REFRIGERATOR WHIRLPOOL KRMF706ESS00 Arrived onsite for refrigerator with power failure. Upon inspection I found the unit turned on and cooling. The customer stated that the unit will trip the breaker 3 or 4 times a day. I accessed and inspected the compressors amp draw. I found it drawing correct amps. The customer also stated the main control had been replaced recently by a different company. As I accessed the evaporator I could hear what sounded like crackling so I turned off the breaker with a good frost pattern on the evaporator I tried to turn on the breaker but it would instantly trip. I unplugged the refrigerator and the breaker still would not turn back on. I advised that the customer would have to get a licensed electrician out to diagnose the electrical circuit. The model and serial was incorrect the customer will have to reach out to AIG and update the dispatch for this unit. Job complete.

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KRMF706EBS01 Arrived onsite for a refrigerator to replace the previous diagnosed parts. The unit was defrosted when I arrived. After talking with the previous tech and discussing the issues with the customer I removed the drain tube and cleaned it out. I reinstalled it using silicone to prevent warm air leaks. I replaced the RC fan/harness and the UI. I shimmed the drain pan so it would drain properly. I tested the unit and all is working as designed. I advised the customer to vacuum the condenser coil to keep it clear due to cat hair. I also advised the customer to shim the left rear wheel because the refrigerator is leaning to the left and explained this would cause the evaporator drip pan not to drain completely. Call complete.

I disassembled the unit and removed the element and found the metal plate badly warped and cracked and no continuity. Also found a large amount of lint built up inside the unit and all four rollers, tension pulley and belt were badly worn. I replaced the element and removed and replaced the four rollers, tension pulley wheel and belt and cleaned the lint from the unit. Reassembled the unit and retested. Unit is operating as designed. I checked the return between the FC & RC sections and it was clear. Tested the diffuser in diagnostics and it is operating as designed. I tested voltage to the RC thermistor at the hv control and found it within range. I tested continuity and it was way out of range. I removed and replaced the RC thermistor and checked continuity and it is within range. I removed the reservoir and defrosted it in the sink and with my steamer. Reinstalled and tested and found the valves have failed. I removed and replaced the inlet valve and retested and found the dual valve is bad. The prescreened part was defective in the box. DRYER WHIRLPOOL WED4850HW0 Arrived onsite for a dryer with no heat. I found no power to the unit. I reset the breaker and tested the unit. As soon as the unit started it sparked at the rear of the unit and the breaker tripped. I found the heater shorted out. I replaced the heater and tested. I found the heater coming on when the timer was in the on position with the unit not started and the heater was not grounded. WASHER MAYTAG MVWC400XW1 "Arrived on site for washer not cycling through user in put settings correctly. Upon arrival customer stated that depending on what cycle she selected the unit would sometimes randomly stay on the wash cycle even though it would spin as if it was finishing a cycle and other times the unit would just continuously wash and agitation mode and never advance. Upon entering diagnostics the only error code I found it first was F2e1 (stuck button) After clearing the air code I ran a manual diagnostic test and verify that each function of the unit was working independently from the other settings. Each setting passed. After running an auto test cycle in diagnostics I found 2 new errors accorded, F2e1 & f7e1 indicating a issue with ACU detecting the speed of motor. I cleared the error codes a 2 time and ran a factory reset on unit. After running a second auto cycle I found the same errors reoccuring. I checked wire connections between ACU and motor but found no issues.

REFRIGERATOR KITCHENAID KFIS20XVMS1 "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator no cool. Upon further inspection, I found the unit plugged in and fans operating but extremely warm inside the unit. I checked ohms to the compressor windings and found them within range. Checked voltage at the wall and got 124V. When I plugged the unit back in, I heard the start device click and the compress came on and showed 8.89amps and then turned off. Compressor was very hot. I found a large amount of debris on the condenser coils at the front of the unit. Cleaned the coils and removed and replaced the start device/capacitor and retested. Unit came on as did compressor and it showed 1.45amps. I continued to watch the unit and it began to cool. I recommended that the customer allow the unit to cool for at least 24 hours and to monitor operations for a few days. Upon further inspection the unit I could not find any error codes or indications and diagnostics of any hardware or software failures and then inspected the drain hose and made sure that it was raised properly and not allowing backflow from the sink at this point I found that the water in the valve had a tiny leak because the siloniod was not shutting all the way and would allow water fill into the tub and overfill it if given enough time. I replace the water inlet valve to the unit and verified that there were no leaks before during or after repair call complete

Upon further inspection I found leak from front of unit through the gasket. customer stated water was building up in back of unit though. I took the top of the unit off and ran the valves and no leaks were observed. I took the back of the unit off and it was completely dry with dust and observed no leaks from the below.
