COOKTOP KITCHENAID KCGS956ESS02 "Arrived on site to inspect cooktop leaking gas. Upon further inspection, customer advised that someone looked at the gas leak issue and found the regulator leaking. Using my liquid gas leak detector, I checked the regulator, gas line connection and the fitting that connects the regulator to the gas line and found a small leak at the fitting. Due to this issue, I removed and replaced the regulator and placed some gas tape around all connections and the fitting and tested the gas line. I placed more liquid gas leak detector on all connections and no leaks were found. I advised the customer of my findings and repairs. No gas leaks detected at the end of service, job completed."

WASHER KENMORE 110.2513241 "Arrived on site to inspect washer not spinning/draining. Upon further inspection, I placed the unit in diagnostics showing error code F0E2, F8E1, F3E1, & F2E1. I cleared the codes ad continued with testing and the unit completed testing. Per the F3E1 code, I removed the sensor tube from the control and blew through it and it was clear. I checked it at the outer tub and found it attached and no holes in the tube. Following the tech sheet for the F8E1 long fill/no fill, I tested ohms to the valve and found it slightly out of range, but it filled during testing. Also found the gearcase is louder than normal and will eventually need to be replaced. I found the customer is using too much detergent which possibly caused the unit to have all of the error codes.

Upon arrival the customer pointed out that inside the fresh food section there was a lot of ice build up on the damper motor and you could hear the damper motor grinding and not opening and shutting properly. I also found that the fresh fruit side door at the top left corner of the door did not allow for the gasket to seal properly along these refrigerated unit so I reheated to reshape the gasket to seal properly and I replace the damper motor to ensure that there would be no more condensation buildup from the fresh food section. Upon further inspection, the builder advised that the unit was tested by the inspector using a laser temp gun and advised that the temps were off. Using my multimeter with thermal lead I placed the thermal lead in the middle of the center rack and tested temps on Bake at 350 degrees. My five temp readings were 381, 329, 372, 343, 368 for an average of 358.6 degrees for the average temp. I advised the customer that the unit is operating as designed. Also advised that the unit has to be tested using a multimeter with thermal lead in order to get an accurate reading on air temps and not surface temps like when using a laser temp gun. No repairs needed at this time. Job completed."

Found the inlet valve was not allowing enough water in to fully fill the unit and as a result pump was barely moving any water. Replaces inlet valve. I popped the dent in the kick plate out, and also tapped a small dent out of the cabinet to resolve the sticky drawer. Customer approved me just pounding out the dent vs replacing the tub. All is now working as designed. At customer request I also moved the retaining tabs from the top of the unit to the sides. No water leaks found, call complete."

The customer showed me a video of a chattering noise and no water coming through the dispenser. I tested the dispenser and could not get the issue to recreate. I inspected the filter housing and the inlets valves but all checked good after speaking with CS we determined that the issue must be with water pressure within the houses foundation. I explained to the customer the affects of high pressure on these valves. We turned the water to almost all the way off at the wall. I advised a water pressure reduction valve might be necessary to remedy the dispenser chattering. But no repairs needed at this time to the unit. Job complete.

I found the fridge set to 4 degrees in the freezer and 40 degrees in the fridge. I did a temp test and found the freezer at 4 degrees and the fresh food section at 40 degrees. I put the unit into diagnostics and found all fan and thermistors working as designed. I called techline and advised them of my findings, sr#7728790171, tech line advised the temperature is set to high in the fridge, and advised that the fridge by design pulls moisture out of products to cool them down. They advised there are no parts to replace since everything is working as designed. I spoke with the customer about the units operation and what Techline advised. Job complete. Placed unit in an auto test and unit ran as designed. Placed unit in a manual hi speed spin and took amperage. Unit did not pull over 7 A during the spin cycle. Placed unit in a manual fill test and ran the high speed spin test and drain. Unit did not pull over 10 A. Had customer add several towels and jeans to the unit and replicated the same process. Unit still did not pull over 10 A. Tested unit twice in a spin and drain in drain and spin. Unit still did not pull over 10 A and did not trip the breaker. Customer is on a GFCI breaker and due to all testing, advised her the only issue could be with her breaker. Advised her to have an electrician swap out her GFCI breaker for a standard breaker

Took temperatures and found freezer section at 20°F and refrigerator section at 52°F. Placed in in-service diagnostics and tested the thermistor, defrost bimetal/heater, and evaporator fan/damper door. All seemingly checked good. Removed evaporator cover and found frost buildup at the top and bottom of the evaporator with a full frost pattern. Spoke to SW and tested continuity through the heater. Found continuity. Tested voltage going to the heater and found 105.7 V going to the heater. I checked for potential air flow issues and found none. Open the back compressor cover and found no frost buildup on the return line going back to the compressor. Found condenser completely filled with lint. Was advised to replace the bimetal and advised customer about lint buildup on condenser. Replaced by metal and advise customer to completely defrost the unit before plug
