I replaced the motor and noticed the fan blade slipping down in high spin. I used a stopper wrapped around the motor stem to keep the fan from slipping. I tested unit and it is operating as designed at this time. Customer brought to my attention a clanking noise when the unit is turned off. I went to the outside vent and found the flap is a very light metal material that will knock against the grate on windy days, I explained this to the customer and advised looking into other options for the vent flap on the outside. Upon further inspection, I found a large block of ice at the bottom of the FC section and removed it. I pulled the unit out onto my floor protector and inspected the drain tube. Found some debris inside the drain and removed it. Put unit back into place and inspected the FC evaporator and found a large block of ice on the evap fan which was causing the loud noise I find where the ice maker fill tube chute was not properly mounted and water was leaking down onto the fan shroud and forming the ice. I corrected the chute and placed permagum sealer around it to help secure it and removed all of the ice and tested. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."

Did let customer know that large load will cause the unit not heat effectively because the air will not be able to move around affectively to dry clothes. Did say that smaller loads will take about 1hr but other loads will take 3 to 4hrs. Called Techline to report findings. Upon further inspection, the customer advised that water leaks from underneath the unit and comes out at the front of the unit. I removed the bottom drawer in the RC section and found water at the bottom of the RC section. I pulled the unit out and found a large round sweat spot on the back panel behind where the RC evaporator is located. Found a small rust spot within the sweating area. I removed the drain tube that connects to the RC evaporator and found it badly clogged. Cleared the drain tube and ran water through to test its flow and it was good. Placed the drain tube back on and placed the unit back in its space. No water leaks at the end of service other than the sweating on the back panel, job completed."

I removed the drain pump and inspected the seal. I found the drain pump now seated all the way. I reinstalled the drain pump. And tested the unit multiple times. I placed a piece of card board under the drain pump to test for any leaks. The unit is no longer leaking. Job complete.
