Upon arrival customer stated that the leaking issue she was describing is due to the fact that with how old the house was theres not a proper PVC pipe for the drain hose to connect to so they had to rig the hose to drain outside and I did point out to the customer that she would need a plumber in order to install the type of proper drain system within the laundry room to sit the drain hose in the washer into. Customer did state though that the washer itself has a particular metal grinding noise whenever it would agitate and after running a diagnostic test on the low and high speed agitation, I found that the gear case itself is internally starting to rub against it its internal components we will need to return with a new drive hub kit drive pulley splutch assembly and gear case. REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706ESS01 Arrived on site for refrigerator those pouring water out of the icemaker as soon as customers to turn the water on. Upon arrival I am fortunate was not able to get any good accurate test on the icemaker or the water valve assembly due to the fact that I Saul a door open signal on the display in Asti customer how long that Ive been there and she had said that for the most part as long as it has a fridge Edmond Sean that door open and that it would not go away after testing the door switches I was able to verify that the upper refrigerator compartment switchs were broken internally. The problem with this though is without the doors being able to shut properly I could not run any harvesting test or icemaker fill test to verify why the icemaker is overfilling. We will need to return with a new main control door switches icemaker and water valve to ensure that after we make the door switch repaired there are no longer any electrical or a hardware issue

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ01 Arrived on site refrigerator that was leaking water out of the dispenser. Upon further inspection of unit I found that after activating the water dispenser the water valve inside the refrigerator compartment would appear to close after it was deactivated but these solenoid internally would not shut all the way at cause water to come pouring out of the dispenser itself if you seconds after deactivation. After replacing the water and the valve inside the refrigerator compartment I retest of the unit and found that The water valve did fix how quickly and how much water was being dispensed out after deactivation but it did not completely fix the issue I then found after that dirty water filter housing also had a small early crack internally it was long water pass by the filter and into the water valve causing too much pressure buildup which would then cause it she got the door steel we will need to return with a new filter housing assembly as well as fil

Upon arrival I ran step 1-7 in diagnostics and all tests passed with no malfunctions or errors. I found the temp setting for both compartments were f: 3°/ff: 37°. Tested temps were 4 and 38. Customer clarified that she noticed only items closer to the top back left of ffc would occasionally freezer like dairy based products. The air baffle motor also functioned but in normal and diagnostic mode. I did reset customers temps to factory labeled setting on unit at 0° and 37° for both compartments. I also showed customer how to adjust shelves with fresh food area to give more clearance for the baffle motor airflow while still maintaining same amount of space needed for current items in fridge.Unit working as designed call complete

WASHER WHIRLPOOL RTW4516FW2 Arrived on site for washer that was banging around during the agitation on spin cycle according to the customer. Upon arrival I ran a quick diagnostic test on the unit and tested each fill agitating a drain/spin cycle to see how the unit functions. Its fine theyre doing the full cycle both the hot and cold water valves are working great and I also found that the suspension rods were functioning as needed and were not swinging off to the side or causing the tub to hang down to low and it was filled. I did however see that the inner tub sitting underneath the skirt inside of the outer tub assembly did not appear to be evenly balanced within the unit and one portion of it seem to be leaning over inside the outer tub assembly and then Ran a high speed spin and agitation cycles to verify whether or not the unit would cost the noise. I found that during any sort of agitation a spin cycle even with the machine was empty the inner tub would start violently shakin

I replaced the console, and got the unit connected to WiFi and the customer whirlpool app. The new console is showing the appropriate model and serial number. Job complete."

Upon further inspection of the unit I was able to verify that the knobs indeed were getting way too hot and was melting and deforming and the customer would like us to order five new knobs in order to fix the appearance of the old ones. I also found out the reason knobs and melting was at the hinges on the oven door are not allowing the door to shut properly and the heat has been escaping through the middle and left side of the doors going the front of the stove which is also caused the seal to dry out too much because the heat is just passing right by it and deforming it.for the five knobs to door hinges and one door gasket seal. WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DW4 Arrived onsite for washer with gearcase leaking oil. Upon inspection I confirmed the gearcase failure. The resident was concerned about a foul smell as well. As I was disassembling the drive system I found the filter head and reservoir for the drain pump was very grimy and sludgy. I cleaned out the filter reservoir with a towel and some Lysol wipes and replaced the gearcase. I then calibrated and tested the unit. I found that gas valve was working as designed and regulating gas flower to front right burner very well. I did also notice though that when the burner was turned on the flame would blow to the left a bit more then it should have and if I moved my position where I stood to the left of the cooktop the burner flame would flow upward exactly as it needed to. I found on the ceiling above the cooktop there is a ac vent the is aimed to closely to the cooktop which is causing heat from flame and flame itself to blow left if ac is on while cooktop is used. This is why this one knob has melted from the beginning over time. I removed the outer door panel and found the connector at the door latch was black and burnt. When I tried to remove that connector it crumbled and I could see burnt wires. I accessed the junction box underneath the unit and found the ground wire not secured to the junction it was excessively long and twisted up with the other wires. I also found the hot (black) wire was shorted and had melted the wire nut to the wires, I am recommending replacing the main harness, main control and door latch. Noise was coming from behind the ice machine area. Determined it was the When compressor turned off the noise went away. Removed back panel to inspect for water. All checked good.
