Arrived on site for refrigerator that had a light go out and has temperature concerns. Inspected unit and work area. Confirmed the customers complaint about the light being out in the Refridgerator section but did not find any issues with temperature. I took temperature in the unit and found the freezer sitting at -1?F in the refrigerator sitting at 37?F. I have the customer get another lightbulb as the one currently inside the unit had broken wiring inside the light bulb. Replaced the light and the unit began to illuminate as designed. The customer said they had bought another one but the replacement bulb did not seem to work. I did inform then that they do sell bad bulbs and that they may have also gotten an LED light which will not work in this unit. The unit is working as designed. Call complete.

Arrived on site for refrigerator not making ice. Upon arrival confirmed complaint and found ice maker stuck in harvest mode. Also found temps in FC and rc were good. Arrived on site for refrigerator creating ice formations in FC floor liner and ice melting together in ice box comp. upon arrival found cause of ice in FC liner was due to gap in FC door gasket under door. Was able to reshape gasket and ensure FC door would correctly seal to prevent air leak again. Arrived on site for a dryer that had an issue at one point a few weeks ago. Inspected unit and work area. Tested the unit in a high heat cycle and found the dryer heating and tumbling as designed. Used a thermocouple to check the cycling of hat and found it working as designed. Advised the customer that it was in fact working as designed with no issues present.

Arrived on site for dryer not heating. Upon arrival confirmed complaint. Found stable 240v connection. Found all heating hardware except for element were functioning within manufacture specs. "Arrived on site to inspect refrigerator with frost in the freezer section. Upon further inspection, I found the left side of,the FC door gapped approximately 1/8 inch at the gasket. I opened the FC door and found frost built up on the top of FC section, on the drawers, the rails and the door. I closed the FC door and it sealed on all four sides. I tested the door several times by opening and closing the door and holding the door handle in the middle and every time, the door closed and sealed on all four sides. Due to the amount of ice/frost on the slides, I removed and replaced the slides and retested and the door continues to close as designed. I explained the customer that the door must be opened and closed by holding the handle in the middle and demonstrated what happens when the door is not opened from the middle. Customer was not happy with the unit; therefore, I contacted Whirlpool techline and spoke to Travis and advised of the complaint and my findings. Travis advised that the door must be opened from holding the middle of the door handle or it will open at an angle and sometimes will not close properly allowing warm air inside the unit and frost will build up. I advised Travis that I was replacing the slides due to the ice/frost build up on them and causing the grease to harden and make the door difficult to close. Travis provided SR#7732286887. I advised the customer of my conversation with tech support and provided them with the SR# file number and recommended that they contact Whirlpool customer service if they have any further issues with the freezer door. No water leaks observed during service, job completed."

I called Whirlpool techline and spoke to Austin SR# 7730910924. He advised that based on the fact that the unit did not error without clothes, it would have to be a ventilation issue. He advised that since the customer has a more than 90 degree turn in his attic to go out, it can hinder airflow. He advised that since we have already replaced the control, the unit would not be at fault at this time. He advised to make no repairs. Call complete."

"Arrived on site to test unit for timer not advancing. Verified timer was staying in same position and not advancing on timed dry also found unit will not shut off on sensed dry. Found moisture sensor popped out of place and was making contact other sensor so unit was thinking things were still wet as contacts were closed. "Arrived on site for a washing machine thats making a grinding and squealing sound. Inspected unit and work area. Placed the unit and serviced diagnostics and tested the spin function. Found the splutch assembly completely grinding on itself immediately and not getting the basket. The customer advised that the unit also is making a squealing noise prior to the grinding sound. Its on the basket by hand and found the unit skipping as if that one of the bearings on the transmission was bad. Check Internet the unit and confirmed that the unit had lost oil underneath. Also advised that the crisper pans are not closing properly. I tested the lower pan and found it to not be seating correctly on the rails. I could not determine if the pan is warped or not. I tested the crisper pans and found that when removed, they have to be aligned onto the rails correctly or they will hang on the rails and not close properly. I demonstrated to my customer how to properly install them after removing them to clean. I am ordering the lower pan, pan front, pan handle, left & right side plates, right & left pan slides & left and right side plate slides and office to schedule return service due to the availability of parts. I inspected the drum rollers we have previously replaced, and the are in good condition and spinning properly. I inspected the motor and the pulley. I put the unit into a diagnostics cycle and found the sump and motor assembly is operating properly as designed but the drain pump is intermittent, I replaced the drain pump and found that broken glass had seized the drain pump, I tested the unit with the new drain pump and found the unit is operating properly as designed with no leaks observed.job complete."

"Arrived on site for fridge making a loud noise. I inspected the unit and work area. I found frost build up on the fc evaporator. I put the unit into diagnostics. I activated the defrost heater and found it coming on. I also found some slight gaps between the cabinet and outer liner. I am ordering the UI, fc thermistor, control and silicone to repair the unit. The office will reschedule when we have eta on the parts. ; ordrng 1 WP482338 (Silicone) and 1 W11558182 (Control)"

"Arrived onsite for vent hood not coming on. Upon arrival inspected wall outlet found proper voltage coming from wall to unit. Found motor receiving voltage but completely dead. Replaced unit. Motor and proceeded to test. Found new unit motor was binding with blower making whining sound coming on barely on high, with rubbing sound. Ordering another motor, office to reschedule upon arrival of parts.; ordrng 1 W11100651 (Blower fan)"

"Arrived on site for dishwasher leaking water. Upon arrival confirmed complaint. Found no errors in diagnostics. After further tests I found water leaking from sump asm, as well as the element bushing. Unit will need new element and sump/motor asm to complete repairs. "Arrived on site to diagnose refrigerator that was not dispensing water or making ice. Ran dispenser and found nothing coming out, but you could hear the valve humming. Removed filter and ran unit and found no issues dispensing water. Replaced filter and ran again. Found unit properly dispensing with new filter. Unit now working as designed. Call complete."

Arrived on call for complaint of not heating. Found the power supply not correct. Customer will have supply corrected.

Arrived on site for wine cooler not powering on. I found the unit on but not recognizing the door is open. I found the kick plate holding the door switch in. I adjusted the kick plate. The switch now works as designed. Job complete.

Arrived onsite for unit having the lint light always blinking. Looked at the unit and the light would blink when in the on position but will turn off after the unit is started. Was able to confirm that her unit will have the light always blinking as a reminder and will only shut off after starting the unit. No issues at this time. Job complete.
