Arrived onsite for washer with burning smell. Upon inspection I found the unit would not go into spin during manual diagnostics. I lifted the unit and found the pulley shield full of black oil that was dripping into a puddle onto the floor. All the components of the drive system had been sprayed with oil and the belt has slipped off.

I removed the back cover and found water coming from the left side from the cabinet where the water lines come out from the reservoir. Inspected the reservoir inside the RC section and found the reservoir cracked and leaking water down the tubing and into the bottom portion of the RC section. I also found the customer on a water softener system. Arrived on site for a washing machine with a motor making a hum. Upon arrival the customer stated the issue was the unit would sense and fill and then do nothing else. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error code F8E1 for no fill or long fill. I then ran a test cycle and after it threw an F8E1 error. It sounded as though it ran as designed. I then manually activated each component and found the cold valve was not initiating. I took the hose off at the wall and checked water pressure and it was good. I then checked the harness to the valve and it was good. I then checked voltage at the harness and found it getting 120V indicating a bad valve. Arrived on site for a broken refrigerator door switch. Upon further inspection I found the FC door switch visibly broken. I removed the old door switch and the liner was to tight around it and caused damage to the liner. I now cannot get the new switch properly into the liner. The light switch is now working however. I called techline and spoke to Anthony and received SR# 7730683801. He recommended getting the liner repair kit and fixing the liner. Also to trim some of the liner to better fit the switch and trim off some insulation if necessary. Arrived on site for dryer needing previously diagnosed blower housing assembly. Upon arrival disassembled unit and removed housing. I ended up not being able to remove blower wheel from housing and also installed new wheel. I reassembled and tested dryer after repair and found units noise no longer present. Arrived on site for washer making a grinding noise. Upon arrival customer showed me a video indicating the type of noise or hearing both during agitation and spin. Upon further diagnostics checks I found no error codes stored but when I ran a agitation cycle I found a loud knocking noise occurring in the gear case after inspecting underneath the unit I found a lot of oil splattered all over the capacitor splutch motor and actuator as well as on the floor underneath the washer. Arrived on site for a washing machine that has no power. Inspected unit and work area. Customer advised that it?s not that the unit does not have power but that is unit will not go into agitation. Tested unit and confirmed that the unit is attempting to agitate but is jerking the basket instead. Looked underneath the unit and found the actuator not engaged with the cam underneath the unit. Fixed positioning and tested unit five times between agitation and spin cycles and the unit ran as designed. Call complete.

The customer advised that the unit ran perfectly for two days and then stopped making ice for four days consecutively. She advised it did come back on for a day or two but is in a very intermittent on when it decides to make ice. I ran harvest test and found water and ice inside the tray indicating that the water had been refilled within the last hour. The unit did recognize that the bin was present and not full. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7730689072. He requested that I move the wires underneath the door while the harvest test is running and advised that if there was any problem with any of the connections underneath the door or a problem with wiring that the unit would not continue to run through the harvest cycle. Everything ran as designed even with me moving the wires around from side to side. He advised that based on my findings and replacing of the icemaker that he would make no other changes to the unit. He advised that if there was an electrical issue, the icemaker just would not work. I asked him if he were to swap out some thing what he would go for and he advised if we needed to replace something to replace the icemaker. Replaced ice maker and tested harvest and fill functions. "Arrived on site dishwasher not draining at the end of the cycle. We entered diagnostics and found fault codes F10e2 vent electrical problem f9e1 not draining. We gained access to the bottom of the unit and inspected all of the wiring harness and found the float switch not seated connector not seated properly. We reconnected the float switch and ran the unit through an express wash. After 30. Insets we canceled out of the quick wash and tried to drain the unit. The drain pump would not come on. We gained access to the vent motor and disconnected the vent motor and found no change. We gained access to the drain pump. We found the drain pump extremely hot to the touch. We inspected the sump assembly and found no blockage. We tested voltage to the drain pump and found good voltage. We ran the drain pump for severally minuets out side of the sump assembly. We found when the drain pump gets to hot it stop functioning. When we let it cool down it works again, indicating there is a mechanical failure in the drain pump causing it to fall at the end of a cycle, after multiple drain and fills. We called techline I advised of the situation. He advised there is a service pointer going out for this issue. And to replace the drain pump. We replaced the drain pump. I retested the drain pump several times and found it working every time. Job complete."

The heavy duty cycle starts with the extra power being on during the cycle which starts with a little water and will continue to add water throughout the wash cycle. According to the technical data sheet that is working as designed. Ran through agitation and the unit sounded like it was working as designed.

Arrived on job for complaints of code and not finishing cycle. Ran diagnostics and found code for door lock and at the end of test cycle the door lock didn?t open properly.After replacement test operation.

Arrived onsite for the washer not agitating. During testing found that the actuator was not working properly. Replaced actuator with new one and washer tested good . Complete

"Arrived on site for customer complaint of vent motor not pulling air, unit tested good, customer was unaware of unit being out of warranty and had builder set up appointment, job complete.

Arrived on site for a range not heating. Upon arrival customer stated the oven was not getting any higher than 110-120?F. I tested the voltage at the wall and found correct voltage. I unplugged the unit. I then gained access to the back of the unit and found both elements ohmd out to 20 ohms which is good. The sensor ohmd out at 1k which is good. The fuse was closed and good. I plugged the unit back in and checked voltage to the elements and found no voltage going to either. This indicates an bad control. I installed a new control and then tested the unit and checked for voltage. The elements were now getting your 240V and the oven preheated. Unit is working as designed. Call complete.

"Arrived on site to diagnose low pressure water going to dispenser and ice maker, found that the braided hose in the back was slightly kinked. Removed the kink in the hose now the unit is functioning as designed. Job complete."

"Arrived on site to inspect washer leaking water. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit is leaking from the bleach dispenser and softener dispenser. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the dispensers and found the bleach and softener dispensers were overflowing. I inspected the dispensers and found mildew and softener build up inside. Removed and replaced the dispensers and retested and turned the water valves down at the wall. Unit is operating as designed. No water leaks observed at the end of service, job completed."
