RANGE KENMORE 790.774838 Arrived onsite for range tripping gfci outlet. Upon inspection I found the range would trip the gfci after about 2 and a half mins. I tested the amp draw at the bake ignitor and valve and both tested good. I verified proper voltage at the outlet where the range was plugged in. I did not detect any shorts or breaks in the wiring harness. I used an extension cord and plugged the unit into a outlet that did have a gfci in the circuit. The oven ran for about 10 mins without the breaker tripping. I advised that they would need to have the gfci serviced or eliminated. No gas leaks detected during time of service. Job complete.

WASHER GE GTW460ASJ6WW Arrived on site for washer not spinning correctly. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostic check and found that there was a few different area codes indicating that the door latch was not functioning and that the main control could detect motor speed. Customer also stated that when they ran different cycles cycles that were selected was not the cycles that would actually run for example if they ran a strictly drain and spin cycle it would go through an entire hour and a half wash as if the unit was trying to wash the clothes. That point I checked the personality code assigned to the unit and found the code assigned did not match the model specific number to the unit (per the actual schematic sheet found within unit itself ) I then reset and re-programmed the main control to the proper personality designated to units particular model number. I’ve been ran another reset on the error codes and Re-tested the washer and found that it would now function correctly depending on

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRV986FDEM00 Arrived on site for fridge not powering on.. Upon arrival checked voltage from the power outlet assigned the fridge and found it was at a stable 120 V. I’ve been verified that the power supply board on the back of the unit was also receiving the 120 V needed but after checking the power supply to high-voltage board I found that the high-voltage board was intermittently trying to Cine voltage to the rest of the unit but would drop off too quickly before the unit could actually turn on. I didn’t replace the high-voltage board and upon doing so found the refrigerator immediately kicked on and after a few minutes it was running smoothly and efficiently. Technician does recommend that if this issue were to reoccur it would be best to replace the power supply board. As this can be the culprit of similar symptoms on this unit at times. Unit is now functioning as designed call complete

REFRIGERATOR FRIGIDAIRE LFHT2131QF0 I’m on site for refrigerator not cooling properly. Upon arrival I found that the freezer to defrost issue and I went ahead and replace the main harness assembly in the freezer that controls the defrost thermostat evaporator fan etc. At this point I found that the heating assembly in the unit kicked on on it’s own and was working as designed. At this point with the customer stated that they were also having an issue with the fresh food door gasket not sealing properly and upon further inspection I found that the fridge door gasket magnet built into the gasket is falling out and the gasket a sub cracking and causing a gap in between the door and the unit. We will need to get AHS approval and office to reschedule once the availability of parts known.; ordrng 1 242193214 (gasket-refr door)

Upon further inspection, I attempted to place the unit in diagnostics and due to the start button being stuck in the console, I was unable to perform diagnostics. Once I was able to get the start button released, I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested and found the circulation pump not working. I quoted the customer $748.80 for service/labor/parts/tax to repair the unit which would consist of replacing the circulation pump and console/UI assemblies. I advised the customer that the circulation pump is out of stock at this time with no ETA when we could get it.No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

DRYER ROPER RED4516FW0 "Arrived onsite for dryer making rattling noise. Upon inspection I found the dryer would make a rattling noise after a few mins and the hotter it got. It sounded like a support wheel so I replaced and re tested but the issue remained. I was able to pin point the rattling to what seemed to be the back left corner of the unit. I am ordering a heater element and heater box for repair. I advised that it may be the expansion of the metal during heat causing the box to vibrate somewhere but if the box doesn’t fix the issue than it might be sheet metal vibrating from somewhere else on the unit that we won’t be able to determine. WASHER MAYTAG MVWX655DW1 Arrived onsite for washer not getting past sensor and not starting. Upon inspection I found no stored error codes. I ran a automatic test cycle and while in agitate the drum made a very loud scratching noise. I removed a key from between the washplate and basket I re ran the automatic test cycle and all functions passed with no issues. I then ran a manual test and found the cold water valve would not actuate when called for. I accessed the main control and tested continuity at the valve and found it OL or open indicating a failed valve. No leaks were detected during time of service.

DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED7500GC0 Arrived on site for dryer that the door would not shut properly on. Upon further inspection I found that the door springs as well as catch and strike were why the door wasn’t shutting. The door strike was cracked and the catch wasn’t lining up correctly. The door springs were loosing tension and not holding the door ajar or closed well enough. After replacing the needed parts I was able to retest and verify that the unit is working as designed call complete

Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit will make ice, but it won’t drop from the evaporator. I turned the unit on and tested and while the unit was operating, I found that the hot gas valve solenoid was not plugged in.
