WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8500DC6 "Arrived on site to inspect washer noises. Upon further inspection, customer advised that the unit is making a metal grinding noise set the beginning of the cycle for approximately 1 minute and then goes away and the unit operates just fine. I placed the unit in diagnostics showing no error codes. Contrived with testing and the unit operated as designed with no unusual noises. I manually tested the agitate and spin cycles and still no noises. Tilted the unit back and all components look good with no signs of gearcase oil leaking. I tested the unit in a normal wash cycle and still no noises. Contacted techline and spoke to Scott and advised of the complaint and my findings. Scott documented complaint and provided file #7729583072. I advised customer to take a video of the noise if it comes back and then call it in for service. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

Upon arrival found after disassembly that the unit was receiving 240 V from the power outlet and the terminal block was still intact and the timer and door switch are functioning as designed. Then found that the heating element and three out of the four thermal fuse is working but the high limit thermal cut off had shorted out due to a significant clog inside the vent hose of the dryer. . REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WRX986SIHZ00 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator noises. Upon further inspection, I could hear the refrigerator making a vibrating be once I walked into the home. I placed the unit in diagnostics and tested the evaporator fans in test #3 and found the FC evaporator fan making the noise. I disassembled the FC door/drawers and removed the FC evap cover and found the evaporator with a good frost pattern. Also found evidence of frost/ice build up on the right side and middle of the evaporator. The evap fins were laid over under the fan and there was still ice on the cap tube. I advised the customer of my findings and advised that this issue is from an air leak. As a precaution, I removed and replaced the evap motor/harness and retested. Unit is operating as designed. While in diagnostics, I changed the defrost time to 8 hours (#2) in test #7. Advised customer of my repairs. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I completed service pointer W11378591A, after finding marks under the drive motor plate. I also replaced the tensioner pulley, due to it making a screeching noise. I reassembled the unit. WASHER WHIRLPOOL WTW8040DW4 Arrived on site for washer not working correctly after previously repaired and rebuild. Con further inspection and entering diagnostics I found that there was an F7e9 error code indicating that the rotor was locking up on the unit. Upon further inspection of the rotor I found that there was nothing causing the road to get stuck and it freely spun as designed. After disassembling the rotor and stater from the gear case I was able to determine that the gear case is grinding internally and the gears for agitation mode when the gear case is activated is not aligned correctly we will need to return with new gear case in order to resolve the issue office to reschedule once availability of parts is known; ordrng 1 W10734521 (slider) and 1 W11455453 (GEARCASE)
