I checked temps in the RC=39 degrees & FC=0 degrees. I dispensed a cup of water and it read 52 degrees. According to the owners manual, water temp will be anywhere from 33 degrees to 100 degrees. I advised the customer that the first cup will always be the coldest and anything after that will be warmer water due to the size of the reservoir and how long it takes for the incoming water to cool. I removed the FC door and drawers and found the evaporator drain tube clogged. Pulled the unit out and removed the drain tube and found it clogged with debris. Removed the debris and ran water through the tube. Reinstalled the tube and used silicone to seal the gap in between the tube and chassis. Cleared the remaining ice from the FC section. Could hear a hissing sound coming from RC evaporator compartment and line is very corroded. Checked compressor compartment and ohmed compressor windings. Recorded 6.6 ohms from common to start and 6 ohms from common to run and 12 ohms from run to start. Compressor is warm to the touch but only has a reading of .06 amps. Checked voltage and unit is receiving 120 volts. Tried using another start device but had no change in operation. Unit compressor not operating correctly and could have a leak. Will need a sealed system technician for two hrs. WASHER MAYTAG MVWB835DW4 Arrived on site for washer not filling after previously repair inlet valve was installed. Upon arrival I ran a diagnostics and found the long/no fill error. Upon testing the inlet valve I was able to verify its full functionality. The owners at the moment only have a cold water line connected to unit due to its location outside of the house. I was able to swap line between hot and cold side to verify over all the valve was working as intended. Customer then specified which cycle setting they were trying to use and I noticed during the selection that the warm water default option was constantly coming up for water temp. When I ran multiple tests I found that with warm water selection or anything except cold te unit wouldn’t advance or continue filling properly because there’s no hot water line connected. Informed customer to watch for that water temp setting and make sure it’s on cold each time only. Also went over with customer the user care guide instructions

Customer stated that a month ago the unit had frost it up as if it had a defrost issue on the freezer side but said that for the past month and not notice any issues whatsoever in the unit had been functioning as designed other than it taking too long to cool. Upon further inspection of the unit I found that the thermostat was the main cause the unit would not even turn on unless the thermostat was cranked up to the highest setting between four and five I was able to check continuity on resistance and voltage from the defrost control board as well as by middle thermostat heater and found all three were working as designed and then verify that the air baffle and dampers were functioning allowing cold air to flow properly from the freezer. Ended up replacing the thermostat and was able to reassemble and test that the fridge is not fully functional as designed call complete

Upon arrival and further inspection I checked voltage for the front right into the switch and found out the voltage was fine but that over an extended period time 10 to 15 minutes or more the burner would start to die down on its own even if it was such a high high then replaced the infinite switch and reassembled and tested the unit to verify that the burner is now functioning fully as designed and was able to boil water between 5 to 7 minutes as intended customer was happy with the results. Upon arrival customer stated that they were able to suck out the water from inside the tub using the shop vac but what they didn’t realize was they had accidentally sucked up the filter drain ball that’s it sounds like the pump for suctioning purposes during the training cycle. I also found that the housing that is from Mount Stuart cracked due to the way they tried to take apart the dishwasher but I also found that the solenoid was fully melted from overheating due to drawing on too much amperage through a timer that was not regulating power to the solenoid properly.; ordrng 1 WD12X10244 (base spray arm) and 1 WD12X10408 (filter ball)

WASHER MAYTAG MVWC465HW2 Arrived on site for washer not cycling correctly. Upon arrival I entered diagnostics and found f7e6. I checked voltage from board to capacitor and motor and found voltage supply fine. I then went ahead and replaced the motor and capacitor. At this point I ran more diagnostics test but found that unit would now function but only in low speed agitation and nothing else. I rechecked voltage from the ACU to capacitor and motor but this time found only a 1/4 of power being sent so I retested voltage directly at the ACU but found ACU wasn’t the cause. I then stripped out all the wiring from unit for detailed inspection. Upon arrival I was able to disassemble and then reinstall the new icemaker that was needed for the refrigerator after that I was able to retest number 44 and 45 and diagnostics to ensure that the icemaker is now harvesting and filling with water as designed customer was also able to keep temperature recordings of the refrigerator since our last visit and was able to confirm that the unit has been staying around zero and 38° as designed as well informed customer will take 24 to 96 hours to fill the bucket all the way up with ice but let us know if anything else were to occur.
