging around then before the repair was done. TRASH COMPACTOR WHIRLPOOL GX900QPPS5 Arrived onsite for a compactor that is no starting. I found the unit installed with the cabinet brackets and the customer added a marble counter top after the brackets were already installed and there was no access to the screws. I was able to push the unit back far enough for Mr to cut the straps with snips. I tested the unit and found the momentary start switch not passing voltage. The switch needs to be replaced. I replaced the switch and tested the unit. All is working as designed. Call complete.

Placed in in-service diagnostics and found an F8 E5 (hot and cold reversed), F0 E4 (high water temperature), F7 E1 (basket speed sensor fault), and F7 E6 (motor fault). I ran the unit through soft and hard manual agitation and low speed and high speed spin tests and unit ran as designed for over a minute through each cycle. I called commercial Techline and spoke to Freddie. He had me run several checks and I noticed the unit was only getting hot water through both hot and cold valves. Freddy thought that the issue was with the temperature switch. Disconnected hoses and found hot water coming through both lines from the wall. For the advisor that was the issue because high temperature water during the rinse cycle with basically kill the machine and limit the spin on those cycles. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW7000DW0 Arrived on site for a washer that would not drain. After running diagnostics I found between six and seven different error codes only one of them related to the drain taking too long to pump out the water. All the rest are related to power failure issues such as power outages to the home and holding buttons down for too long on the keypad but there’s also another code that stated that the rotor had locked up at the bottom. Although I could get the lid lock to turn on the test machine during a regular cycle when it came to manual test in the diagnostic mode I could not get the control board and lid lock to function properly. I went ahead and tested the draining feature of the washer in the washer drained repeatedly on multiple test back to back at this point it was clear that there was some kind of software issue or hardware related issue with the main controls I replace that and once I did I was in able to reactivate the lid lock manually and get the washer

Placing it in service diagnostics and checked refrigerator thermistor, freezer thermistor, ice bin thermistor, evaporator fans, ice box fan, and icemaker harvest tests. All ran as designed. Took temperature in the freezer and refrigerator compartments. Found freezer at 1°F and eventually climbed to 6°F due to pulling the refrigerator section. And icebox at 2°F icebox was 3/4 of the way full and customer advised that it hadn’t been that high in a while. I called Techline and spoke to Ed SR# 7728451367. He advised that this unit has a very slow icemaker. And that you need both freezer and door icemakers running to have optimum icemaking conditions. He advised the issue seems like a consumption issue with the customers using more ice that it produces. If I was to make no repairs and unit is working as designed. Call complete."

After running diagnostics I could not find any error codes but I did find that the Main control was sending the full amount of power To the door latch itself I ended up replacing the door latch and was able to test the machine the door now locks and the washer continues advancing to cycles just as it should but we will need to return with a user interface and possibly the Acu because there appears to be an issue with selecting cycles and it showing the exact time of how long the cycles will take. RANGE KITCHENAID KFDC506JSS00 "Arrived on site to inspect range noises. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Canceled diagnostics and tested the unit in bake mode at 225 degrees. Customer advised the unit makes a loud humming noise after they’re done with the oven. Once the oven reached 225, I could hear the cooling fan turn on, along with the convection fan. Once the convection fan turned off and the cooling fan remained on, I questioned the customer regarding the noise.
