"Arrived on site for a dishwasher that had no water coming out of the spray arms. Upon arrival the customer stated they had an additional issue. They found the top rack wheels were breaking off and no longer holding the basket up. I put the unit into diagnostics mode and found stored error codes F4E3 for motor not running and F7E1 for no heat. I then ran a diagnostics cycle and found the motor not energizing at all. I gained access to the control and found good voltage coming into the unit, but no voltage going to the motor. Upon further inspection I found spiders living in the control, which may have damaged the control. I informed the customers on my findings.

"Arrived onsite for a Range that is still burning the tops of items in her oven when in use. The customer advised that the issue has gotten better since the last visit but that it does still happen. Ran the unit through a 375 Fahrenheit bake cycle and found the unit finished preheat at 407 degrees and slowly dropped to 350 degrees and cycled back up slowly. I found the unit cycling between 399 and 252 degrees Fahrenheit. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Leon SR# 7732262668. He advised that on this unit, the broil element does come on when the unit begins to cheat again. He advised that on the bake cycle both bake and broil elements come on when the unit needs to heat and he also advised that broil, bake, and convection elements come on during the convection bake cycle. He advised that on these units, you need to use some aluminum foil to deflect heat away from the tops of items while in use for baking until you are ready to brown the tops. Advise customer of Whirlpools findings and the unit is working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on site for a washing machine that is making a banging sound when in use. Inspected unit and work area. The customer had the unit loaded and it was completely full of clothes. I did advise the customer that they did have the unit overloaded. Ran the unit through a test cycle with no clothes in it in the unit ran as designed. Found no stored error codes on the unit. I ran some clothes through a normal wash cycle to get the unit saturated with water and then ran the unit through a drain and spin. Did find the slight banging noise coming from the washer when it was going off balance. The unit did center and stop making the noise. I did advise that that is normal operation with this unit especially with mixed loads as the customer was using towels with normal clothes. "Arrived on site to diagnose oven that had stopped in the middle of a back cycle before, and also had to be restarted. Unit is also showing an F2E1 error at times. Checked controls and wiring to unit and found no damaged or failing wires. Talked with CS about repair since the keypad / membrane is discontinued and the likely cause of the F2E1. We agreed that a replacement of the Ui should solve any bake logic and cycle issues, and may also resolve the F2E1. I spoke with the customer and let him know that by replacing the Ui we have replaced the only part that can cause the logic issues, and that they will still likely get the F2E1 error. This is the only repair we can do to resolve.

"Arrived on site for Range, Pop noise/flash in oven. Customer stated they saw a flash from the rear of the range when it sparked. Pulled out range and removed rear cover that shields wire block. Found all three bolts were never tightened down. Tightened down all three bolts and used electrical tape to cover the damaged wire. Wire was not exposing a group of wire threads, just one single wire thread that made the flash and pop. Once nuts were secured onto block I tested the range by preheating oven to 350. At the same time I turned on all the range elements to use all possible voltage to ensure block wiring would not fail again. Range preheated as designed. Turned on broil to test and broil element glowed bright. Job completed."

"Arrived onsite for a refrigerator thats not cooling. Inspected unit and work area. The customer advised that the unit had frosted over in the freezer section but they had defrosted it. He advised that the issue appeared to be a problem with the gaskets not ceiling on the refrigerator side. Confirm the customers complaint and found the refrigerator not sealing properly on the far left upper right hand corner. Attempted to adjust the bottom hinge of the door to get it to sit properly and every single time the screws and clamp down it would pull the door back down. Adjusted it a little further away to where I could screw it at an angle. Once I did so, the door was catching on the liner before shutting and would have to pull up on the handle to close it. I called Whirlpool Techline and spoke to Adrian SR# 7732258905. He had me video him to see what I was talking about and asked if there were any deformities in the liner. I showed him the outer edges of the liner where there appears to be bubbles at the top right and left corners.
