Arrived onsite to install previously diagnosed parts. After installing the new console I found the unit would now turn on and I was able to evoke diagnostics but when I would close the door the unit would lose power. I accessed the junction box and found the wiring incorrect. I corrected the wiring and checked incoming voltage. I found no voltage going from hot to neutral but 120VAC going from hot to ground and 120 from neutral to ground. I advised the customer they would have to have a electrician come service the circuit before we can make any further determination about the dishwasher.

Arrived on site for Insufficient cooling. Took temps in freezer and getting 9 degrees. Found frost over RC evap cover. Fridge cooling at 49. Gained access to board and found RC thermistor was out of range. Tested board for DC voltage and board is good. Informed customer to unplug for twenty four to forty eight hours and lay down towels on both left and right sides and front of the fridge to catch water once ice melts before we return. We will return with the fan scroll and thermistor to install and complete the repair. ;

"Arrived on site for oven having F6-E1 error code intermittently. Customer stated that UI was replaced through home warranty a couple of weeks ago for stuck key error. Inspected unit and work area. Performed diagnostics mode and verified fault code. Found fault code F6-E1 oven temperature, F6-E0 UI over temperature and F6-E6 miscommunication appliance manager. Flowed tech sheet for errors and found control relay sticking. Removed failed control and installed new. Powered unit on and cleared error codes. Tested unit in normal operation. All tested good. Spoke with customer on failure and service performed."

Unit is operating as designed. Using my multimeter, I tested amp draw to the components and all components are within range, including the heating element (7-9amps...photos). I recommended that the customer use liquid detergent and rinse aid in rod the unit to operate according to manufacturer recommendations. No repairs needed at this time. "On site for dryer taking more than one cycle to dry clothes. Customer stated that during the sensor cycles, the unit will quickly switch to a lesser time. Confirmed complaint. In diagnostics, found F6E1 communication error. Ran HMI diagnostic tests. Found the HMI not properly communicating with ACU when selecting cycle. Also, tested the operation of the metal sensors through the sensor harness connector. Found the sensor not detecting moisture properly. Also, found exhaust thermistor out of spec. Replaced HMI, moisture sensor harness and thermistor. Tested. Unit now functioning as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a dryer that?s making a ticking sound at the end of the cycle. Inspected unit and work area. Tested unit and confirmed the customers complaint but found the ticking sound coming from the heater as it was beginning to cool. I did advise the customer that that is normal after high heat cycles due to thermal expansion and retraction. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

After further inspection I found gearcase still intact but the inner basket mold had broken around shaft at base of inner tub. Spanner nut still in tact. Also found entire assembly leaning to front left and suspension rod not holding tub well. At time of service all other components appeared to be functioning as designed. Arrived on site to diagnose a refrigerator that is tripping the breaker. Tested all parts and components and found no failures to unit at this time. Advised customer that appliances were not intended to be put on gfci circuits and can cause them to trip. No further repairs can be done to refrigerator to prevent issue. Arrived on site for microwave that made a popping noise on two different occasions according to the customer that sounded like a gunshot going off. Upon arrival found no error codes and diagnostics I ran multiple heating test but cannot confirm any sort of loud popping noises but I did however find that the turntable was not seated properly on the turntable mounting motor and found that the turntable had some charring right next to the terminal connections also found a turntable was too easy to turn by hand manually after replacing the turntable motor I reassembled and tested unit found that microwave was much quieter than before still no popping noises and unit is heating as design. "Arrived on site for a washing machine that?s not completing cycles. Inspected unit and work area. Ran the unit through diagnostics and did not find any stored error codes. Ran the unit through an auto test and the unit ran as designed. Ran a manual test on the valves, drain pump, and high speed span. The unit ran as designed. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to JR SR# 7731931718. He advised that the issue was most likely with oversuds in or off-balance loads. The customer advised that she runs a load every single day and runs an outfit and two towels and A load of sheets once a week. JR mentioned that the oversuds in was most likely the issue if that was the case as the customer uses pods and asked if the customer had ever cleaned out her washer. The customer advised that they had not. He advise for her to run a clean washer cycle with afresh washer cleaner and then to run a load of towels without soap prior to any further loads. He also advised for the customer to limit the amount of soap usage and not to use pods unless if they?re using enough clothes to fill up a third of the basket. Advise the only other possible scenario with this issue would be with the main control. Replaced main control to illuminate any possibility of it being an issue with the machine. Calibrated the unit and ran the unit through an auto test. The unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Looked at the Ice maker and saw that the ice maker was worked but checked the temperatures in the freezer as it was set to negative 6 but taking temperatures with thermal coupler was 6 degrees. Looked at the evaporator and it looked good with no issues. Upon further inspection found that the compressor fan where the air blows was clogged with a bunch dust causing the unit to not breathe efficiently to help cool. Removed dust. Let customer know to keep the areas clean because of the issues it can cause. No other issues at this time. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for dishwasher with rust spots and not washing. Upon inspection I found no error codes stored. I found the spray arm was disconnected and falling apart. I reassembled the spray arm. The customer has concerns with the heater rusting. I can see some rust on the element. I found the outer door is dented and the damage also cracked the console. I will need to order the heater outer door and console to complete the repair. Arrived onsite for wall oven combo with microwave that will turn off mid cook and customer has to hold door shut for it to cook. Upon inspection I found a small dent on the left side right under the interlock switch. I called techline to report SR7731936099 Steve.

Arrived on site for fridge not cooling in the rc section. We gained access to the fc evaporator and found it full of ice. We tested the defrost heater and found 107 ohms. We put the unit into diagnostic and forced a defrost. We found good voltage at the cabinet. We inspected the harness and found several pins not seated properly. We repeated the pins and retested the unit. It is now coming on and defrosting. I advised the customer to leave the unit off for 24 to 48 hours to let the system fully defrost. Job complete.
