Upon further inspection, customer advised that when using both ovens, the control display will fade out and eventually come back on all the while it keeps heating. There have been times when it does this that over a period of time, the unit will make 3 beeping noises then shut off. I turned both ovens on at Bake at 350 degrees. I let them operate for approximately 30 mins and the unit operated as designed. I cycled the power to the unit and removed the touch panel to inspect the control and found a few diodes burnt out and one was broken and another was discolored (photos). I advised the customer that there is a possibility that the touch panel won’t work with the rebuilt control and I will order it as well.I removed the control and am ordering a rebuild, touch panel and XNOTE-LSO PER CUSTOMER REQUEST. Upon inspection and after putting the unit into diagnostics I found some stored error codes of F8E4 F6E2 indicating issues with the drain pump and float switch. I removed the drain pump and found a piece of glass wedged in the impeller causing the failure. I reinstalled the pump and tested. The pump is working as designed at this time. I ran a quick diagnostics cycle to confirm the other function are working as well. Upon arrival I disassembled the unit and ran an ohm test on heating element as well as run a continuity test. Both failed. Heating element had no resistance nor continuity. I the. Ran a diagnostics test to test voltage from board to height limit stat and connections to element. When connected to multi meter unit functioned as designed with a steady 120v being supplied to heating element connections. But once connecters were reapplied back to element then tested it would trip each time heat was activated. after customer approval and repair i retested unit and found heating element turning on never tripped the breaker. After further inspection of the unit I was able to verify that there is a quarter size hole on the back Left corner of the outer tub inside the cavity of the washer I attempted to pull the outer tub out of the unit to verify if it was still salvageable and found that in the process the hub head cracked and the outer tub would not separate from the inner tub around the gear case. We will need to return with a gear case inner and outer tub as well as other hardware to complete a full rebuild on the washer. DRYER MAYTAG MEDB855DC4 Arrived on site for a dryer that was making a squealing sound during operation. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that she thinks the issue is with a sock that had dropped inside her lint trap. She said that she tried to remove it but was unable to. Attempted to spin the basket by hand was able to spin it one way but not the other. Removed the front panel and found a sock stuck in your blower housing causing the motor and blower wheel not to be able to turn. Removed sock and reassembled unit. Tested unit in a normal cycle and unit is running as designed. Call complete.

I tried unplugging the unit and put in Back in After five minutes and when I did and turn the unit on it made one boop noise but then the sound went away after that and will no longer come back even after resetting the machine two more times afterwards. Called tech line and spoke to Leon #7729057346. Recommended replacing control and both thermistors at same time. Installed both and found after steaming away ice ball around evaporator thermistor that the compressor is failing and not moving refrigerant properly. Also found liner has melted behind evaporator due to defrost heater energizing but evaporator not frosting properly. Recommended liner repair kit. Unit will need new compressor, dryer, stub and liner repair kit. REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF757SDHZ00 Arrived onsite for refrigerator with some intermittent compressor issues according to the maintenance staff. Upon inspection I found both compartments seemingly at correct temps the resident had both doors to the RC open when I arrived so I was not able to take temp readings. I put the unit into diagnostics and tested all thermistors. All passed. When I tried test 4 I noticed the condenser fan kicked on but the compressor did not. I accessed the compressor and noticed it would intermittently not start. I replaced the start device and capacitor and the compressor cycled on as designed. I could not find any other issues. The ice bin was full of ice and I could not see any frost build up on or around either evaporator. I advised them to keep an eye on the unit and to let us know if any more issues arise. The unit is working as designed at this time. Job complete.

WASHER MAYTAG MVWC465HW0 Arrived on site for washer that was not completing the cycles in Pearlridge Center employees they had stated that the customer support to them was that it was not little walking when it should and not advancing to recycle. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostics check and found that there was an F0 E4 error code Indicating that the temperatures during the rinse cycle were exceeding 105° and getting too hot. Unfortunately while on site there was no water connections for me to connect the washer to and verify how the functionality of the valve was opening and shutting but I was able to Run test number five in the schematics to test the temperature water sensor and found that it was 51 Ohm’s and within safe ranges of current sensor temp. I also ran a diagnostic manual test and auto test and found that during the spin and agitation cycles the gear case was grinding internally and underneath the gear case the splutch is dropping down from the gear case and rubbing against

DRYER MAYTAG MED5500FC0 Arrived onsite for dryer with no power. Upon inspection I found one of the wires at the term block had come loose. I corrected the wiring and was able to restore some power to the unit. The unit would spin and all lights and UI powered up but would not heat. when I tested voltage under a load at the terminal block I found only 17 mV from L1 to L2 when 240Vac would be the correct voltage to operate this unit. I advised the resident to have a licensed electrician come inspect the outlet and circuit before we investigate the dryer any further.

I could also hear the fan hitting ice. I checked the software version for this unit via service pointer and it is currently running a 4.0.0 version when a 7.0.0 version is needed. The service pointer also states to replace the RC evaporator cover with the HV control.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRT108FZDM05 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator with a refrigerant leak at the Lokring on the dye drier. I verified the leak. I checked the capillary size and it showed to be 1.87mm to 1.89mm but when trying to install the drier with a 1.8mm x 6NK fitting I found it breaking so I installed it using a 2mm x 6NK fitting. I vacuumed the system and it held a 30 psi vacuum. I charged the system with 3.7 oz’s of R134A. I tested the unit and had good pressures and frost pattern. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRF532SMHZ03 Arrived on site for refrigerator that’s not cooling the refrigerator section. Inspected unit and work area. Found freezer evaporator completely frosted over and used service diagnostics to check the defrost circuit. Found do you from circuit shorted/closed. Attempted to place unit in a forest defrost and found the default to your not picking on even though the defrost by metal was completely covered in ice. Tested voltage going to the heater and found no voltage. Checked heater and found heater resistance at 31 Ohm’s. Checked voltage at the evaporator harness and found no voltage. Spoke with SW and was advised to check the control voltage. And replace the control if voltage wasn’t coming from the control. Found no voltage coming to the heater or defrost circuit at the control and replace the control. Tested unit and a force defrost again and found the heater not kicking on. I called Techline and spoke to Chris SR# 7729058218. He had me run several ch
