Arrived on site for refrigerator thatÂ’s not freezing properly in the freezer section. Inspected unit and work area. Found ice cream and several other components halfway thawed in the freezer. Tested pressures and found the low side at -8 psi and the high side at 1:25 psi. Was unable to use a black light to look for leaks. Spoke to CS and was advised to order sealed system parts for a leak and charge the unit. Charged unit back up to 145 psi on the high side and one psi on the low side. "Arrived on site for washing machine that is having a problem starting the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Placing it in service diagnostics and found an F3 E2 (inlet water temperature fault), F0 E4 (spin limited by water temperature), F5 E1 (lid switch fault - lid is up), and F2 E1 (UI stuck key) error codes. Ran unit through an auto test and unit ran as designed. Ran unit through a manual lid lock test and unit ran as designed. Customer advised that on several cycles they had been using, the lid like sounded like it was trying to lock in bed but that it would not and try again several times. I advise the customer that based on their complaint and the error code for the lid switch fault, the issue would most likely be the lid lock. However without being able to cause a fault. Replaced lid lock assembly and tested unit in a manual lid lock test, auto test, and normal cycle with clothes in it. Unit ran as designed.

Arrived onsite for a refrigerator that has a burning smell. The unit was off when I arrived. Mr stated there was a smoke mark at the rear of the unit on the lower panel. I confirmed there was a smoke mark and found that this happened at the plant when the lined were soldered. I explained this to the customer. I checked the main control and found it good. The customer stated the smell was coming from the RC. I checked all components in the RC and found them good. I checked the FC evaporator and found where a piece of foam had fallen on the defrost heater causing the smell the customer had noticed. I removed what was left of the foam and scraped the rest off of the heater. I explained to the customer that any remaining foam would burn off. The unit is working as designed. There were no water leaks present at the time of service. Call complete.

After further inspection I found that the issue was that there was a TOD sensor on the back of the upper oven that had blown from the self-cleaning feature and was not allowing the oven to kick on the upper side but whatever I try to place to use the house and noticed that there is no power getting to the main control board I found at the thermal fuse that is wired into the main power lineWas also blown and will need to be replaced before we can get power to the main control and pull the chassis oven we will need to return with the TOD sensor as well as a thermal fuse to the main control. Arrived on site for mullion being hot and condenser fan not working. I inspected the unit and work area. I plugged the unit in and found the fan not spinning. I plugged the new motor in and found it working. I removed the failed motor and fan blades. I replaced the motor and fan blades with a new set. I plugged the unit back in and found the fan spinning as designed. Job complete. No water leaks detected.

Replaced ice maker and the new ice maker failed the harvest test as well. Inspected the door harness and found some crimped wires will need to replace door . The cooling issue in the refrigerator. During testing found that the damper control is not working properly and is very noisy. Upon further inspection I found that the motor and pump sump assembly head quit working and was no longer turning on the way it was supposed to it was receiving the proper voltage from the main control board so I went ahead and replace the pump and motor retest of the unit and everything is functioning as designed there were no leaks before during or after repair. Went to plug ice machine back in and saw that he drain hose from the ice machine was not connected to the main drain. In order to hook up drain hose the wine cooler will need to be removed to gain access to hook up drain hose to the main drain line. Advised customer to have some one remove to wine cooler. Was not able to test ice machine because I will not be able to drain water. Customer stated that they will contact us once the ice machine is hooked up to the drain.

"Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator temps. Upon further inspection, tested temps in the FC=12 degrees & RC=51 degrees. I found that the RC evap cover had a large mass of ice on the outside. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that I would have to reschedule due to the large amount of ice and the potential damage that could be caused from removing the evap cover. I recommended that the customer unplug the unit 24-48 hours before I return and to place towels around the unit to protect the walls from any water leakage.No water leaks observed during service.;

"Arrived on site to inspect venthood lights not working. Upon further inspection, I tested the lights and they failed to come on. When I moved the light harness, the lights flickered off/on. I removed the lights and the transformer/capacitor housing and found that the left LED connector pins were loose. I had to cut the shrink tape off the connector to get to the harness to adjust. I attempted to adjust the pins but they would not hold. I contacted techline ad spoke to Dustin and advised of the complaint and my findings. Dustin recommended adjusting the pins and retaping, but I advised I tried and it holds briefly. He advised that he does not have a part number for the harness and our parts dept would have to research the part. If the part is not available for order, then techline would have to contacted and document info to move further. File #7728492703.
