Upon further inspection, the customer advised that the cooktop burner flames were too high and food was burning while cooking. I tested all burners and found the flames too high and the front left burner took too long to ignite. I adjusted the flames to the customers liking. I found the front left burner ignitor was loose and the spark was not hitting the burner cap like t should. Adjusted the ignitor and retested and it is operating as designed. I advised the customer that the popping noises coming from the oven are due to the metal being heated and “moving”. I advised that the noises would eventually decrease or stop over time. No gas leaks detected during service, job completed."

REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL WSR57R18DM02 "Arrived onsite for a refrigerator not cooling. I found the evaporator cover completely frosted over. I ran diagnostics and the unit would not go into defrost. The control gave me a multiple failed component code pointing to the thermistors and the defrost heater failing. I removed the evaporator cover and upon further inspection I found a refrigerant leak on the left side of the coil at the bottom of the shrink wrap where the copper and aluminum come together. I tested voltage to the heater when the control was in a forced defrost and had no voltage. The control, evaporator, and possibly a thermistor needs to be replaced. Ordering W11282569 contrl-box, WPW10384183 thermistor, & WPW10383615 thermistor. Upon arrival I found that the power outlet was giving 120 V but the thermal fuse located on the noise filter had blown. The hardware and thermal fuses as well as door switches etc. and cannot find any issues with any of the parts not passing continuity or ohms test. After installing the thermal fuse I did however find that even though the interlocks had passed a continuity test they were shorting out on themselves internally wants power was re-supply to the microwave and it caused the new fuse to blow out we will need to return with a new thermal fuse as well as the upper and lower lock assembly’s. .; ordrng 1 W1013793 (THRML FUSE) and 1 W11433682 (INTERLOCK UPPER) and 1 W11433683 (INTERLOCK LOWER)"

Upon arrival the customer stated that he did notice that the evaporator and condenser fans are both running and all the lights appear to be functioning as designed as well as the displays but he noticed that he had not heard the compressor run in a few days upon arrival I checked the power supply going from the power outlet to the main on and off switch as well as to the main control and all other sub control boards in the unit. This is what I found at the inverter box that controls the compressor was smelling like burnt plastic and was receiving 120 V but was not sending any voltage to the compressor itself. I did I’m out the compressor and turn the schematics the compressor was supposed to home at seven homes and after verifying it’s on writing I found that it was sitting right at seven homes exactly. ; ordrng 1 W10629033 (INVERTER BOARD)

MICROWAVE WHIRLPOOL WMH31017HZ3 "Arrived on site for a microwave that was not heating. Inspected unit into work area. Customer advised that the unit does heat but that intermittently she has an issue with the microwave making a clicking sound and then turning itself off. Tested the microwave several times using a coffee cup filled with water and unit ran as designed. Customer advised that she had noticed these two plastic covers on the top of her microwave that advised to remove them prior to use and did not know if that would be causing her issue. Found to vent covers sitting over the top of the vet and causing the door not to close fully. I advised her that that very well could’ve been the issue. I called Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7729159202. He advised that because the issue was happening only 20% of the time, it would indicate that there was a restriction with the doorlock causing the microwave relay to flicker on and off. WASHER MAYTAG PAV2300AWW "Arrived on site for a washer that was not allowing water temperature selection to work properly and long the proper water filter with a customer would activate cold or hot. Upon arrival customer also stated that she noticed that the unit was no longer spinning the clothes there in the last cycle as well as ahead before. After disassembling the unit and accessing the water valve I found that the timer was receiving and sending 120 V to and from the timer to the valve. I ran few fill tests while switching between cold,hot,warm temps and never once found a portion of the valve not working as it was designed. Each silonoid functioned in accordance with its selected water temp. I did however find that the transmission and transmission assembly over all was no longer grabbing and spinning the tub correctly during its end cycle. He did change some parts on the back of the range.Miss stated that the unit seemed to fail more at a higher temps. Tested the oven at 425 degrees and found the oven lit instantly when cold, but after reaching preheated temp it would spark sometimes and wouldn’t light. DISHWASHER FRIGIDAIRE FFBD2406NW9B Arrived onsite for dishwasher not advancing through cycles or filling. Upon putting the unit into diagnostics I found the unit filling washing and working as designed. I could not recreate a failure so I accessed the control board behind the out door panel and I noticed a slight discoloration on the door latch connection. After looking closer I found the connector had a bad burn on it and had melted to the metal probe on the latch it’s self. This would cause the intermittent issue with the unit not advancing through cycles. I trimmed back the wires and replaced the insulated connectors. I installed a new latch with the new connectors and retested the unit. The unit is working as designed at this time and no leaks were detected during time of service. Job complete
