Arrived on site for refrigerator that would randomly shut off and defrost according to the customer sometimes every couple days and sometimes every couple weeks. Upon arRival I found that the evaporator fan motor compressor and condenser fan motor was not running at all. Check to ensure that the fridge is receiving the proper 120 V to the thermostat and defrost timer and thatÂ’s when I found out the defrost timer is stuck in place and not advancing back to the cooling cycle. Then replace the defrost timer and we tested the unit and verified that the unit kicked out immediately upon installation of the new part and the unit is not functioning as designed and only 24 hours to stabilize the temperatures. Arrived on site for icemaker not dispensing ice properly according to the customer upon arrival. Upon arrival customer stated that they were having trouble getting the ice to the spins and couldnÂ’t get the ice bucket out of its mounting position to verify whether or not there was ice in the bucket but they also said the water is Dispenser had worked great since their initial complaint. Customer also stated that since they had replace the water filter around the same time as when they notice the ice bucket was having an issue and not wanting to remove itself and they noticed that a lot of the items in the fresh food compartment were starting to freeze over such as carrots and other items. I was able to eventually get the ice bucket out of its mounted position and found some of the ice in the bucket was melted together causing it to jam up and get stuck and after clearing out the melted ice I was able to RitaÂ’s and verify that the dispenser is working

"On site for refrigerator not cooling properly in the fresh food department. Upon arrival I found that the fresh food evaporator coil had a major defrost issue not allowing proper airflow. IÂ’ll double check on service matters and found that the unit had an S code number to help provide the customer with parts and labor coverage of the evaporator cover as well as main control the back that related to the defrost issue. After replacing both needed evaporator cover and main control in the unit and after reassembling and testing the unit I was able to verify with the customer that the unit will need 24 hours to recall but will start functioning at that point and that it can take up to four days for the icemaker to fully fill the bin up.

Arrived on site for microwave making a loud rumbling noise.Upon arrival I put a cup of water in the unit and ran a quick minute test and found immediately that the fan motor located right behind the main control on the right side of the unit has bad internal bearings within it. The silver arm that comes out of the motor that the fan blade attaches to is actually starting to wobble inside the motor internally which in turn is causing the fan blade to wobble as it spins and knocks it against the inner portions of the microwave cavity where itÂ’s mounted. The separate Circulation fan motor in the back of the unit as well as all other hardware in the unit were functioning as designed with no odd noises or irregularities. "Arrived on site to diagnose dishwasher that is not drying dishes and not fully dissolving soap. On arrival spoke with homeowner who said they usually run it before bed. They also see some soap residue on the floor under the door. Ran unit and verified all items are properly functioning. Advised the customer they need to run their hot water before starting unit to make sure it fills with hot water. Not running water before starting unit will lead to cold fills, which will not dry or dissolve soap. Customer is also running Kirkland brand soap, which can be very sudsy and go over the floor pan causing their leak. Customer is also not using rinse aid. Advised using rinse aid and a different brand of soap. House is equipped with a water softener, which can also cause minor issues with suds and soap pods. Removed the ice with my steamer and reinstalled the ice maker and tested. The IM harvested and when it called for water and stopped filling, water continued to flow at a slow fill. I removed and replaced the valve and retested the unit. Unit is operating as designed. Customer requested that the water dispenser not be functional. I left the dispenser connection at the valve unplugged per customer request. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

When I began to disassemble the unit to inspect the element, I found a large amount of lint debris inside the unit. I recommended that the customer schedule someone to come out and check the vents. I found the element burnt and the metal plate badly warped. I replaced the element and removed the lint from the unit and reassembled the unit. Tested the unit and it is operating as designed. "Arrived on site to inspect ice machine not making ice. Upon further inspection, I found the unit on and no water in the reservoir. Tested unit in diagnostics and could hear the inlet valve come on but still no water. The recirculating pump and the drain pump were not operating. Poured some water into the tub to test the external drain pump and itÂ’s operating as designed. Also found that the connections to the harness were badly corroded. The recirculating pump had cracked and water was spraying out of it causing the water to freeze on the connections and short/corrode them. I accessed the control board and found the surpressor board had blown. I confirmed voltage at the terminal block. I also found heavy grease and dust on all components in the control board area. Specifically the latch motor and switches. I advised that the switches would fail soon and are discontinued. The control panel is also discontinued. The unit would need a control panel, surpressor board, latch motor and possibly blowers.
